I don't know if we had an off day or if they changed the cook but it does not taste like it used to, comparing it to a couple years ago. It use to be really good back then! Pros: price and portions Cons: I flavor is off. We ordered 2 egg rolls, 2 spring rolls, 2 large #14 pho, R3, chicken chow mein, and shrimp fried rice. The brother for the phò was not that great but portion was big. Egg rolls didn't taste that great. Spring rolls were okay but the peanut sauce was watery. Chow mein was sweet and flavor was lacking, same with the fried rice but portion size was great. A lot of bang for your buck. Unfortunately the food flavors just weren't there. read more

This place is such a great find! I'm only disappointed we didn't find it sooner. The owner & their kids take pride in their restaurant & it shows in the love they pour into their food. I've ordered their pho & banh mi several times; it never misses! The small pho feels like a large. The meat to noodle ratio is perfect. Halfway through eating I feel like I hardly made a dent. My wife and I have been regulars at Pho World for years, and I cannot believe I have not written a review about them yet. The pho is good, like seriously good. But what I really like is the consistency. We have been going here for years, and the pho tastes exactly the same as it did the last time I got it. The owner is also the chef, server, and works the register. He is super friendly and knows us by name now. The pho broth is delicious, very savory with just a hint of sweetness. I have never had cloudy pho broth here and the meats are always tender and are high quality. The spring rolls are handmade and tasty with the peanut dipping sauce. Occasionally, I'll order a Banh Mi which are loaded with grilled chicken and taste great. Up until recently, a large pho was $12 and change. Now I think its around $13-$14, which is still a good deal for the quality. The restaurant is located in a strip mall right next to Fred Meyer and the interior is pretty plain and dull, but come on, you're here for the soup not for the ambience. I couldn't recommend this place enough, give them a try! read more

We love a review update.... Especially when it's an update to 5 stars! Reading my last review shows me that Pho World has either really upped their game, or maybe got a new team? Not sure, but the experience I had today was great. After a long weekend I was feeling a little rough and pho sounded like the cure. I got a bowl of brisket pho alongside a couple of egg rolls. The pho was absolutely delicious - amazing broth, and the brisket was perfect. Very tender, flavorful, and no fatty cuts. Note that the egg rolls are huuuge. I got two thinking they'd be small, but they were massive and I was only able to eat one. Service was great, the older gentleman was super kind. The restaurant itself is basically just like an other Vietnamese spot. Cute and casual and clean. Definitely a solid spot for pho if you're craving it! read more

Food was bad. I ordered the grilled pork chops and was served leather. Service was lacking, almost non-existent. No follow up to see how my meal was. Had to the flag one of the workers for a to go container. When I went to pay, my card was swiped, and my receipt was tossed as the worker walked off. Never going back. read more

On top of the food being delicious the people here are fantastic and so kind! It's Xmas eve and me and my daughter are both sick. All she wanted was pho so I ordered via DoorDash and sent my husband to pick up. They had closed early (holiday hrs) but still opened the doors and made my order. We were down in Renton on some business and stopped by this place thinking it was all about pho, but I was pleasantly surprised. The menu's got a lot more to offer! We went for the chicken and veggie noodle stir-fry and the chicken and egg roll vermicelli salad, and both were spot on - and had very generous portion sizes. The owner's a genuinely friendly guy, and it's clear this place has its regulars. Just watching the steady stream of takeout orders, you can tell people love coming back. Definitely a must-visit if you're in the mood for some quality dishes and a warm atmosphere. Could the place have been a little cleaner? I've been coming here on and off for over five years. New owners a couple plus years ago. Today, the ambiance showed only three tables in the restaurant. Usually they are busy. I guess tonight is slow. The steamed gyoza was actually not bad. Then I tried Menu #11. Small size pho soup with the three different meats in it. It was okay. I was not fond of the meatballs this time around. It tasted funny. Once I had the funny taste in my mouth, I stopped eating. So never finished my soup. I wanted to order a bubble tea, but the bad aftertaste ruined it. Three stars today from me. Oh well. read more

