Creamy Udon with Chicken
Michelle R.

Low key vibe, casual, Asian inspired cuisine. We came in on a Tuesday night during happy hour. Lots of seating available and the staff was very friendly. We ordered appetizers and also entrées. My choice was the Creamy Udon noodles with chicken (chicken thighs). The creamy udon was so flavorful, creamy, comforting, and delicious. We also tried the HH Bulgogi Tacos. This was a very large portion, served on flour tortillas, heaping amount of bulgogi beef. Tasty! I definitely recommend. Hubs salad was filling, salmon portion was decent. Located in a strip mall, in a gas station parking lot. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Was looking for a place to eat near where we were and this place had a lot of good reviews so we decided to try it. We got seated right away but didn't get our order taken for a bit. It wasn't overly busy since it was only 5:00. Staff was friendly enough but there was probably only one server. It's was pretty dark in here and if you have bad eyesight, it was kind of hard to see the menu. I had to turn on my flashlight in order to see what I was looking at. This is a bar that serves food and the food was pretty tasty. They do happy hour Monday through Thursday 3 to 6 and had a couple of things that we tried. We did chicken tenders and fries and the calamari on the happy hour menu. We also ordered the garlic shrimp noodles and the lomo saltado along with the panang salmon curry. Everything was delicious!!

Grilled Miso Salmon Salad, Creamy Udon and Super Smash Burger

My friend and I chose to meet here for lunch after debating a couple places and oh my!!! Am I glad we did! The flavors in each dish were SUPREME! The salmon salad was incredible- the salmon cooked to perfection. The creamy udon was the creamiest of creamy sauces I've ever had. The smash burger had a couple ordering issues but once settled was well worth the wait. Do not sleep on this cozy vibe in Renton- from the fast service, the full bodied beer selection and the full-flavored dishes, you'll enjoy the experience through and through.

They have a large selection of different hot sauces.

My friend and I came here for dinner on a Saturday night. It was pretty full, so it's clearly a popular spot. The restaurant is located in a shopping center with a gas station. Parking in the front is limited, but there's additional parking in the back. Customer service was excellent -- the staff checked on us often and were very friendly. The interior has a modern rustic style, and everything was clean and inviting. We ordered the salmon salad and their most popular dish (steak, veggies, and a sunny side-up egg). The salmon salad was basically bagged lettuce with a small portion of salmon -- tasty dressing, but the portion was on the small side. The steak dish had good flavor, but the steak portion was also quite small. Their drink selection was good. They also have a large selection of hot sauces on the shelf. Overall, I think this is a great place to grab drinks and hang out with friends, but if you're coming for dinner, you might not want to arrive too hungry.

My go to here is always the creamy udon, lomo Saltado, honey siracha Brussel sprouts or the smash burger. The only reason I give it a 4stars is because I wish the protein portion size was bigger. It always is little and it's an add onto the creamy udon so I would expect there to be more protein, I've ordered it with the shrimp before too and the shrimp was great. But that's my only complaint. I've been a customer for a few years now and always like to suggest this place to others. Everything is always great. But the creamy udon, it'll always be my favorite and it's one of the best creamy udon I've had. The restaurant is always lively and filled with people though, which is great because it is truly a great restaurant. The options for the alcohol drinks is a great variety too -- so for my drinkers this is a great spot! To catch up with friends or even watch the games as I've noticed they have sport games played here. The staff is always great here too so no complaints. Thank you!

The Brick is a hidden gem in Renton for sure. I've passed by this place so many time and I never thought to come inside. The parking isn't too bad but I can definitely see it as a spot for the locals. The parking is kind of shared with other businesses and a gas station. Staff: very chill (5/5) Sanitation status: 4.5/5 Super Smash Burger with Garlic Parmesan Fries (4/5) The burger itself was really good and filling. Th patties were thin but still juicy. You could taste the char on the patties. I would definitely get it again. The garlic parm fries were a little greasy, it was shoestring fries which I like so I would opt for normal fries next time. Creamy Udon (4/5) The cream udon was really good. The flavor was really nice with the addition of mushrooms into the cream sauce. I would say that it was on the saltier side but overall a nice cream sauce for the udon.

Stopped by for a quick dinner today and it wasn't too busy on a Tuesday at 6:30 PM. We had the creamy udon and garlic noodles, highly recommend both, but the creamy udon was definitely our favorite. The cheese and sauce flavor town!! Chicken tenders with pineapple BBQ were a little sweeter than we'd have liked but still had a great ratio of chicken/breading. It also came with fries which were super crunchy. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a chill bar to go with the family, vibes were great, food was great.

