It's a good sized lot, but they can also hold a lot of people and the interior configuration works well for a bar. There are a lot of regular, but they seem more like out of a bar scene from an episode of the Simpsons - they seem jovial, friendly, and like they've been there awhile - all good traits in sports bar patrons! Cool little spot. They have 2 pool tables for use! A juke box or music that you can play so the mood can be swayed lol. So a few things about this place the food is pretty good but We came in one night to play pool and just grab a little snack. The kitchen had already stopped serving food? Hmmm well that was a bummer. I really like the staff here. Most of the ladies are super sweet here! I really would give more stars but closing the kitchen early at a bar is just crazy. If you have people drinking your supposed to offer food as well! Just a reminder don't come to late if you'd like to try some food. They have bacon wrapped mozzarella sticks/ balls I've heard about. I ordered a prime rib dip and coleslaw. Simply awful. The meat was overcooked and chewy not the way you would expect prime rib to be. It tasted like bad pork loin. The coleslaw was not creamy and only had cabbage and carrot. Better than the sandwich but still not good. I wish it was creamy and had red cabbage. The staff was so busy dealing with pull tabs, regulars, and the multiple remote controls changing channels. They never asked me how everything was or how the food was. Very disappointing. read more

I met a few friends for girls night out. It was our first time here, and most of us live anywhere from 20-25 mins away. We heard about Christy's steak night on Thursday nights, so we decided to support this woman owned small business. We are not drinkers, but we enjoy good food. At first we were thinking looks like a sketchy neighborhood, but hey why not! As we entered it was truly a bar atmosphere. Since we were there early there were plenty of seats, after a while the place became full. Our servers were friendly, and checked in on us periodically. Because everything on the menu looked good, my friends decided to try other things on the menu. So I was the only one who got the steak special. I got the rib eye smothered with grilled onions and mushrooms with the loaded baked potato. It was humongous that I took more than half home. The gals told me that what they ordered were also delish. I'm sure I have traveled Sunset Blvd a 1000 times over the decades I've lived in the area, however, I travel the stretch that extends directly above the 405 exit. I had no idea that this establishment even exited as I never traveled this portion of Sunset and honestly find it silly that the road takes such a radical change. Reviews are positive and photos looked promising. Honestly, I was torn, I really like a good breakfast, but many of the daily specials looked tasty. I decided to pass on breakfast and came in on Monday for the burger special. I want to be clear, a hand smashed burger with fries for $9 is a deal, however, I didn't care for either. The burger was dry, there couldn't have been more than a drip of mayo on the burger. Truth be told, if they took a minute to craft a signature burger sauce, this burger might draw a crowd, it also would have benefitted from some pickles. Instead, it was just dry and sad. The burger also came with seasoned/coated fries. Yes, they get super crispy, but they don't taste like potato, they taste like a carnival snack. Nothing beats a crinkle cut fry, if you don't hand slice your own. 100% unhappy with that meal. After seeing the cook appeared to be Latino or possibly Hispanic, I decided to return for Taco Tuesday. I had a couple tacos and at $3 each, it was a decent deal. However, I didn't care for either again. I had one ground beef and one chicken. The flavor was nothing special, matter of fact it tasted like cafateria food. A tiny side of salsa was served. It had a little kick, but just didn't live up to what I expected from a Hispanic cook. Popped in to watch Football on a Sunday morning before the kickoff of the first game. Friendly staff, good basic Bloody Mary scratch made one at a time by Kyla the bartender. Breakfast of bacon and eggs over medium w/ cubed potatoes and biscuits and gravy was served quick and cooked right. The sausage gravy here is really tasty and fresh from scratch. Top notch breakfast! My Spouse and I found this place a little after lockdown. We noticed some remodeling and promised we would check it out. In early February we went in for lunch. Found that Ribeye was the special. A friend of mine has raved about the wings at this place for the last 6 months; so last night we decided to try it out. When ever I go to a new spot I look at the menu and see the prices. So to my shock, this place is charging for their food as if it was a restaurant. It being a bar, u would think pricing would be less but I digress. There were three of us; I ordered the prime rib sandwich w/Au Jus and one order of wings; my relative ordered the cheese steak, and my friend ordered 8 wings. The wings were 4 for $4; with that kind of deal, I was thinking like 2-4 orders would be needed since I assumed they were small; to my surprise, the wings were abnormally HUGE. Wings should never be that big! It looks like the chicken they order is pumped with water before they get it and serve to the ppl. The ranch was watery. We got the dry rub for the wings but mannn when I tell you the chicken itself was not appealing, is an understatement (out of 4 wings I ate 2). My Prime Rib sandwich was as plain as it could be. Oh, the fries were bland; like how are fries disappointing! I had to put salt, pepper, and even A1 sauce on the sandwich to give it life. The Au Jus itself was bland; I promise you it tasted like it's literally some powder they have in the back. Now to the kicker, the "Philly Cheese Steak" my cousin ordered was the disappointment of the night. Question, when have you ever ordered a cheese steak WITHOUT the meat being shaved??? The meat literally came out in strips sitting in a bun. When the guy came out with the food (not going to call him a chef) , and placed the food down we instantly could tell the meat was unseasoned, rushed, and that sandwich was going to be nasty. And guess what, NASTY AF! Literally the meat tasted like nothing. Have you ever ate meat and it tasted like nothing. SMH. We ate the food just for substance since we didn't eat for a few hours....The lady who served us was nice, great demeanor, and was inviting. The cook on the other hand, had an attitude. That's prolly why the food tasted as bad as it did; he prolly didn't put love and care into making the food. I make reviews for places who go above and beyond snd to places who's food sucks. I work hard for my money and I can cook too so when I have to pay restaurant prices as if I'm in downtown, and not dive bar pricing and to top it off it's not good, I will have to be honest and write a review. Christy bought the place just before Covid came around, and it was closed twice since because of State rules. Her luck couldn't have been worse. We admire Christy a great deal, because of her resiliency. She refused to give up. In addition, she invested a lot to make sure that Covid restrictions are strictly followed and everyone feels safe. As a result, her business is recovering and we hope that this wonderful woman is blessed by huge rewards in the future.
