The broth is so delicious, I only add basil and bean sprouts. Would recommend. My cousins were craving pho and this is their go-to place while in the area. The place is small but comfortable. I live in Seattle and rarely eat pho in federal way. I happen to be in the area and tried this place out and instantly notice they don't use beef bones to make their soup but they use chicken. Lots of MSG too. It's called VIETNAMESE NOODLE SOUP. Use beef bones for the soup! I'm almost embarrassed to be Vietnamese when I see businesses doing shady things like this to trick Americans . This is one of the few Vietnamese restaurants my parents love eating at especially for their bun bo hue, so I took two of my friends to have some dinner here! We went on a Saturday night and got seated very quickly as there weren't a lot of people. There's ample parking just behind the restaurant though it isn't immediately obvious where to turn into. The inside consists of one room full of tables that sit anywhere from 2 to 8+ people. I ordered the tomahawk pho, which has several pieces of boned beef briskets among other things. Te bowl was HUGE as it should be since the briskets are already very big. Very rich quality and very rich soup for my pho, and the beef came off very easily from the bone while not being too chewy or too hard. I also ordered a side of egg rolls, which came out hot and fresh. I didn't try their bun bo hue here, but I might when I come back! Federal Way is more know for their Korean restaurants, but this is one Vietnamese restaurant I'd highly recommend in the same area if you want some great pho that's not only fast but also well-balanced in flavor! read more

I liked the egg rolls and pho although I tried to heat up when I got home and might have over boil the broth but that was my fault. The egg rolls was good and the tofu with garlic was just okay. Also, $7 for 2 is the best deal I've seen so far, especially since it is fresh and made to order. Peanut sauce was solid. I tried the spicy pho and it was good, the spice definitely adds a touch of flavor I didn't know I needed (and there's levels)! such a well rounded vietnamese restaurant! i grew up going here and it has stayed true to authentic cuisine and great quality :) the vietnamese aunties in the kitchen truly know what they're doing and put so much love and effort which shows. the interior is a nice welcoming orange with such a lived in feel that you are immediately comforted when you step in. the bun bo hue is so flavorful and a dish that is hard to find made well in a restaurant. they also do not skimp with the serving of veggies and meat even with a small bowl as they filled me up to the brim. the che tai and ca phe muoi were great and things i would order again. the staff are so friendly in serving you and are so attentive. read more

I just recently decided to give this place another chance. After 4/5 times of the beef broth being mid after years of being yummy I came back and !!!! It's so good again. I have ordered from this restaurant through DoorDash and have dined in a few times so I will speak on my experience for both. I can say that the consistency for togo orders and dine in is pretty good but it definitely is better to dine in as you get more in quantity. I have ordered the combination pho, pork and shrimp vermicelli bowl, and pho burrito which have all been delicious. As for dining in, my boyfriend and I have come here and we both usually get the combination pho large and I'll usually add an order of their fresh rolls. Again, their food here is very delightful and filling! The inside is pretty big with several tables that can seat any size party as there was a huge table put together for a family or friends of a baseball team with their kiddos. The service is generally friendly and they seem to stop by when they can but if they feel overwhelmed or take out orders and dine in customers are pouring then it can also take them a second to stop by. My boyfriend and I needed our waters refilled but they never really came to our corner of the restaurant so unfortunately we couldn't flag her down and only told her if we could get a refill when we went up to their register to pay. I ordered the vegetarian pho with vegetable broth and the tofu fresh rolls to go. When I went in, it was so busy and I think all the tables were taken. (Sunday afternoon) First off--The broth!! The vegetable broth was so flavorful I was shocked! I'm used to bland, lightly flavored vegetable broth so I had my hoisin and sriracha ready. I DID NOT ADD ANYTHING, it was that good. The fresh rolls were great as well. The tofu is fried slightly so it has some chew and the sauce that comes with it is sorta peanutty...I'm not sure exactly what's in it but it doesn't taste like the one I make with peanut butter, red curry, soy and brown sugar. I'm always in Federal Way an I never get the chance to eat here, but I always see how full it is. I am super disappointed in myself that it took me this long - LOL! They have a lot more options here than they do other locations that I've been to in Seattle. I got the Oxtail Pho and everything about this dish was super flavorful and tender.
