Came to this place because my husband works near by. All I can say is if you guys want authentic Vietnamese pho then come here. The broth is very good and the meat is tender. It's a mother daughter shop so you will see only 2-3 people's helping. The only weird thing for me is you will have to order and pay first, definitely different than other restaurants. We ordered a Combination Pho, 2 orders of Spring Rolls and a Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Tapioca. Placed our order and paid at the counter before finding a table to sit at. After about 10 mins, our server came with the Spring Rolls and Bubble Tea. Then a few mins later, the Pho Soup was brought out. This place is GROSS. I eat a LOT of pho. This broth was not good. It had an off-ness and a non-pho smell. The woman was on the phone with her friend the whole time and EVERYTHING WAS STICKY. The table, the booth, the hoisin bottle, the chili oil container. GROSS. Then the guy came out bad mouthing all other pho restaurants saying they're "too expensive" and that they were there first. First of all, that's wrong, they're pretty average priced for pho (and I'm pretty sure the portion was smaller). Like I said, I eat it a lot. I wouldn't recommend it. The broth lacked flavor, and the steak was very tough and hard to chew. I couldn't even finish my steak pho.

Remember to order AND pay AT THE REGISTER. You can sit down after. This is the rule of the restaurant. I didn't mind because I thought it was convenient since after we finished eating, we'd leave right away instead of having to wait for the check. The pho was good. The price is good in my opinion. This review was To Go: My husband picked up food for dinner, needing something near home. Usually we go to Covington since we are in the area when out for Costco and Fred Meyers. I would never thought of getting Vietnamese food on this area because it's not as abundant as Renton or Seattle. My husband made the right choice getting food from here. He ordered from a screen which was uncommon. He orders spring rolls, egg rolls, grilled ribs, grilled pork, and fried chicken rice plates. The ribs were marinated perfectly, the chicken was fried to crisp. The ride plates came with 2 scoops of Rice and a side of pickled radish and carrots. It was my first time ordering from them, but I give them a 5/5 for their service alone. I originally ordered an oxtail pho, shrimp fresh rolls, and a banh mi. However, while they were processing my order, they called to let me know that they were out of the banh mi and asked if I wanted to replace it with anything. I just asked to remove it. When my order was delivered, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they offered me some complimentary shrimp spring rolls! It was such a nice, classy touch and unexpected treat. The food itself was quite good. The shrimp fresh rolls were stuffed with lettuce, noodles, and shrimp. The shrimp spring roll was fried perfectly and bursting with whole shrimps. Unlike most places where it's just a few measly stuffing, their spring rolls were abundant. As for the oxtail pho, they gave us a generous amount of oxtail-- like 4 big pieces. The broth was rich, flavorful, and had a good mouthfeel. My only complaint was that the oxtail wasn't as tender as I'd prefer, but it was still very delicious. I highly recommend Pho Time for anyone seeking pho in the S. King County area. They're a small mom 'n pop who clearly care and are doing their best in these crazy times. Cute family-owned longtime business. Girlfriend and I tried the Brisket Pho and Oxtail Pho. Food was bomb. High quality meat and broth and it shows in the taste. Portions to satisfy even the hungriest of customers (aka me) The owner was very friendly (had a great energy to him) and came and talked with us for a bit, telling us their story. We have eaten here many times and have had to explain that we have a shellfish allergy. With our latest (and final) order, they messed up our vegetarian spring rolls, instead giving us shrimp after repeated reminders not to include any shellfish. They do not understand English very well and I would warn others that, even if your situation is not as severe as ours, I cannot guarantee that any part of your order will be correct. Absolutely amazing! My brother and I stumbled on this gem back a fee months back. On a return trip to the area from Virginia. I made sure to find this place again. I had to dig up the name out of an old CC statement. Well, this time was as we remembered it. I have had pho all over the country. This is by far the BEST pho I ever had. The first time we came here with my family it was great, this time the food was good but the place really needs to get clean. The light fixture full of dust. I was scared that it was going to fall in to my food if it moved. The bathroom didn't have any toilet paper, the sink was all wet there was paper towels just hanging out of the trash bin. When we went to go sit, all of the tables had some kind of food that wasn't wipe off all the way. The floors looked like they haven't been clean. Alright, as promised in my first review, I said I would come back for pho and I did but I wasn't insanely impressed. It was good, don't get me wrong! And the service is still amazing, but I have a couple problems with the cleanliness. I looked to my left and saw forks out (very thoughtful!) but there was a big chunk of dried green onion stuck between a couple forks... Uhhhh let's not. There were a couple fruit flies chillin near our table. Landed on my plate of sprouts... I don't know man. The spouts were okay. I'm kind of picky about fresh veggies and I can't stand wilted/brown sprouts and they were nearing that stage. My bf got the fried chicken plate and he didn't feel the amount of chicken they give you was worth $7. The food taste? Still really good! Great flavors in the broth, nice and hot soup, the chicken was cooked great! Very moist, good flavors on the outside (a little charred). And they have one of the best service I've ever experienced at vietnamese restaurants. The cleanliness was the only thing that worried me and I can't shake it. I feel as though I wouldn't make the effort to drive out here for a bowl of pho on any normal day but I know I'd definitely come down for a banh mi and bubble tea! This place is terrible. The food is fine, but it doesn't compare to any Pho place in the area. The service is terrible, especially if you order ahead for takeout. They act like they're taking your order over the phone, like they'll be preparing it while you're on your way, but they're not! The first time I thought it might have been a mistake, but it's been 3 times now that I've called in my order and they didn't bother to start making it until I got there. Which meant I had to sit there for 10 minutes while they make the food I ordered 20 minutes ago. So frustrating, I won't be going back. read more

Pho-Time - The review is mainly on the illegal tip writing on my receipt. I ordered a large Pho and and 2 egg rolls. The pho was good, no complaints, the egg rolls were just average and no carrots as garnish and the sauce that it came with was the bottled sweet and sour sauce, not the sweet fish sauce, which I like. I normally don't go to this Pho place, as there are other Pho places, I am accustomed to, I thought I would give this place a try, since I workout all the time next door at 24hr Fitness. This was my protein after working out. J/K Anyhow, my bill came out to $14.02 and this was for a carryout order. This was last Wednesday, I'm doing a reconciliation of my credit card and notice the charge is $16.02 online. I did not write in a $2.00 tip, I know this is a small amount, but this really bothers me as far as principal is concerned. I'm probably sounding really cheap, but I'm sure this would bother most everyone else. Because of this, I'm not going back to this place anymore, make sure you check your credit card statements, if your eating there. I've never had this issue, I'm pretty OCD about things, because of this, I will always triple check my receipts now and make sure they match on my credit card statement. Update: I called the resto up, they said the 14 looked like a 16, apparently 14 plus 0 is 16 according to them. They offered me 2 dollars off my next meal. friendly owners - there seems to always be patrons there but never too hard to get a seat in a timely manner. I'm pretty much addicted to the Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup) and so I can't really say i've had anything else but that there. And that always seems to hit the spot for me.