Amazing service and amazing food! This place was open later compared to other pho restaurants and we really wanted some pho. We didn't have high expectations for good Asian and Mexican food in Washington, since we come from the bay where there is more diversity. But we were surprised and we absolutely loved our meals! Ordered #14 to go and was told that tendon was unavailable, before I suggested to replace extra brisket for tendon they hung up. When I prepared my bowl of soup, 1 - I did not request any meat balls which tastes rotten and 2 - onto my second serving, the minute I ate tripe, I knew and felt that something wasn't edible and fished out what I was chewing on. It happened to be a long strip of plastic that was as transparent as tripe. (As seen in photos) This restaurant deserves no stars and must be very precise when handling food. Consistent! Consistency can be hard to come by at Pho spots, especially with the broth specifically. This place always comes correct never had a bad bowl. The older man who's always there when I go is just so nice and welcoming. The Fred Meyers next door is where we do our grocery shopping. I used to dine here when I was younger, I stopped in after work and thought I could grab a quick bite to eat. I ordered the P12 and the fried chicken wings. When the chicken wings came out I ate two smaller wings and they were fine, just basic chicken wings, when I started eating the drumsticks, they were cold in the center. I figured it would be okay since they were probably just microwaved but on the 4th wing (out of 12-15 wings which is a very large portion) it was ice cold and the meat was pink. I then let the guy at the front know that some of the wings were cold and undercooked so I didn't want to finish them. I'm too afraid to send back food so I never say anything and I try to be as polite as I can. (I do appreciate that he took it off the bill at the end even though I never asked since I did order it) He then proceeded to come out with a glove and destroyed all the wings in his hand in front me, telling me I should never order these again because it's the style of the wing (raw and cold I guess) and that all of the ones in his hand were warm. I've never seen someone squeeze 8+ wings in his hand in front of me while I was eating my pho. As I was eating he stayed around the table cleaning up in the general area and again kept telling me don't order those wings because it's a different style and tons of customers return them due to that fact. I wish I could give a 0 star rating for the whole interaction that occurred. The Pho broth was good, the meat was delicious except for the block of frozen tendon which tasted a little funny placed in my semi warm pho. I just ate around it and after the chicken wing incident I just wanted to get out of there ASAP. read more

Every now and then, my family and I would order from here - usually for pick up. Over the years, we have never had a bad experience; not too pricey, great portions, and always flavorful broth. ...until, now. The broth was unbelievably too salty. One of the orders was a chicken pho, which they used breast meat. The chicken was shredded into chunks and was so rubbery dry; it was horrible. I'm now faced with the dilemma of "what should I do?". Do I call the restaurant and kindly advise them that im not satisfied? Do I just fix the broth and salvage what I can? Or just write my review? It's highly unlikely the owners will see this, and if I did call, it's highly likely I would get the "click". Oh well what's done is done. This was my experience. Just gotta chalk it up as another place that we won't order from for a while. read more

Finding a favorite pho place can be tedious with so many around town. However, after finding Pho World last year, we haven't needed to try any other place. Pho World has been amazing through Uber Eats and in person with their friendly customer service, fast and timely food preparation, and delectable pho brisket and gyoza. We both order and love their pho brisket and gyoza. Despite a few past reviews, the pho and gyoza has always gone above our expectations. The pho is flavorful, stuffed with brisket and lots of toppings, (basil, sprouts, ect.) for us to pick from. Note, when we've ordered through Uber Eats the noodles do come stuck together. This is expected from the wait and delivery times. To combat this, me and my husband let them soak for a moment in the broth and carefully shake the noodles, so as not to spill, with chopsticks until they slowly come apart. The only possible con I can think of is the gyoza sauce; it can be too thick sometimes for my liking. Not much a con when it still tastes great. Their food has always been delicious, even on the second and third day. We'll continue to order their food, and highly recommend giving them a try! read more

Pho world's pho is pretty good in person. The broth is flavorful and the meat portions are generous. I do recommend eating here in person. I found the takeout option is less satisfying however. Their meatballs have a strange flavor if you wait to eat them the next day. Also their noodles stay clumped together no matter how long I warm them in the broth. This forces me to shred the noodles to eat them I often buy several servings of pho to eat over a week and I found this restaurant just isn't as good the next few days for takeout. read more

Was craving something warm and soupy which brought me to Pho World. Pho is definitely one of my comfort foods, so I do have pretty high standards. Pho was delivered piping hot just the way I like it. Mixing it around, I found an ample amount of protein and a lot of noodles. Perfect. But upon first taste, I found the broth to be lacking. It seemed watered down and lacking in flavor. I added my go-to lime and basil leaves, but it still didn't reach its peak. That said, for the price paid, it still did its job of providing me with a nice, hot meal to warm my belly on a cooler than average night. read more

Worst customer service. The man at the front dropped off menus at our table and I let him know that we knew what we'd like and was ready to order. (I've taken my grandpa here a few times time after dr appointments, we order the same thing at every pho place) Without even looking at me he said you have to wait. Not sure for what because there was only one other person in the restaurant still looking at the menu.. he proceeded to walk to the back and then back out to the other table and took their order. After taking their order he went to a dirty table and cleaned it off and walked to the back. While he was back there I could hear him talking crap about how we were ready to order as soon as we walked though the door. Little did he know I knew Vietnamese and heard everything that he said.
