First off this was my second time here so keep that in mind. Second I want to say the service was decent. She was very attentive and the portions were big. My issue was the sanitary aspect or shall I say the lack there of. I mean it's one thing to see a couple hairs on the floor ya know but wow the amount of hair and debris in the floor looked like they hadn't cleaned in weeks. There was a a whole clump of hair under our table and hair hanging from the chairs. I dropped my daughter's blanket on the floor and my husband picked it up and he it had a pubic hair on it. The tables were not wiped off and the bathroom was a disaster zone. I mean if this is what they think their customers should deal with can you imagine what the kitchen looks like. The food was ok but I'm gonna be honest it's not something I would pay for again when there are other options that at least care enough about their customers that they actually keep the place clean and sanitize. My friends, boyfriend and I just got done completing an escape room and we were wanting to grab something to eat together but it was 9:30pm so a lot of places were closing. Luckily I saw Pho T & L was open and I've had this place saved for a while so this was the best timing to try them out. We arrived and it was pretty busy and we weren't sure if we seated ourselves or someone else seats us as it took a few minutes for us to get noticed. After a little of standing awkwardly near the entrance, someone noticed us and motioned us to sit near the check out area which you do need to go up and pay rather than wait for someone to drop off a check. We were given waters and menus and given a decent amount of time to decide what we wanted. My friends got a lemonade with tea, Thai tea, shaking beef and combo vermicelli while my boyfriend got the shaking beef and egg rolls and I got the Bun Bo Hue and spring rolls. My boyfriend got his egg rolls and I didn't get my spring rolls until after everyone's' order came in so I have a feeling that the employee who took our order forgot or the kitchen forgot. There was no apology or anything for it either. I got my food first, after several minutes the shaking beef came out and after another a while my friend got his vermicelli bowl. Luckily we weren't pressed for time but it made it awkward as we didn't get our food at the same time and it took a bit to get them. I am a slow eater so I guess it worked out that I got mine first but I also didn't receive my spring rolls until I brought it up once we received everything else. The food was phenomenal and our friends said their drinks were perfect too. I did enjoy my Bun Bo Hue, though I did make it a bit more spicier with their chili oil. They have plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate all party sizes. They do have a bathroom but you have to go through a long, scary hallway to get to it. The tables have probably the cutest container for their chili oil but I appreciate that they have napkins, sriracha, hoisin, and utensils on the table. The employees don't really check in often and they didn't really come by to fill our waters until we were down with our meal. I have to write this review first of all, we only ordered a small and large bowl of pho. The lady charged my friend $62, my friend was like are you sure? For that table? And the lady says yes. My friend looked puzzled and she's like $62 for pho? I said no way. I went up to the counter and said you charge my friend $62 for those 2 bowls of pho... she starts to calculate on this calculator.... I've seen a good amount of videos on social media recommending the Bun Bo Hue here, so a rainy day seems like a perfect opportunity to give it a try. The BBH is definitely better than most I've tried, especially the broth, flavorful with a nice balance of sweet and spicy. I would hifjlu recommend adding some lime to add another dimension. Personally I'm not a fan of the pig feet nor the blood, though the blood here is pretty soft. I also tried the Bun Rieu (crab tomato noodle). Compare to BBH, this soup lacks flavor. I enjoyed the crab and pork meatballs. This is definitely for casual dining, with some pretty old tables and sticky floor. Service is good, food came out fast. read more

When we pulled up to an unassuming location there were several cars in the parking lot. We were quickly seated, given menus and brought out water. While we waited for our food the place started getting pretty busy. Pho was hot, fresh, and tasty. We liked that you could pick up to three meats for one price. Utensils and condiments are at your table. You do have to go to the counter to pay. Thank goodness they were still opened! My friend and I just came back from Hoh Rainforest and were needing some comfort food. This was near my gym and it was perfect. Not many people at first, but people started trickling in and then it was quite full. The service was quick, your typical Asian restaurant. We ordered a Bun Rieu and a platter to share. The size of the bowl of noods was huge!! We could've just shared that! The flavor was great and it warmed our little bodies up from the cold rain. The place was busy at 10pm at night - no wonder since it's the only place around for miles that is open so late for food other than maybe a bar! The food was great, although can't speak for the pho as I was really craving a rice dish (the