We deff enjoy it here; and the weather was perfect as well so we enjoy the vibe on the patio by the water. The food was good as well. And the waiter that helped is was super awesome. He really took care of us. He waa very energetic even when he was the only server at that time. What we got: Chips and dips Store bought tortilla chips i think; but the pico was good and the guac as well. Lemon pepper wings Heavy seasoned; but i like em; might be too salty for some people; but i think it was great! Hot dogs Its a good hot dogs; good falvo, BUT really hard to eat and be messy. Burgers They got a nice smash burger selections; and the one our table got was good. Alcohols! Lots of options; full bar Overall its a nice place to be at; when the weather is good. read more

Dock & Drink is a great spot to grab a drink right on the dock by Lake Washington. The views are beautiful, and they had great music, which made for a vibe atmosphere. The only downside for me was the food and the pricing. The smash burger was decent, but I thought it was a bit overpriced for what you get. We also ordered the chips and dip--the chips were good, but the guacamole was pretty mid and such a small amount. Drinks were fine though read more

I like sitting outside and enjoying the weather. The ordering process was confusing to many. People were just walking up to any area of the bar to order like you normally do at at many bars. The staff was talking behind the bar. Then people were told to go to one area to order. Staff complaining about customers going to the wrong area to order. I'm not sure how non regulars would know. It wasn't obvious. I wasn't sure if there was a server taking orders on the patio or if everything had to be ordered from that one register at the bar. read more

This place has a great view, but very poor service. At least in the bar area. The bartenders are busy yes, but they are quite aloof and seem not to care. I'll be coming back for sure as my group of friends enjoy the view and live music. The food is ok, I usually get a burger and a humus dip. Hoping a better experience on the tables where you get an actual server and don't have to go to the bar. Tip: it gets very busy, plan accordingly. read more

The Yelp page for this place led me astray. There were no oysters nor Brussels sprouts as shown on the page. This is a bar that's part of the Hyatt serving bar food: sandwiches, burgers, and hot dogs. That being said, I was quite impressed by their food. The fries were outstanding - crispy and tender with just a light touch of seasoning. Their Cali chicken sandwich was also very good - a juicy, large chicken breast on a brioche bun. They also have a good selection of beers and wines. The highlight, however, was their location, which is right by Lake Washington. The tables are self serve. They also have a couple of round sofas with a fire pit. Overall, a casual place to hang out and enjoy the view. read more

The good - Amazing views, great ambiance, strong drinks. The bad - The burger I ordered tasted like someone grilled all the flavor out of it, and then kept going just to be safe. I honestly don't understand how someone can make a burger taste that bad. Drinks are also $$$ That being said, great place to lounge and hang out with friends on a nice warm sunny day. read more

You have to order at the bar and it can be slightly hectic, especially if it's nice out because that means EVERYONE is out...which also means finding a table can be a challenge. The bar line moves pretty quickly and we were lucky to find a table- although we had to bus/clear it ourselves since the previous party left all of their trash...like lime wedges on the table, plates of food, all their cups. And I think what is most annoying is, it wasn't that much further to just do it themselves, like turn around and take 5 steps. The view can't be beat, there was a little wait which is to be expected on a summer night. We got the chopped salad, Greek salad and burger (which came with fries). The chopped salad was so good, I have decided I will return solely for that, every bite was good. The burger wasn't impressive and you'd think for $19, it would have been ($25 at Daniel's broiler and it's SO good), fries are double fried so they are extra crispy. read more

If I could give 3.5 I would. It wasn't bad, but there were some issues. Views: STUNNING. You are sitting right on the water as close as you can get to lake Washington. Vibe: casual, pick your own seat. Bring a lawn chair. Shoes, optional. Service: appeared to be non-existent? You order at the bar and hope your food comes out soon. Adding some more points though, because a kind bartender actually ran over as I was leaving and gave me a box of free French fries because he had forgotten my ketchup I asked for at the beginning of my meal. Food: pretty good all things considered. Casual bar food but tasty. Smash burgers, fries, wings. A little disappointed because we saw pictures of oysters and steak on yelp, but that wasn't actually on the menu. All things considered, it was a good time! Would I return? Maybe not? We'll see. read more

Like other people have said the stand out aspect is the view and the ambience! My husband and I went to the bar to order our drink and go sit by the water, so I can't speak to the table service or the inside. There were only a couple bartenders actually making the drinks, so we had to wait in line for a pretty decent amount of time surprisingly, but the drinks themselves were really good even if they are served in plastic cups! The menu online and printed say that the cocktails options are their fall/winter 2023 ones, so I'm not sure if they haven't released the spring ones yet or what. The ones we did have were good, and didn't seem to fall/winter specific. The One Where We Use Gin 8/10 Hendrix Hall - Autumn French 75 10/10 For the price point, the drinks are more expensive - like you would expect at a cocktail bar, but if you separate the fact that the cocktail is in a plastic cup, it is a really good cocktail! I definitely wouldn't make this a regular spot due to the price point, but it's really nice for an occasional hang after work or if you're nearby! Parking validated. When you originally sign up at the garage, it will seem like they will charge you but you just go to the bar and ask for the QR code to scan and the discount will be applied for up to two hours which is $7 worth read more

