Still DA BEST Brown Sugar boba, just the perfect texture of chewiness! I've tried most of the drinks on the menu, and my favorites are Brown Sugar Milk Brulee, Strawberry Crema and the Yogurt series. I've tried several seasonal items, and most are just okay. Recently I tried a holiday drink Crema Thai Tea Cookie Latte with brown sugar - it's 4 out of 5 stars for me. The cookie butter is stronger than the Thai tea taste, an interesting combo. And as always, brown sugar boba is the best. However, the drink itself cost $10.95, and with the addition of brown.sugar boba, I ended up paying $12. So MissBoba is definitely an occasional treat for my wallet. Service is always great, they always ask for sweetness level adjustment and tell you to mix the drinks well. Inside isn't too big, and gets quite crowded when it's busy, especially when the line is out the door. Also, love that they host pop-ups of donuts and other baked goods throughout the year. MissBoba has the best brown sugar creme brulee milk I have had in the state of Washington. I'm always a bit apprehensive of ordering this drink since it can be overbearingly sweet, but decided to try it since I heard good things and I didn't want to get a drink with caffeine in it. I would give this drink the Asian compliment of "not too sweet". The drink was the perfect amount sweet without it being sickenly sweet. The brown sugar taste came through the milk and cream well. The cream wasn't sweet yet added a texture and slight vanilla flavor. The tapioca was the perfect amount of chewiness and sweetened with brown sugar. Super easy to enjoy this drink and I really wanted to get another one after I had finished. The staff are also very kind. Upon walking in and looking at the menu the staff were welcoming and asked if we had any questions. Only downside for me is that MissBoba is all the way in Kent (and I live a ways away from it). If it was closer I would be there so often!!
Took my girlfriend here for her birthday last Friday. The staff was friendly and helpful in setting up our drinks. We got the brown sugar boba fresh milk and brown sugar boba crème brûlée fresh milk. Both were really sweet, the boba was the perfect texture since we don't like them as hard. Highly recommend stopping by for the aesthetics and great drinks.
It's been a while since I last updated my review so I will keep it short. I came here on a weekend and they were busy making drink orders. The staffs were friendly and always get the drinks done efficiently. This time I ordered their limited food menu item, tofu pudding with boba. I also got their strawberry creama tea slush and lychee dragonfruit green tea. Overall, the drinks were perfect. Not too sweet, even at 75% sugar. I appreciate that they use real fruits and not artificial syrups, which makes it very authentic. I really love the tofu pudding with the warm brown sugar boba. It was the perfect dessert to share after a meal. I wish they serve this on a daily basis. I am salivating as I'm writing this review. I can't wait for their new Renton location to open!
Finally went in person to the store and at 8pm on a Wednesday it's very quiet (serene), and not crowded (thank God). They currently have their seasonal guava drinks and yogurt drinks. The staff are super friendly, make an effort to welcome you in and give you recommendations. Unfortunately, at 8:10pm they're mostly out brown sugar boba and so offered only the shorter size and was informative about it. It's their most popular drink and they made sure to let us know it's real brown sugar from Taiwan. Relatively clean shop with large tables for seating. The white chairs are not that comfortable - felt like I might break it
We decided to come back here, last year it became our favorite for milk teas but never tried the fruit teas... I'm gonna say this, the Crema guava became my favorite drink to this day. I love guava (reminds me of home - Hawaii) and when I mixed it with the Crema it reminded me of a guava cake that I grew up eating. It was SOOO GOOD. The only complaint is that there was wayyyy too much ice for even regular ice. The lychee dragon fruit was pretty good, we wish we didn't adjust the sweetness cause there was no sweetness at all, even at 75%. Love the fruit they put in it though. The service was amazing, like always. The service here is what differentiates them from other brands. The inside was clean and put together. The parking wasn't too horrible.
Their signatures and special drinks both work very well here! My friends and I wanted to do some nearby grocery shopping on a Friday night while satisfying our sweet teeth, so this place came to mind. Inside feels like a small cafe-like area with some seats near the front and in the back that can seat some large parties. There's an interesting sign near the front that says, "In a relationship with boba" which is pretty much the era I'm in as of now and need to request time off from. There's also a large photo op worthy statue of their brown sugar boba near the counter. They offer a good bunch of drinks, though my friends and I all got stuff from their top 10 drinks as listed on their menu. Now for our drinks: - I got the brown sugar boba creme brulee fresh milk. This was probably the most expensive drink I saw on the menu, and it also works very well. You can see them torch the brulee though they did so very quickly before I could record it with my phone; it looked really nice and I was sad I couldn't capture it. It's really sweet and I tasted what felt like egg pudding inside mines but overall I love how everything worked together. The boba is soft, warm and chewy. - One of my friends got their MissBoba milk tea, which is their signature milk tea in a nutshell. Nothing special about this one, but it does set a nice baseline for their other drinks. Plus it came with grass jelly, which was a nice surprise along with the boba. - My other friend got their Oreo cream puff milk tea. Wow this one was so good to have even though it's standard for Oreo milk teas! Very solid experience here for boba! I'd make another visit here to give their other menu options a try, or even to just get the brulee milk again.
What a great place to get Boba and other types of desserts! I really enjoyed their seasonal holiday drinks! They have super friendly service. I got 30% sweetness, and it wasn't sweet which is great, the eggnog Matcha latte had an interesting flavor, not anything spectacular, but it was unique enough for me to be satisfied. Overall, I had to recommend and would come back.
10 stars!!! ALLLLL the stars! This place has the absolute best customer service evvvverrrr! I can't tell you enough about it. My husband and I walked in and explained we had never been here before. They quickly informed about what made them different than other places and how their ingredients were different. They were so patient with us. Their seating area is cozy and welcoming. Super clean too. I missed taking a picture of our drinks because we were so excited to try them and once we took a sip it was GONE! Soooo good!!! I can't tell you enough...THIS IS A MUST TRY!! You will not regret this! Worth every penny especially with this amazing customer service.
I got the recommended brown sugar milk tea. I like it a lot it wasn't overpowering and a perfect balance. The service was quick as well and interior decorating of the boba spot was pretty.
Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #85 MissBoba seemed to have the best reviews of all the boba shops in Kent, so we decided to stop by on a Sunday afternoon on a recent visit to the city. It turns out this place is indeed quite popular, with customers coming in every couple of minutes. We ended up sharing a single drink, and by the end, we were thinking of going back for more. Black Milk Tea, 50% Sugar, Less Ice w/ Brown Sugar Boba ($7) - Surprisingly great black tea flavor with a very mellow, pleasant sweetness. The black tea is strong enough to be astringent, causing a dry rough feeling on the tongue. The owner said that their sweetness levels are less than the competition, and I agree. 50% sugar is very pleasant for the drink, even with the additional sweetness from the boba soak. The boba has clearly been soaked for a long time in brown sugar, giving a rich sweetness and a thick softer layer on the exterior. It's not to the point of being mushy at all, but compresses easily with the soft layer rather easily detaching from the rest of the pearl with minimal pressure or effort. The pearls still have chewy centers. There's a huge delta between the softness of the exterior and the firmer interior - much more so than almost all other boba shops. I do wish the super soft exterior was a little more firm, but it's definitely still a great boba. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 When we first walked in, the owner (I think) started talking about how high quality all the ingredients MissBoba uses, from brown sugar imported from Taiwan to A2 milk from Costco. No powders or syrups! But then they said they use non-dairy creamer in their milk teas, so I guess they don't consider creamer to be powder? Well anyways, that's just a minor thing I noted! The fact is, their drinks seem to be very high quality, and MissBoba is an easy place to return to whenever I'm in Kent. Bathrooms - One unisex room that requires a key from the front counter.
OMG I finally found the best sugar boba I've ever had!! Fresh milk, super soft boba, and the drink isn't too sweet even when I ordered extra boba. The trip from Sammamish to Kent was totally worth it Brown Sugar Boba Crème Brûlée Fresh Milk is a must try!