beef short rib and rice plate) and my friend got a banh mi (a little on the dry side but meat tasted decent). Most of my good-place boxes got checked off here. This is a nice place to eat at on a very rainy and wet Saturday night around 6:30pm, which is when my friend and I got here. We got seated pretty quickly since it was about 3/4 of the way full. Inside is pretty casual and slightly unsanitary, with the regular heavy chairs and glass tables, and the cooks in the back talking some fun stuff according to my friend. For it also being a stormy night, it's very brightly lit up here which is nice given this location opens till 2am and would make a perfect midnight meal area. Menu consists of pho, bun, rice dishes and other things that I've seen in most Vietnamese restaurants. I got a large combo pho with raw steak, flank, brisket and tripe. Broth is rich in flavor, and meats were fresh. Tripe was chewy and had no unpleasant tastes that I've encountered in other restaurants. my friend and I also shared egg rolls as an appetizer. They came out piping hot and fresh, and were just standard overall. We were pretty full afterwards. Just knowing this place opens till 2am makes me wanna come here close to that time just to get my food in if I'm around the area for gamecenter or if I get too tired after a visit to Round 1 in Tukwila. Yum! Was pleasantly surprised to see Bun Bo Hue on the menu. My all time favorite type of pho. Came with all the extras you'd expect from a tradition BBH like pork blood and pork foot and a dark/flavorful broth. All the meats were delicious and the noodles were the thickest BBH noodles I've ever received and they were DELICIOUS. A small, late-night Pho spot is always appreciated, this location is open until 2 AM on the weekends and is near my house! The pho was pretty standard, nothing too special. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. I find it unique that you can pick your own toppings, for example, 2 or 3 toppings define a small Pho, and around 1 topping is part of the Kid's menu, at least for the menu that we received. Unfortunately, there was a hair in my bowl so I hope this restaurant can double-check their cleanliness standards and practices. read more

The food is great which is a reason I come in often, but the service really sucks. I came in tonight and waited at the front for 10 minutes while there are 3 open tables that need to be bussed. It was busy so I'll give them that but there were 2 employees in the front chatting and laughing the whole time. We finally got sat and waited almost another 10 minutes to be greeted and have our orders taken. Another customer came in got seated as soon as they came in, waters and their order taken in minutes. This is my honest review: As a first time, out of towner I would rate the food a C. They brought my entree out first and my other friends' food arrived approx 7-10 mins later. And my rice was brought 5 mins later after my food came out. So there's that. The owner, I assume--was doing some bookkeeping right in the center table, and all the family/employees are having their dinner, too. I understand staff needs to eat but from a patron perspective---it is very unprofessional and UNHYGIENIC. Staff, incl owner, wore what looked like PJs and house slippers--also very unprofessional. My water glass was empty, No one checked on our food if it was salty or anything --just took our order and dropped the food, and you expect 15-20% automatically? TIPS are based on service. Especially with costs rising double-- the service should meet minimum standard. I'm sorry but yall need to fine tune your operation and being attentive to your guests. For those new to Pho T&L, it's located in a small strip mall in the industrial area of Kent, Washington - and about 4 minutes from the Renton border, but well worth it. You notice that it's rather busy for being in such a remote spot, but it's many fans find their way. Definitely a family run joint, the food reflects is home cooking. All your favorite Vietnamese dishes are there, pho, spring rolls, and a few rice dishes. Make sure to check in with your host before finding your seat, and read the menu carefully for that tasty dish you probably missed ordering. It does take a few extra minutes to get your food, but it is worth it. I ordered the fresh spring roll with a tasty peanut sauce. But for me, instead of your standard beef pho, I ordered a dish that's pretty rare in many Vietnamese establishments, Bo Kho. This flavorful beef stew can be prepared many ways. White onions cut a little thick for my taste. * Spicy Beef Noodle Soup- huge portion, too spicy for me that I could not eat it after couple spoons. My mom who eat very spicy even thought it was too spicy. Flavor was good, the protein was good too! Veggie dish was good portion. * Bo Kho (Beef Stew)- also another large portion, heavy on the lemongrass flavor (not bad, just different than how I make it). Consistency on the soup side vs stew. Option of carb: bread, egg noodle or rice noodle. Ambiance: as class Vietnamese as you can get. Service: very nice, they'll give you extra bowl to help me split a large pho for my kids. They get water and provide take out containers for our large leftover portions. Hours are long and late. Even open to 2:00 am on Fri and Sat. Opens at 11am daily. Parking: parking lot available.
