The restaurant had a great ambiance and a modern look. The service was excellent and quick. Seeing they have banh mi's, I will need to come back and try one and a vermicelli noodle bowl. Stopped by for lunch and wow! This is some great pho! The restaurant is a decent size with a simple interior. We were greeted by the staff right away and brought to a table. The menu is large but we knew what we were getting! I got an egg roll, which was fine, but I should have gotten a spring roll like my friend. They were huge with fresh ingredients. I got Pho 1, rare beef, and it was just amazing. I love when the beef is cooked in the soup, and it was great quality. The soup itself was complex and delicious, and of course they had all the add ins like limes, hoisin sauce, and basil. This is a great local place to stop by for pho. I especially like that they offer different sizes of bowls so you can choose what works best for you. read more

In the area and searched Yelp for Pho. We have had so "Pho" weather lately. Just Pho You did not disappoint. Tucked away in a commercial area, in a strip mall, plenty of seating, nothing fancy. I consider myself a "Pho Connoisseur" - and let me tell you, best Pho I've had in Washington state. The rice noodles are thin, so were very soft- not like the thick rice noodles you usually see in Pho- so much better. The steak was good quality and the broth was amazing. My rare steak pho had four tiny slices of meat in it and the shrimp fresh rolls were basically just decorated with one shrimp that was sliced lengthwise into three pieces then rolled inside of the rice paper:( the peanut sauce was slightly gritty and they need to serve it with a sweet chili sauce instead of the hot sauce. Today upon paying the older Vietnamese lady at the cash register was very mean and pushy ! She expressed her frustration with the tip , which is optional I told her , she continued to rant in her native tongue, which is okay while screaming while staring at me. So I stood there and told the lady that she is highly unprofessional and rude . Service here is on point. The place is clean and they run like a well oiled machine here. Once I ordered my pho came out so fast. What I love is that they offer tendon and tripe here. Seems to be hard to find in some areas. The meat in my pho was perfect. It was a very ample serving in my size large bowl. The broth is clean and light. Overall the pho was decent. Not the best but on a day when I'm craving - it satisfies the craving. I'd definitely go back when in the mood for lunch but I wouldn't t go out of my way to have pho here. They did not ask me or anyone else on my visit (03/02/22) for my proof of vaccination. While eating my lunch, the manager or owner came out and talked with two regulars about Covid and how it's fake and the goal is not pay out social security. Having not had pho in a while I stopped by Just Pho You to try them out. I've seen some mixed reviews as of late and was a bit hesitant...but still went for it. Ordered the large P8 (Pho Dac Biet - everything except meatballs) and it was good. I always ask for the noodles to be packed on the side uncooked so I can cook it at home. It only takes a few extra minutes to boil a pot of water and cook the noodles for 20 seconds. That really makes a huge difference for take-out pho. The broth was flavorful, but was barely enough to cover my bowl. That's the one thing that you really lose out on for take-out. Even a large pho only includes one container of broth. The other area they can improve on is the small bag of bean sprouts, basil, jalapeno, and lime. For a large bowl, they don't provide nearly enough of those ingredients. The egg rolls were good, but did not come with the standard fish sauce or any lettuce wraps. Prices are reflective of the increase in meat prices... although 2 large orders of pho, and 4 egg rolls for $36 was more than expected. read more

This was my favorite lunch spot when I worked in Kent. Just two minutes from site, pho broth is always consistent and rich, plentiful of meats. I usually get a combo pho and then either a spring roll or fried egg roll. Weirdly they don't automatically give any fish sauce with their fried eggroll, so I usually have to ask, but it's no big deal. Sometimes I don't want white onions, so I ask them to take it out, and they do it no questions asked. The old lady who owns the place is so sweet and polite. I love this pho joint! I recently discovered this place after doing some research, reviews and ratings. I am so glad I stopped by here on my way to run some errands. As soon as I walked in the door, I was warmly greeted with a smile. A little girl drop a menu on my table and a couple minutes later a lady came by to ask me if I wanted hot tea or water and if I was ready to order; I got the P6 small. Less than 5 minutes, she brought out my pho, I tasted the broth first before adding hoisin sauce (in case the broth was already on the sweet side) Oh my word....It brought a smile to my face, it was that good. Just the right amount of flavoring; a hint of sweetness and clean taste. Just need a drizzle of hot sauce and a touch of hoisin; no additional fish sauce needed. I do admit, the basil and bean sprouts are very little, but that's ok for me since I don't need that much anyways. My favorite pho spot is all the way in Seattle in the international district but this place is just as good and it's really close to home. I can't wait to come back here with my whole family to share with them some good bowls of pho, one that we don't need to wait over 20 minutes even though that place wasn't even busy. read more