I've lived next to the Hyatt for 6 years now. First couple of years they had a wonderful inclusive menu that those with dietary allergies could still enjoy a meal by the lake. Blackbean and sweet potato tacos, chips and guac/salsa. The last four years they have decided only those who eat meat, dairy and wheat can eat there. How hard is it to have an impossible or beyond patty in the freezer? Gluten free buns do very well in the freezer too. Vegan hot dogs... same. Hotel restaurants that don't take care of all their patrons lose business because everyone has someone in their family with a allergy or ethical health belief about meat/dairy. I'm a member at the health club there and have complained to everyone about this. No use. They won't listen. read more

Awesome view and horrible service. I've made business & personal visits here for the past year. The view of Lake Washington and the parked B737 WIP is spectacular. Very old school Puget Sound visuals. However, the service is completely broken. Let me explain. They seem to be stuck in the pandemic -era service routine. Firstly, there is no table service (apparently). You have to order through your phone, while logged into their unsecured WiFi (which some Company phones inhibit). Every time I've visited, none of us have been able to process an order this way. When servers come by after waving them down typically more than two times, they usually do not return to take an order, or push us off to order at the bar or service counter. And good luck with that. The service counter treats customers like they are felons. It seems like 2020 "distance service" all over again. And it's executed horribly. It's a shame it's run like this. As far as the wine list goes, it's all canned. Beer list tiny. Food practically impossible to order and is delivered in disposable containers. Really sad. But parking is plentiful and free on the weekend. read more

The cycle continues - Dock and Drink is now in its summer mode! If you're looking for lakeside drinking this is a fabulous spot. Five star experience! The bartenders are wonderful and make amazing cocktails. Sitting by the lake whether at a table, the bar, or their new comfy patio couches with a drink in hand is true bliss. It is so nice. The live music is cool too! Weather depending they have musicians play fun sets that adds something different for North Renton. Can't beat the experience! I should have stopped there. See, the food has changed. No more sliders, tacos, fries, or any other bar food. There's teriyaki, oysters, and sushi. The first time this spring I got the sushi. It's vended sushi, prepackaged. I ordered the California roll and a nigiri package that had tuna. It was okay. The rice was unusually gummy in the California roll with a drier center than I am used to. The nigiri rice was a bit on the dry side, the fish ok. Personally I think it's between Uwajimaya prepackaged sushi and 7-11 prepackaged sushi if that's any gauge. I really love sushi, I really love Dock and Drink, so I was disappointed in the quality. I had higher expectations based on the experience I typically have at the property and envisioned at least Trapper's sushi quality but no, it wasn't. The second time I ordered the oysters because I absolutely love oysters. I haven't eaten an oyster I haven't loved and I have eaten my fair share of oysters. I was shocked to find one that I not only dislike but couldn't eat at all. Now, if you like super briney, bitter, salt water tasting oysters you will love these. They're fresh. They're local. They just weren't for me. The executive chef explained that the variety may change over time but with supply chain issues this is what they had. I am disappointed because appearances are great and I loved Dock and Drink since it was Dock and Anchor (remember those days?). I understand staffing is a huge issue as well as capacity. With events back in full swing the catering kitchen is now too busy for Dock and Drink. I don't understand why they don't just let food trucks set up on the property - a good food truck can give quality without having to worry about staffing but I bet there's logistics or permits I am unaware of. I probably will come by for the drinks but when it comes to food I will skip it for Water's Table. It's not quite what it used to be. read more

This place gets some bad reviews and I am not sure why but I have my suspicions. I hate to hate on fellow yelpers but I think they are the problem. If your expectations are not aligned with what this place is you might be disappointed. Here is the deal: This is a hotel bar in the Hyatt Regency. It is an amazing view right on a dock on Lake Washington. It's a walk up bar where you can order your drinks and then grab a seat. Lots of seating but it is open seating so sure, when it's nice out it might be crowded. You can walk, drive, boat, or come by seaplane. Yep, seaplane. Beers and cocktails are great. Not the cheapest but this is not a dive bar. I think drafts were 9 bucks. Food was fine. Good actually. Again, you just order at the bar, grab a number and they bring your food. I had a burger. It's just a burger but it was good. Let's address the issue that most reviewers seem to have and that is service. Um. It's fine. It's good even. There are no servers roaming the tables you just go up to the bar. They are friendly and they get your drink. Lines are not too long but I am sure that is different on a weekend. Two bar stations serving people with a smile. I am here for work but I will 100% be back. Not because it is convenient but because they do a good job. Cold beer, cocktails, amazing location. What's not to like? read more

