    Kimchi and pork belly tacos
    Sean H.

Came here on a Wednesday evening with a reservation and got greeted and seated quickly. The ambiance is very cozy and nicely decorated. I can just tell that the building has a lot of history. Our server was very friendly and good came out at a decent pace. Food was pretty good. We ordered the pork belly and kimchi tacos as our appetizers. It was very good, especially the pork belly, it had a nice smoky flavor. One complaint is they were a bit wet/drippy. We ordered the crispy pork shank as well. My favorite of everything we ate. Very crispy and juicy, not dry at all. We also got the wagyu burger. It was good, but it was also a bit wet and drippy. Also the burger was a bit too sweet with the barbecue sauce. Fries were pretty solid though. Everything came out to a little over $100 (we also ordered a limeade). Which was on the expensive side. Overall a decent experience but unsure if I'd come back.

Red House is exactly what it is - a 100+ year old red house that is a restaurant. There's a big parking lot in front so it's easy to find a spot. The ambiance of Red House is quaint and homey. Service was good and no issues. I was able to try a few items but every dish did not hit. Tequila shrimp: the shrimp wasn't too bad. They were juicy and came with garlic bread. Crispy pork shank: when the dish arrived, we knew it was overdone. It was charred. The meat was dry and tough. The risotto that the shank sat on was good but after eating a few bites, the garlic was too overpowering. Definitely would not recommend this dish at all. Wagyu burger: I liked the burger patty itself but the bacon jam really overpowered everything. The entire burger ended up being super sweet and you couldn't taste anything other than sugar. Mac and cheese (with bacon): protein is an extra cost but I added in bacon. The bacon was mixed throughout the entire dish but I couldn't really taste bacon flavor. The dish was very creamy but one note. Overall, everything was expensive and not good. Basically, every dish had one overpowering note. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back again.

Id give them an overall 4.5 We got a shrimp appetizer and then for entrees we chose rigatoni bolognese and pork shank. All the dishes seemed well composed and had great flavors. Everything was cooked nicely too. I only wish the bread would've been toasted a bit better (could've had more crunch to it), but a great experience overall. A bit on the pricey side, but the service was fantastic and it was a great spot for date night.

Chicken Schnitzel and chili crisp Fettuccini - absolutely delicious. You Can just tell food is cooked with love. We also got some churros for desert and the flavor was heavenly, not to mention the top notch service from start to finish. What a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back

First time at Red House and I'm thinking, why haven't I been here before?! We tried the pork shank and giant wedge salad both were delicious and shareable! The place had great intimate ambience and the staff were welcoming and friendly! Can't wait to go back to sit on the patio when it gets warm out!

The pork shank and orzo is absolutely delicious. So tasty! The chicken sandwich is also 5 stars. Eat out on the porch and enjoy the nice weather. Have a margarita or an ice cold beer. Dog friendly too! The service is fantastic and atmosphere is cozy and comfy!

Located right next to a parking lot so parking was super easy. They have a great outdoor patio sitting area and there was no wait time for us. We were seated immediately. The waitress gave us some recommendations which we ordered. And the food was delicious. Beef brisket was tender and flavorful and the pork shoulder with risotto was divine. The drinks were yummy too. Definitely coming back to try other meals.

Food was not very good nor worth the price. Very cute place and they are pet friendly. Would come back for fries and drink.

Truly a special place in Renton. Quiet little spaces. Good food. Easy parking. We come back a lot. And we live 39 miles north.

Good food, drinks and ambience with good service. It's a little on the pricier side though.

We kicked things off with the truffle popcorn--my go-to starter here. Light, warm, and perfectly kissed with truffle oil. Not greasy, just addictive enough to keep reaching in between sips of wine. Then we ordered the artichoke cheese dip. Warning: it arrives piping hot (our server kindly gave us the heads up). We dug in anyway and immediately learned patience is a virtue here. Once cooled, it's gooey, creamy, and totally worth the wait. And because conversations just kept flowing, we added the meatballs to the table. Hearty, flavorful, and the perfect "something more" to balance the lighter bites. Service was spot-on--attentive enough to make sure we had everything we needed but never intrusive. I also love how this spot works for so many moods: girls' night, solo bar hangs, or even patio time with pups. Overall: cozy, versatile, and always a solid pick when you want to sip, snack, and chat the night away.

As for the wine, whatever house savignon blanc they offered us was delicious. The salads were good. The pastas less so. One was a spaghetti with meatballs. The balls were good, the spaghetti was mush. The other was chicken Alfredo which tasted like a frozen meal. We also had two cakes to choose from for dessert but I didn't have any. The staff was nice and I understand it's hard to manage such a big group but they tried hard.

What a great place! Met a colleague here for lunch today. He had been here previously and told me…read morethat he favored this place because of the Spanish influenced menu. I trusted his judgment and let him order for us. We started with an order of beef empanadas. Very generous in size and three per order. We opted for the beef with one being spicy and two being more neutral. They were perfectly done and quite tasty. We had another beef entrée which was layered with marinara sauce. Interesting combination, but it worked. Delicious and very filling. Our server was very attentive and kept our glasses full and stopped by our table frequently to make sure that everything was OK. They feature live entertainment during the week and also have Trivia. Located directly next to the team store at the landing in Renton. Plenty of parking available and a great location. Highly recommend.

We went to Trenchers last night to watch the Mexico v Ecuador World Cup knock out game, thinking…read morethat with 10 tv screens around the place they are friendly for these kind of huge games. About 70% of those inside were there for the game. At just before 8:00 the Karaoke dude who runs it on Tuesdays race-walked past the tv right in front of us and SLAPPED it to face the other way - apparently so those on stage doing karaoke can see the lyrics. No words to us like "hey there - just to let you know we use this for karaoke so I'll need to shift the direction of the screen." It was like a hit and run move, and we were speechless. We asked about them using a different screen but not possible so we shifted our table to face the other screens further away. Tip for the restaurant: This is World Cup soccer - it's once every 4 years and many frequent your place to watch in community. This karaoke guy was such a rude jerk to the manager and to us, and it was the cringiest thing to try to watch a big game with karaoke BLARING out of the speakers. He's a true word class a$$ who was yelling at her (manager) and us when all he had to do was be a decent human and explain. Next time maybe put a little sign on the tv saying at 8:00 it will be used for Karaoke and to plan accordingly. I would NEVER go on Tuesday if you don't plan to marinate in the karaoke crowd - you will be in hell!!! The food was just ok, and had it not been for this terrible guy and the hideously loud speakers - we would have had a much better time - but would not have chosen this spot to watch a game, heaven forbid on a Tuesday!