Pho Lovers, Here is your report. I always wanted to check this place out and finally did. It's part of a strip mall. As I came in around 1pm, the place was packed with local workers just like previous reviews said. Once I sat down they brought me the menu and a second later asked me what I wanted. If that is so, why would you give me the menu? But that's how Asian service is usually like, we expect you to know what you want and I do. So, I ordered the shrimp spring rolls and pho chin nam. As I was waiting, I noticed the waiters check on other tables to see if their food is good, but did not check on mines when the time came. I call this inconsistent 'bonus' service, as pho restaurants do not normally check back with you and in this case they were inconsistent. The sprimp spring rolls came and it was one long spring roll sliced in half. The dipping sauce was sweet with too much peanut flavor; in other words, no like. I grabbed the first spring roll and took a bite and it was too gluey, the rice wrapper was glued onto the filling. No good. The pho's broth needed a little more seasoning; luckily, it did not tasted like nasty cinnamon! But the hoisin and lime saved it. The noodles were overdone. The first piece of meat was hard, but after a little bit everything in the bowl tasted ok. Did not check on the cleanliness of the restroom. But it's the pho that I came here for and I will come back because they are lucky that the Pho Bac boat is all the way in Chinatown, which is "the standard for what pho should be like". I appreciate the place, though I have been to so many vietnamese restaurants in the bay area previously, and I would compare the place as fine or among the norm. Pricing is fair with $9 for a small pho and up to $14 for like Com Tam (Meat with Rice). I got the #6 Nam + Bo Vien and it was good. The meat was chewy and a little thin, I like the noodle type (more rectangle), and the bo vien was well fine. I wouldn't say the pho for me is the best, far from it, but I would say the pho for you could be great. read more

I stopped by Just Pho You for the first time this past Wednesday on my way to Tacoma to meet a friend for a quick lunch. It's located just across West Valley Highway from Boeing in Kent. I've had Pho a number of times over the years but never acquired the habit. Not that I don't like it. As I said, I just never pulled it into my normal small pallet of the food I eat often. Just Pho You is a new establishment and from the moment I greeted my friend Greg in the parking lot and we entered the restaurant I was impressed. We were cheerfully greeted at the door with a big warm smile and a genuine welcome. This place was different than many Pho establishments I've been to. It was bright, cheerful, very clean, and bigger than most with ample space between tables, great for having a conversation over your meal. While we were waiting (and not very long) for our #1 Pho, we made note of the constant flow of people coming in. I thought it was remarkable for a new place with a location that seemed to me, a little off the beaten path. Well, the mystery was soon solved. The Pho not only looked picture perfect it was the best that I can ever remember and the service was great all the way to the finish and out the door. Fortunately, this excellent restaurant is near where I work, so I get to dine here frequently. Parking is always convenient even at the busy lunch hour. The restaurant is always clean (even the restroom) and service is very quick. The staff is very efficient and friendly. I have some food sensitivities, and they always get my order correct - leaving the food I am allergic to off of the plate. My favorite dish is the Pho Ga. The chicken is always juicy and tender. Many restaurants use the chicken that is boiled for broth - this is what makes the chicken dry and flavorless. All the flavor has been boiled out of it for broth! The head waitress told me that the secret to the deliciousness of their chicken is that the meat is NOT the same chicken that was boiled for broth. They use freshly cooked chicken, and I can definitely tell. I've sampled a few of their other dishes, and all have been yummy. They roast their own peanuts for their peanut sauce - which is remarkable. If it was legal to marry a peanut sauce, I would definitely choose theirs! read more

A co-worker loves this place and has raved about it. They know what she wants when she walks in! I ordered B-4 which was pretty good. The meat and flavors were all very good and I enjoyed the egg roll that comes with it. My only thing would be the price, seemed a bit steep. The restaurant is very clean and organized and the service was what you would hope from any establishment. I was surprised that the chili oil they provide wasn't really that hot, the rooster sauce seemed hotter. I really enjoy spicy food, so this was a bit lack luster. This pho was pretty MEH. I came here with a friend and ordered some rare steak and beef ball pho with a side of two egg rolls. I ordered the regular sized pho which was a decent sized portion but a bit lacking in noodles and rare steak. I found the broth to be rather unflavorful a bit redundant of the other phos less flavorful i have had in the past. The egg rolls were very skinny and tasted of just pork and onion wrapped into a skinny deep fried pencil. I was not too impressed by the quality of quantity of the egg rolls ($2 each) and not that tasty. Overall I'd probably skip this place on my next pho adventures. read more

Bustling noodle shop open during lunch only that has a slightly higher price point than most pho spots. That is the downside, the upside is that the service is efficient and the broth is excellent! Everyone knows this which is why it's so busy but if you have to wait it shouldn't be so long and they will get you in and out as fast as is needed to continue your work day. A solid lunch place where they know what they are doing, if your looking for a dining option for lunch skip the burgers and fries where you will pay about the same price for a McCombo meal. This is by far the best in town. I now live in Maple Valley and when I anywhere near it I stop by for a bowl. The service always spot on. The food is really good. The broth is real. Not like some I have tried that isn't better than store bought off the shelf beef broth. This is the real deal. The meats are all done well and the quality is top notch. I typically have the "everything" and it's all clean. No after taste - it's been cleaned well. No foul taste like a few places. The price is about a $1 or more but it's worth it. It's worth for me to drive past over a dozen closer places from Maple Valley (10-15 miles away). Free tea and the basil comes out fresh! Not soggy or dry like other places. It's all fresh and clean.