What a cool spot!! I knew the Hyatt had expanded dining outdoors during COVID, but this was such a nice surprise to find a spot with plentiful outdoor seating (probably 200 seats), great vibe, good people watching, gorgeous views, & dog friendly. We visited on a Friday night. There was a musician playing through a city arts program, which added to the ambience. We got there around 5:45 and all tables with umbrellas were full, so prepare for full sun at least awhile. Ordering is all via app. They have beer, wine and cocktails. Also a cantina with a few food options, not extensive. Our initial drink order was quick and easy. We ordered a bunch of food. Chips & salsa, of course! Also, quesadilla, corn salad and ceviche. The chips were very good, thick & salty. Quesadilla was pretty good. I'm a huge ceviche fan, and I didn't love the ceviche, especially for $15. It was a small cup of whole shrimp, a couple cucumber slices, soaked in lime and jalapeño. No tomato or onion that I could see. It was basically a cup of marinated shrimp. I won't get it again. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would come again. Prices are high, but the view and atmosphere make up for it. read more

Great place for afternoon drinks with friends after work! Love that there's parking right there.

In case you were confused like me, this venue is located in Hyatt Regency. There's a parking lot (which validates for a few hours) that makes it a convenient short walk through the hotel to the outside. The venue is set up like a couple food trucks and a bar. There is seating near the bar that's covered and then outdoor seating, which is perfect for a sunny day. If you sit down to eat, you scan a QR code at the table and can see the menu and order through that. It's a great idea in theory for a contactless interaction. Key words: in theory. After struggling with the poor service, I finally placed an order through the site for food and drink. My drink arrived really quickly but my food did not. 45 minutes passed, my friend had received her food that she ordered around the same time, and I decided to ask what was going on. I was informed that the printer had run out of paper about when I had ordered so it seemed like my order hadn't gone through. The employee told me she'd put my order in immediately but that was it, in terms of an apology. Later on, I tried to order another drink via the site but I couldn't get good enough service to place the order. Rather than go stand in line at the bar, I gave up and they lost another order of mine (this time by my choice). The food and drink were pretty average priced, but nothing special in terms of flavors. It's really just a convenient and beautiful location for outdoor drinks on a nice day since it's right on the water. read more

I really don't like to write negative review these days especially knowing how hard hospitality industry are these days. I hope this can be a constructive feedback and it can be improved on in the future. A couple of my girlfriends came here yesterday on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. It was a super hot day. We grabbed our seat with an umbrella close by, knowing it is selfing seating. We cranked open the umbrella ourselves, and ordered with the QR code menu. We ordered oysters and 3 drinks. The oyster came quickly and the hostess told us our area will be close later in the evening but we can sit here for now as we still have drinks to come. We asked if we can stay just for an hour and she said yes. As we got our first sips of cocktails, another 2 employees came by and told us to leave immediately. No help was offered and we can't cancel as we just got our drinks. There were no other tables on the other side with umbrella so we sat in the sun. We then continue to open the box and tried our oysters. 5 of them were dark gray and tasted old. This place has lots of potential to be great as the view is spectacular and there's also wonderful live music. However, the communication between staffs can be better and food and drinks can be improved as well. read more

Dock and Drink - Perfect day! - Cocktail Bars Near Me - Renton, Washington

Holy cow. This is a Renton restaurant that is outside and looks at water. I was just at the upstairs bar that also looks at water yet has TV's. My vodka soda was $11. When I went down to the outside bar and got one it was $15. Why would there be a difference and who pays $15 for a vodka soda? I was shocked. Save your money and go to Waaaaaaay better places at the nearby Renton Landing. Like why would there be two different prices? Seems fraudulent. This day and age who needs to be charged $15 for a standard vodka soda. I mean I belong to a country club where it costs $7 for the same drink. Is the Hyatt struggling? If so let me know and I'll get the word out so we don't have to go there and spend $15 for one drink. Plenty of other places to sit and look at water in this area. I hope that's not what I paid for. Also. I worked in the bartending food service industry for many years and I should have known better. I dropped a $20 bill on the table and then asked for my change without looking at the bill and he brought over $5. When I asked about it he said yes one vodka Tito's was $15. I would assume he skimmed $4 off the top of what the price was and then I tipped anyway because I'm classy. Been sitting at this place for a couple years working from my laptop and this was extremely unfortunate. Be aware. On to the Landing. read more

Came here around 5pm on a Saturday and although it was busy, we were able to find a table for the 4 of us (including my dog). The line was pretty fast and so was the service. We got the salmon nigiri, unagi roll and a tuna roll, all of which were good although my husband was surprised they came in plastic boxes like at Uwajimaya. I came here for the views and mostly that. It is very expensive for what it is. I had a moscow mule and I'm pretty sure it was $15. That is outrageous. Their wines are in cans, they present them in cups but still. Of course, I always expect a bar or restaurant attached to a hotel to be more expensive but that just seemed really reaching. For that reason, I did not purchase anything more from here. You can order food from your table which is nice, but again those prices for sushi are not worth it in my opinion. I didnt find any of the staff particularly kind either, very indifferent or slightly annoyed. read more
