I simply cannot get this experience out of my mind, so I am needing to warn other people. I ordered take-out pho and I cannot remember what kind but it was probably chicken or seafood--the type doesn't matter because when I got home, I opened the containers and combined the broth, noodles, meat and garnishes. My first bite and I knew something was not right. I could not get the food to go down. Then I realized that I could not swallow because I was literally choking on several strands of long human hair!!!!!!! Literally, some of the hair was down my throat and some still in my mouth. If you're gagging right now, imagine my horror and continued trauma! I had to put my hands in my mouth, grab hold of the hair mixed with food, and pull the hair out of my throat! I wish I were making this up! Thankfully I was able to throw up. I then staggered from the bathroom and dumped the rest of that garbage in the trash where it belonged. I have PTSD still over this experience and am triggered every time I drive anywhere near that restaurant. You are warned! read more

Stopped in due to its proximity to Fred Meyer and wanted something quick for my lunch break. Your pretty standard mom and pop Pho joint...tried the basic Pho Tai. I'm not one to write bad reviews but I had such a bad experience I was writing one as I was leaving. Food is mediocre and barely any meat. The herbs I was given were rotting, there were flies around me as I ate. There was a little girl loudly blowing nonstop on a recorder/flute out of boredom the entire time I was eating. I got the chicken tom yum soup and it tasted like a mix of tom yum and curry; interesting and different, but overall pretty good, could've used more chicken. The spring rolls were pretty bland and they definitely are cheap on the amount of ingredients in them; 2 shrimp, a piece of weird looking sandwich meat, and a bunch of iceburg lettuce; no sprouts, and the peanut sauce wasn't really peanut sauce. After she gave me my to go order I went back to the counter to ask for my rice and before I even got to the counter she said "What do you want?", and after I asked for a side of rice she rudely told me it was $2 and sighed heavily as if she was annoyed. The best part of this place was the one year old in a pack n play behind the counter. She made it a point to say how tired he was and how she needed to get him to bed. Seriously? I would give it all 5 stars but they forgot to give me hoisin sauce and sriracha in the to go bag. Either way it still tastes good w/o those sauces which is rare for me. I am easy to please, but until this place i've never been a regular anywhere! It took me coming in about two times before the waitress remembered my order. I always get beef pho and a water. The restaurant is small... but quiet and pleasant. I usually come in here a few times a month while i'm on lunch (especially when im hung over from a fun night out). I enjoy getting some time to myself. Music plays gently in the background. My pho gets to me in about 5-10 minutes. Along with a side plate of the extra fixings. I like some siracha in mine and then im ready to eat it. The pho is delicious. Wonderful flavor and just so fun to eat. The waitress will check on me to make sure im enjoying myself. I always do. A small bowl is a pretty good portion and only $6. I will be a long time customer, that is for sure! read more

Legit pho. Been living in Auburn since 2005 and this was my first attempt at local pho. It was as good as any spot in the city (except for my favorite place of course, but they cook it in the northern style and I prefer that). The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because I specifically requested no cilantro, he acknowledged it, then brought me a bowl chock full of cilantro. This happens all the time, and if its not a fine chop, and if I can catch it early while it's localized I can fix it, but one little leaf ruins a whole bite. so nasty. Anyway, he saw me scooping, remembered me asking for no cilantro (with new places, i just start scooping because more than one time, that's all they did in the back, so WTF right? it's just a little cilantro, but still.......anyway, he offered to get me a new bowl, knowing how small businesses operate, I said don't worry about it. The broth was great, the tai was good, but the brisket was the really fatty type and it's not my exact favorite. Super nice folks, great pho. I can't wait to come back and try the bun. read more

My wife had the soup and thought it was "not bad" which is "good" in normal speech, and she knows how to cook Pho too. I had the rice plate and the proportions were great for the price. It seems as though the last three times I have tried to go there they have not been open for different reasons. The problem is the lack of communication between the business and customers. Awful vermicelli noodles & restaurant. I got the pork & egg roll vermicelli but the pork was disgusting that I couldn't even continue consuming it. The smell of it was so awful and strong like old meat smell cooked in gross charcoal oil or something and it was very artificially looking pink. extremely off-putting. Even the meat looked artificial. I have never seen pork in vermicelli noodles look like how it did when it was brought to me. The pork I usually get at pho places for the vermicelli is genuine grilled pork on skewers or brown colored real meat not some pork chopped up into little pink smelly pieces. The fish sauce tasted weird as well, kinda stale and old and they skimp on the egg roll. I also found a piece of hair or fur in my bowl. The restaurant is really gross inside too very unsanitary feel as soon as you walk in and sit down. Sauce splatters everywhere on the walls, tables had grease on it and floors looked unclean. I do not recommend this place at all especially not for any pork plates. Lastly the owners kids were sitting in the corner of the restaurant being extremely loud & obnoxious which was a terrible atmosphere for a restaurant. The daughter I assume was screaming at her little brother consistently to get away and I could hear them through my earphones. I've ordered From these folks a couple times, and the food is consistently "alright"--cheap enough, but nothing to write home about. Today I had their crab Rangoon and their beef with broccoli. The crab Rangoon is hot and crispy, just perfect. Unfortunately the beef and broccoli tasted like sesame oil and was full of green onions and cilantro, so the taste wasn't what I wanted. I'll probably still order from them, but not the beef for sure. read more

Most amazing pho I've had in Washington state so far, and the price is right. Large is almost 2 bowls worth of noodle, the meats are delicious and tender. The broth is so tasty and just perfect balance of umami. Manager is a very sweet lady, who unfortunately when we went tonight was badgered by an angry lady who obviously didn't know what Pho was supposed to taste like or is in general, and when the customer asked to put curry into the pho, I almost spoke up and told her to go somewhere else. They make a true Pho here. Manager handled it the best way she could, so for that more points to them. I'd leave a 10 star if I could. I love this place. read more

Absolutely terrible. I've been here twice. It's a pho place so I was expecting something quick and easy. My single order of pho took 25 minutes the first time then 30 minutes the second time. I order it without cilantro both times. And of course both times it had cilantro. It then took another 10 minutes to remake it. The pho was average at best. For your time, money, and tastebuds go somewhere else. read more

Decent pho, but nothing to get too excited about. There are 2 pho places within a mile or so that are much better. If you're right there at Fred Meyer or Lowes, and you're hungry for pho, it's close, which is about the only time I would go there anymore. I do have to admit that this was my first pho experience about 8 or 9 years ago, so I would not have been as picky back then, but I am a Pho Thang Long fan when it comes to Auburn. read more

bubble tea is absolutely amazing, highly recommend the banana kind with jellies in it. their potstickers are very good. I didn't eat more than that because it was a snack type visit but what I had was good. the staff wasn't invasive or annoying and the place was fairly clean. read more

I happened to stop by this little hole in the wall mom and pop shop Pho place and boy was I in for a treat. Some guy name Bato, was absolutely the nicest and friendliest server ever. The food was fantastic and the bubble tea and ice coffee was pretty freaking awesome. I also learned that Bato, was also a Boening specialist of some sort. Always a fun time at Pho Time!!! read more
