LA self proclaimed pho-expert here. THIS PLACE ROCKS. It is so authentic, so good, so soothing, flavors so rich, I wish we had this is Los Angeles. We have some good ones but this one is possibly top 3 southern style pho for me. I got the #15 PHO as a large. The noodles were perfectly cooked and silky with perfect chew. The broth lord Jesus, it was so full of flavor! I couldn't stop eating. We also asked for beef fat w scallions on the side, pickled onions and cooked bean sprouts for the perfect meal. Also, so full of good quality meat. The BUN BO HUE was excellent too! Wow I don't know how they pack so much flavor is such clean broth. These soups will heal any ailment immediate. Both are a no fail choice. I've had so many good phos and if you follow me you know. I don't kid about truly legit pho. I found it here in Seattle and it's going to be bookmarked for my future visits. Specially if you come from Mt. Rainier, this is the place to go after. Service also so warm and welcoming. This spot is always steady on the food. I enjoy the convenience of them. The only downside is that their location is small and compact. But the service is always kind. The pho is pretty solid here. We had great service, really good food. It's very casual in there, but that is fine. I would highly recommend them. It was delicious; however, took quite a while to come out of the kitchen - the spouse was already finished with his pho by the time I got my meal! This is one of my favorite viet places and I'm pretty picky. They have solid prices, amazing banh mis and the best springrolls. If they were closer to my work I would go more often. We can order 4 things and not feel like we just spent too much. Second, every single dish we have ever ordered has been delicious! You want a rice dish? They have it and it's good. Chicken wings? Next to a Walmart, there's plenty of free parking. The staff are friendly enough and no major issues with the service. Setting is very casual and geared to get the food out. The food however, needs work. My gas Xao Xa ot (chicken lemongrass stir fry) was tough and the flavors were bland. A solid place to get pho near Renton. Piping hot and flavorful broth, generous servings of protein, and food prepped at amazing speeds. What's not to like? Service was of the speed I would expect at a pho restaurant, extremely quick! From sitting down to receiving food, the process took probably 5 minutes. Seating is tight and cozy but turnover is quick so don't fret if it's too busy An interesting note is that my assumption is they soak their noodles vs boiling them directly. This gives more separation from each individual noodle as starch is rinsed which I prefer over the clumpy, starchy mass that is typical. A pro for me, but something to keep in mind for those that have a preference for one way or another. Definitely a recommend if you're around Southcenter and craving pho! read more

What is more soothing in a cold winter night than a bowl of piping hot pho? I was crazing Vietnamese food and this place pops up with great reviews so I decided to check it out. We ordered a large signature pho, ox tail pho, beef short rib rice, pork chop rice with sugar cane shrimp. The sugar came shrimp was sooooo good. You know this place is totally legit. I have to heat back up the soup base for the pho. It was very flavorful, the ox tail pho was one of the best in the area. Little gem of a restaurant in a strip center, but a little bit of a rough neighborhood. Small dine-in, busy take-out. First time was dine-in, and I had a solid bowl of tai gan pho (beef pho with rare round and tendon) served with a nice pile of Thai basil, sprouts, lime and jalapeño. Broth was nicely flavored. An interesting find in a small strip mall. Pho soup was authentic, back to Vietnam flavors. Not overly sweetened like many American influenced dishes. Definitely a good bowl of pho. They piled on the protein which is again another authentic style from Vietnam. This meal did bring me back. Made the many pho restaurants I've tried stand out even more in how sweet their soups were, how minimal the protein, and how little they give you. Venue itself is not the cleanest, but plenty of seating for large and small groups. Service was just okay. You can tell everyone uses English as a second language but the service is very typical of a Vietnamese restaurant so don't expect warm welcomes and over the top service. They do the minimum cause it is a business. Would recommend for those looking for the authentic bowl of pho, but if you like sweet, this is not it. Went here with high hopes given the great reviews of the restaurant and really wanting to support local businesses. The food was fine, but nothing really stood out to me. I hate it when the expectations from other reviews are so high that the overall experience is a letdown. That's what this was to me. The food was average and what you would expect from a typical Vietnamese Pho restaurant. The egg rolls were a little funky with some type of mushy filling that I wasn't expecting. It's located in a strip mall and had a "hole-in-the-wall" vibe but it was busy so we were hopeful. We ordered a chicken and beef terriyaki, chicken noodle dish, and egg rolls. The food came out fairly quickly but in an odd order. My noodles came first, then 5 mins later my husband's terriyaki, and then after that we got our egg rolls. The food was kind of across the board - the egg rolls were great, the teriyaki was good, and the noodles were just average. The chicken and veggies in it were under seasoned and bland. It had a small, family business feel which I love, but I think it could have been a little cleaner. Also for a quick lunch place, I think the prices were high for what you get. read more

Solid pho place. I ordered the large brisket and tendon pho. As another reviewer mentioned, there's no sauce plates so I made do with the plate the garnish came on to use for dipping. My limes were surprisingly juicy which is usually not the case. The meat was tender and the price was good. The only thing lacking is the broth. It's not the worst broth but lacked some depth compared to my favorite broth at Pho Than Brothers in Seattle. Cleanliness Rating: Good.
