We went today right when they opened and the bartender was so kind and patient. He put on the football game for us and then we tried a few samples before we made our drink choice. I got the blackberry sage cider and it was delicious! I'm not much of a drinker and this was light and refreshing. My husband ordered the cold IPA and he also enjoyed it. The environment looks really chill. I would like to stop by later in the day and check it out during the evening. I'm sure it gets crowded. Def will come back next time we are in Renton. read more

This was a really cool spot to hangout and have some drinks! The bartender was very knowledgeable and made great suggestions based on what we normally drink. They had music, TVs, and everything branded to buy. They had tons of different drinks to try and they were making hot dogs. They even have a pizza night with homemade pizzas. I ended up going with a flight to try a variety since I'm not a huge beer drinker. I enjoyed them all and would have enjoyed a full pour of any of them. We will definitely be back. read more

Dubtown Brewing Company, located in downtown Renton, is dog friendly (inside and out) and kid friendly. It is also encouraged for you to bring your own food, although they do sell hot dogs, bratwurst and beef jerky (I wouldn't recommend the beef jerky because it is incredibly salty). I decided to meet up some friends (who have dogs) at this brewery since they are dog friendly and roughly halfway between Seattle and the suburbs where my friends live. Dubtown Brewing Company is located on a corner with some outdoor seating and heat lamps and parking is available in the public lots (free parking) across the street and the next street over). My husband, our little girl dog and I came by a little after noon last Saturday. Our friends were late so my husband ended up getting a beer (The Main Street, $7, which I thought was okay but my husband liked it) while we waited. We moved the two tables that were closest to the door for our group (as the employee behind the counter had told us that we were allowed to). Our group was here for about 3 hours, most ordered brats, jerky and beer. The employee behind the counter was very kind to check up on us and even took drink orders table side, which was very nice of her since that isn't the usual for most breweries that I have been to (and I have gone to many since most are typically dog friendly). Overall, we had a great time visiting our friends and having a nice doggy play date. The restrooms were clean and we had no trouble with eating the food that we brought for our friends. I came for the first time with a friend yesterday to try some of their beers. Dubtown is conveniently located in downtown Renton and in easy distance of all the restaurants and shopping, it was nice to have a beer break! I loved how clean it was and their sense of personal style-the environment is relaxed and chill. I was delighted to hear that they offered flights-perfect for a first timer. I chose three and had the waitress choose a random beer for me. The Renton Red Hot sure packs a spicy punch-and it works so well in this beer. It isn't too sweet and it has great heat. What a wild card! Blades of Glory (aka BOG)-this was a traditional kolsch. Nice and light! I loved the Renton Red the most-I do love an amber ale, and this one was well rounded. I could drink this all day. Main Street (this was chosen for me) also a nice and light beer. All in all, I loved the experience of the flight and typically will choose that way of drinking beer when I can. In terms of what I would get a pint of any of these any day, although the Red Hot is dependent of mood :) this is a great place to kick back, relax and unwind. read more