Honestly what an unexpected great find! The food was totally amazing and never expected it to taste that like that! I typically don't like to eat salmon, but I could eat that every week! The ambiance of the place felt very much like you're hanging out friends and you just wanna have a chill night with them! The host sat us super quickly too which i thought it was going to take a min since it was almost packed full when we got there! Whenever you're near the landing area in Renton, check this place out because you'll be surprised with everything ;)

I live pretty close to the Brick, but haven't had a chance to try it until now. Unfortunately, I've been missing out -- the food here is amazing! I really enjoyed the creamy udon and would come back just for that. I'll definitely be back in the future, maybe to try the happy hour :)

Staff likes to stand around this area and chit chat

Food was decent, beers and cocktails also decent, but the service needs some improvement. A lot of the time I observed the staff just standing around at the bar laughing and joking with each other. I came at 5pm, the place was half filled. But after waiting 10 minutes for someone to break away from their area of congregation at the bar, I had to get up and walk over to them to ask someone if my table could order drinks, and then later on in the evening, I kept on having to wave down someone if I needed to order something or even ask for a check. Staff needs to be more attentive to their patrons instead of themselves.

This place blew my mind! Every dish I tried tasted amazing and rich in flavor. I absolutely loved the bulgogi tater tots and garlic noodles. Plenty of seating with a bar. FYI the restaurant is dim so bring your lighting for that picture.

Chicken Tenders (fish sauce) and fries
Kathy N.

Pros: I liked the happy hour food menu. The chicken tenders coated in fish sauce is a new item I hadn't seen before personally (I've had fish sauce flats before but not tenders) and thought it elevated an otherwise typically boring menu item. There's many other sauces the tenders can be coated in. Wedge salad was good too. Cons: bulgogi tots were just okay. Tots got mushy real fast so that was disappointing. My bf got the shrimp po boy but he didn't like it and said it had too much bread. The seats were very uncomfortable (confused on the "lounge" part of the name as a result). Neutral: my bf also ordered an alcoholic drink, don't remember the name but it had coffee and vodka in it. It was a pretty strong drink! The worker also gave us a sample of a new drink he was testing that was basically coffee and Mezcal and that was even stronger. It seems they are not skimping on the alcohol in the drinks here! Location is next to a gas station which surprised me (just doesn't seem like an establishment you'd find next to a gas station) Verdict: I can see myself coming here with friends to catch up once in a while. My fav item was easily the fish sauce tenders. I had high hopes for the bulgogi tots but ended up ignoring that dish the most out of everything we ordered.

i have had a few people recommend this place to me and i finally checked it out on a random weekday. first of all.. they were bumping justin bieber when we walked in. and i'm talking the hits!! my world 2.0, never say never.... it was a vibe. service was friendly, plenty of seating options and a huge space inside! we got the fish sauce wings which were 10/10.. not too sweet and soooo tasty! the calamari salad was also smaccccccc!!!! def get that one!! finally, we got the creamy udon with steak added on. the pasta was yummy and creamy, but i probably would get salmon or shrimp instead of the steak next time. also got two shots, all this came out to $120 after tip. overall, i loved this place. we will definitely be back! Food was horrible. Seemed like frozen food that was reheated. Parking is a nightmare. Good luck finding parking.

What a great place! Met a colleague here for lunch today. He had been here previously and told me…read morethat he favored this place because of the Spanish influenced menu. I trusted his judgment and let him order for us. We started with an order of beef empanadas. Very generous in size and three per order. We opted for the beef with one being spicy and two being more neutral. They were perfectly done and quite tasty. We had another beef entrée which was layered with marinara sauce. Interesting combination, but it worked. Delicious and very filling. Our server was very attentive and kept our glasses full and stopped by our table frequently to make sure that everything was OK. They feature live entertainment during the week and also have Trivia. Located directly next to the team store at the landing in Renton. Plenty of parking available and a great location. Highly recommend.

We went to Trenchers last night to watch the Mexico v Ecuador World Cup knock out game, thinking…read morethat with 10 tv screens around the place they are friendly for these kind of huge games. About 70% of those inside were there for the game. At just before 8:00 the Karaoke dude who runs it on Tuesdays race-walked past the tv right in front of us and SLAPPED it to face the other way - apparently so those on stage doing karaoke can see the lyrics. No words to us like "hey there - just to let you know we use this for karaoke so I'll need to shift the direction of the screen." It was like a hit and run move, and we were speechless. We asked about them using a different screen but not possible so we shifted our table to face the other screens further away. Tip for the restaurant: This is World Cup soccer - it's once every 4 years and many frequent your place to watch in community. This karaoke guy was such a rude jerk to the manager and to us, and it was the cringiest thing to try to watch a big game with karaoke BLARING out of the speakers. He's a true word class a$$ who was yelling at her (manager) and us when all he had to do was be a decent human and explain. Next time maybe put a little sign on the tv saying at 8:00 it will be used for Karaoke and to plan accordingly. I would NEVER go on Tuesday if you don't plan to marinate in the karaoke crowd - you will be in hell!!! The food was just ok, and had it not been for this terrible guy and the hideously loud speakers - we would have had a much better time - but would not have chosen this spot to watch a game, heaven forbid on a Tuesday!
