We've been a long time patron here, but this is the first time we have visited for breakfast. We now live a half hour away, but decided to give it a try. The staff is very friendly, as always. Our server gave us great recommendations! We love the atmosphere here, very casual, no pressure to rush. Breakfasts came out fast. Our server recommended the corned beef hash. It had bits of corned beef. I tried the Fiesta Scramble. Nice thick sourdough toast. The scramble was tasty. It came with jo-jo type potatoes (which are not a fav). Hubs got chicken fried steak. I was meeting up with a friend for drinks and a snack and Local 907 was equidistant for us. I've heard good things about this spot, so I was excited to finally have a reason to give it a try! Very much neighborhood pub vibes. Wouldn't quite call it a dive but it is very cozy and the atmosphere is casual. Service was pretty quick which is always a bonus. They have a solid list of beers on tap and I was able to find a delicious local hazy - forget which brewery it was from, but it was really good! The food menu is pretty decent too with lots to choose from. They also have a happy hour menu that has fairly affordable deals. We decided we wanted to split the nachos which were pretty good. Toppings were adequately dispersed and everything tasted fresh. They have a ton of available seating and if you need more seats for one table, they have many spare chairs on hand in the back for you to grab. It was busy on a weekday evening at around 11 pm. We were lucky to snag a high table. Some people stayed long, some people just came and went. Parking was difficult to find up front. Had to park a block away, which wasnt a huge problem. For drinks, the beer selection was great. Cocktails for my friend were initially too sweet or hid the alcohol, but they made the time to accomodate to her tastes. One of Renton's Diamond in the Ruff The atmosphere is very inviting with pool tables and the space is very open and warm. The food is so yummy. Today I ordered The Breakfast Burger with Sweet potatoe fries and a Strawberry Margarita. My sister ordered the California Burger with Sweet potatoes fries and a Mai Tai. The Burgers were both seasoned to perfection. The fries were deep fried and they tasted wonderful, didn't need any dipping sauce. The drinks were tasty, not too strong and not watered down. The customer service was awesome. The bathroom was clean. The prices are very reasonable and if you visit during Happy Hour you won't be disappointed! We sat in a booth and enjoyed our meal while watching the snow come down. Great memories made here today and I must say I will definitely visit The Local 907 again read more

Service: -1 star. Food: 1 star, as expected. Wait: 1 star, easy to find seating. Cost: 1 star, affordable Cleanliness: 1 star, cleaner than most bars/pubs. Because this is a local bar, I wasn't going to give them a review based solely on service and if I did, they'd get 1-star because yelp requires a 1-star minimum. I have not had such terrible service in years, and I've been in quite a variety of establishments in various levels of price, but this is ranking in my top 2 worst customer service experiences in my lifetime. The way we were spoken to half the time was very indifferent and the other half, spoken with a full on attitude like 'what do you want' 'hurry up' energy, as if the server wished we would leave. Being antagonized by the server because we weren't ready quickly enough by being questioned multiple times 'so you're not ready' after we said.... we're not ready. The overall analysis is that our server was very drunk, which is not what I even thought of first but my server friend explained to the table and that actually made the service finally make sense. I don't want to elaborate more here only because at the end of the day, it is what it is. This is a local establishment that has been here for quite some time. I wish the server had been indifferent and simply did the bare minimum, because then it wouldn't have been memorable. But the most memorable thing was how condescending, rude, and attitude-y the service was. I'm actually appalled. My last thought is, we were an all BIPOC group. There were a few other BIPOC customers, but an estimate from that night would be about 95% white customers, I did not personally see anyone BIPOC working. This wasn't our first choice, but I was down to try it again after about 10 years and.... even with the great price, decent food... I won't recommend this place or have any plans to return. It was 'all his fault' and I'm sticking to that story! ;-) I went in for brunch with good intentions, probably a healthy scramble and then I heard, at the next table, the words chicken fried steak. So once the thought of the scramble was quickly launched out the window - I said yes to the chicken fried steak and yes to the scone. I mean why not at this point! The cfs was perfect. The gravy amazing. The portion was 2 meals worthy. And the scone - there is a reason they now refer to him as the Scone King. The texture, the what appears to be a light glazing of either lemon or orange on top, with what also appeared to be sugar-in-the-raw, oh my! Popped in yesterday for happy hour after not having come in...9 years? The nachos were hefty, the shredded chicken plentiful, though it was a bit dry for me and lacked that ooomphew if that makes sense. Service is fine, checked in on us a few times but we never got our water refilled despite being there for 2 hours. Not super busy when we came but by the time we left it was the place to be. I ended up liking this place so much I came twice in one day! It's pretty large on the inside with one room with booths and high tops plus the bar, and a second room with pool tables, darts, etc; it would be good for groups! Service was great, we were checked on consistently and didn't wait long for food or drinks. The food & drinks were absolutely the best part! My two top must tries are the fried pickles and the local tea, both are insanely delicious. My mom is a big devotee of their tater tots as well. The eggs benedict, chicken strips, classic burger, and tacos are also tasty and you can't really go wrong with any of their other drinks. Have been coming to the local for almost 10 years since we moved to Renton and I just really miss the servers from back then. Over time, the service has just gotten worse. Now, there's only a few servers I'm happy to see. We used to come multiple times each week and now we ONLY come for Mingo on Wednesdays. Most recently the newest server (glasses, white, brown hair with lots of bangs) has just been rude. She's accused my friends of lying about their Mingo prizes, kicked my husband without apologizing or acknowledging she kicked him, and then argued with another friend when they ordered a red beer named Rojo Red and insisted it was "amber." I was thinking that I'd reviewed this divey bar and grill located in downtown Renton before, but it looks like I haven't. Thursday night it was obviously trivia night and the place was getting busy. We found a table in the pool room, but it was noisy for a time, as some people were having an after-work party. Even better we hit happy hour at the right time. The beer selection was extensive and the HH food selection was pretty limited. We opted for some regular menu items. There were three of us and selected something different. All items were outstanding (from the reviews of my family). By the time we got finished our meal and paid the bill, it was time to start trivia. The looks that we got while leaving were pretty funny as the crowd was settling in to play. I'm impressed with downtown Renton, they have done a great job of keeping it vibrant downtown. read more