Dubtown is an excellent addition to Downtown Renton! There isn't a beer I haven't liked and they make soda as well! The inside is very clean and inviting and the service is absolutely lovely. For food they have selection of brats. They also partner with Liberty Café and you can get food delivered from them directly, or you can just bring whatever in from another place - perfect for groups since everyone can get exactly what they want! Children allowed inside. Probably not dogs, though they have an outside area that should accommodate. Super easy parking, free city lot right across the street. I'm glad I discovered this place the other day. I love beer and I love drinking beer from people who are passionate about what they create. A short discussion with the brewer and I could tell that he enjoys his trade and works with his heart. I love the creative twists he has applied to styles of beer that fall into the same flavor profiles time and time again. A pale ale with lactose in it (named Corporate Booty XD) and an IPA with hibiscus (P.F.U.D.O.R.) Love it! Great brewery located in the downtown area of Renton. Cool laid back vibe on a late Sunday afternoon, seating inside and out, plenty shady in the afternoon, made it very relaxing to enjoy a few beers with a nice breeze going on. The man behind the counter was great! Very friendly and well informed about the beer, was on top of getting brews out as there was a steady stream of customers. I started off with the Mainstreet Pale Ale, a solid brew, very mild, not over hoppy, similar to Sierra Nevada PA, very crisp and thirst quenching, a good choice for anyone. After working a booth at a nearby park all day , it went down fast and smooth. I decided to go a little more hoppy with my next choice with their Low Ride IPA, this one is definitely more hoppy, all old school NW hops.. a solid IPA, a bit piney with the Cascade and Chinook hops, great summer time beer, good enough to take a four pack home. Dog friendly inside and out, choices of tables or bar style seating, definitely a friendly vibe to bring you back again. They have a good selection of their beers to go or in growlers. The man pouring was on it getting beers out and making sure your glass wasn't empty before asking for another. What a lovely gem in downtown Renton. Small place with great beer, and that is nothing compared to the bartender. Didn't sit at the bar to chat, but good night was he just a breath of fresh air. Non pretentious, and just emanated a good and happy vibe. My husband agreed as well. Even if you aren't into auras, this man will make you feel like you belong and emanates happiness. Per usual I couldn't make up my mind, so he helped me pick out a flight, then I got a pint of my fav of the 4. We both liked their hazy IPA and their lager. Table behind us got some food which smelled good, but we didn't try. Bathrooms were clean and even though I don't have a kiddo in diapers, to having a changing table! This place is pretty cool. Nothing pretentious, just a small, very relaxed place. From the second you walk in, you can tell it's a neighborhood place. I got ID'd at the door by someone's dog who just wanted a few scratches of the ears. That was a cool start. Staff was one very nice lady who was both attentive, but also not obtrusive. She'd talk with everyone and seemed to know everyone which was cool. Atmosphere was semi brewery, semi living room and very comfortable even sitting at the bar. I tried the Pilsner, Kolsch, and IPA, and all 3 were delicious. The pils was nice and crisp, the Kolsch was soft, malty, with a hint of fruit, and the IPA (west coast), was just earthy enough to leave a nice after taste, with nice hints of hops. I'm a big hop lover so the more bitter the better, and while this wasn't over the top bitter, it had just enough to be enjoyable. Managed to get one of their workshirts which are over the top amazing. All in all, a great experience and hopefully someday I will be back. read more

Dubtown was a brewery that has fallen under that criteria so as soon as I discovered it's existence I cleared away a portion of a weekend to pay a visit! So much soul! All the beers have crazy, cool names. And not one of them disappoints! Deliciously unique flavors. For example: I'm a cider girl myself...and most "Hard Apple Ciders" tend to taste the same. NOT THIS PLACE! Their hard apple cider was not only 9.0abv (or whatever the abbreviation is for alcohol content) but also extremely tasty! Kinda like a Smokey flavor...yum! Not to forget the guy behind the whole operation for the night: Our bartender!! He basically made this place 5 stars. He was incredibly nice, and genuinely good at his job. Great new brewery located on the corner, with a 4 hour free parking lot just across Main Street. Very friendly staff with an open and airy vibe. Kids and dogs are welcome, with two of the tables having video game systems (Nintendo) hooked up to small TVs, which was a big hit with the kids. They only serve chips for food, which is common for breweries around here. You can also bring in food or have it delivered. They do have food menus from various delivery places nearby, at least one of which will deliver to the brewery for free (Taqueria El Gym). They also have two TVs behind the bar, where they had a playoff NFL game playing in the background. I was happy that they also had the volume on, which meant I could enjoy the game while my kids played Nintendo. In terms of the beer, I got the Pale Ale that was a bit higher in ABV than their two IPAs. They also had a non-alcoholic fruity soda water made in-house that was also very tasty. read more

Dubtown is my favorite downtown Renton brew house, and if you don't believe me, just observe the crowds that continue to gather here for grower fills and pints galore. They also feature a beer club, which comes with its own perks, including another black hoodie to add to your PNW wardrobe. If you are a regular you can easily find an opportunity to pull in for a pint while you read up on anxiety inducing news, or get to know the locals who are all there for their love of beer and/or whatever sports game is on at the time. They do have limited food options, but you can still bring in your own food if you're meeting friends for a long visit and an opportunity of sampling their ever rotating tap list. The art here is heavily inflicted by VW, so if you're into that sort of thing, at least visit for one of their many artistic clothing items. Pretty sure their shirts make the beer taste better, but I have figured that out yet. Great crew working here. Another example of why Renton is a rad little town worthy of more praise and why Washington continues to be a craft beer paradise. read more

A new brewery down south! Yay! Parking is plentiful. There is a parking lot across the street and some street parking. Located conveniently in the heart of dt renton, next to berliner. It was my first time here. I really liked the set up of the place. Big open windows, bar top, and plenty of seating. The beertender offered if I would like to try some samples and even recommended his personal favorites. I chose the rosecco (larger size) it was my Friday! It was tangy and refreshing.