The Local is my go to joint for Hawks games. It's a large place, with a ton of screens on one side of the bar and then a pool table, shuffleboard, and some pinball in the other room. I've always been able to grab a seat, and more often than not I'll end up chatting w someone next to me at the bar. It's a good mix of ages & walks of life, and seems to have solid group of regulars. The staff seem like genuinely nice people, and will happily chat about the draft list & give a sample pour. It's bar food, to be sure, but they make their own pastrami, slice fries in house, serve a Monte Christo (not on a lot of menus), and the poutine w/shredded beef is amazing. We've been coming here for probably 10 years. They always have fantastic vegetarian options and plenty of local brews on tap. They are always very accommodating to my special requests, so you can customize some options to be vegan if you want. I always get their Field Roast grinder and add lettuce and onions to it. It's delicious! My husband likes to get their Monte Cristo sandwich with field roast instead of meat. I'm not even sure if you can call this a bar? Not sure. Anyways. We were across the street at the arcade (which is very fun btw) and I decided that I wanted a drink. An actual drink though because the arcade served beer and I'm not a beer drinker. We came across to this place because it looked fun! And the food on Yelp looked good. When we got in it was kind of packed and the service wasn't so great. We tried to sit at the bar but they told us we couldn't...not sure why. There were open spots, then they offered only 1 spot...but there were 2 of us. So we opted to wait for a table. Once the waitress came I ordered a double vodka and pineapple juice...but they don't do doubles...a bar, that doesn't do doubles. It was wild. But okay. I ordered the same drink as a single. We also ordered chicken wings and nachos with no meat. Our drinks came, mine was mostly pineapple juice and a water because the ice had melted a lot before she brought the drink to the table. The wings were okay and the nachos lacked any season. Taste like black beans out the can, the only salt came from the cheese on the chips. All in all, I wouldn't go back. read more

A club sandwich sounded good to me, so I decided to do a local search to see who I should check out. Both photos and reviews for this place were promising. A few people said the service could be slow and a person or two also mentioned the service was less than polite. In each case people said the food was good, so I made the journey. I was greeted in under a minute and the server was pleasant. The food came fairly quickly and although not as good as expected, it was tasty. In the photo, the sandwich was grilled, my breaded was not grilled or toasted and it did take away from the expected experience. Service was pretty good until the end. When the girl took my plate, she said she'd be right back with the check. She didn't return for at least 10 minutes. The Seahawks were playing and drinking were being served, but it would have been nice to be able to pay and leave. I think this is typical of pubs, they are used to people loitering, but for those of us that don't drink, we're not looking to get comfortable. Also, I don't like football, so there is no value added, just hanging out. I'd love this place in my neighborhood, the menu is great and I would love to return for breakfast, however, this is a high traffic area with limited parking and I don't like having to circle the block for 10 minutes to find a place. read more

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time in a weekday night this past week. Unlike a lot of other bars that close at 9 or 10, Local 907 is open until 2am. The bar is spacious and is relatively calm, at least on a weekday. They played country and pop music in the background but at a good level you can easily have a conversation with the people around you. The bartenders are very friendly and chill. They are prompt to serve you. One thing to note is that they hold onto your card until you're ready to leave so your tab remains open until then. I ordered the Pirate's Booty and the Honey Bush cocktails; all of their cocktails are $13. Pirate's Booty has pineapple vodka and orange juice and was thus very tropically. Honey Bush tasted like Snapple Iced Tea; it was slightly too sweet for me but not overwhelmingly sweet. My boyfriend ordered the Raspberry Sour Cider (approx $6-$7) and the Half Sweet Seattle Cider (approx $6 - $7 as well). I personally liked the half sweet cider better but he liked the raspberry sour more. Local 907 has a variety of games you can post for including a couple of arcade games, two pool tables, darts, and shuffleboard.