If I'm going to be paying $7+ for milk tea drinks, it better be very good tea -- none of that sugary fake stuff! And Miss Boba really delivers. On our most recent visit, the taro green tea latte at 50% sugar was the perfect post-lunch treat. The taro gets mixed throughout more in this drink vs the taro milk tea I tried previously. I like both! Mango yogurt (regular sweetness) had a fresh ripeness that wasn't too sweet and had a balanced tartness. Husband says all they need is purple rice (iykyk) read more

This was our first time visiting MissBoba, and we had such a great experience. The place was beautiful, very clean, and well kept. We also noticed they recently celebrated their 5 year anniversary, which is such a great milestone. The two workers who helped us were so nice and friendly, and the service made our first visit even better. We tried the Top 8 Drink, Taro Fresh Milk, and Avo Coco, one of their newer menu options. Everything was delicious and we really enjoyed trying something new. For our first visit, we were very impressed. The drinks were great, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was wonderful. We'll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu. read more

Personalized Boba tea experience with careful attention placed on what you're feeling like enjoying today! Went there for the first time today. I got the oolong milk tea, my husband got the crema coffee and my son got the strawberry slushie with lychee. The young lady at the front was VERY cordial and took time to explain everything to me followed by a gentleman who also expressed that their syrups and teas are specialty made. I was very happy with my experience there and plan to go back in the future! One thing I liked was their attention to explaining how too much sugar or too little sugar would impact the drink (my husband and I prefer less sweet) so I really appreciated that! Always one of my favorite spots to visit in the area. I do think their brown sugar boba is the best in WA. It stays chewy and delicious even after a couple hours. I'm never not craving Miss Boba read more
Still my favorite boba shop in Washington. Staff is always friendly. The quality of the ingredients top notch. Tables to for drinking and visiting but think most people probably get their beverages to go. Their drinks are good without toppings but their toppings are something though you don't want to miss either. Probably the best boba in Washington just the right softness. I often get the coco jelly with fruit tea drinks love the texture. read more
I've been going here for years now. They are known for their brown sugar crème brûlée but I like to have an adventure a little bit. One of my favorites is oreo brown sugar. Their current (July 2024) seasonal drink is their yogurt drink. They said that the most popular is mango yogurt and the least is passion fruit yogurt. read more
This is one of my favorite boba places! Why? Because their taro milk tea is absolutely delicious! It's my favorite drink on their menu! I've also tried their Ube Milk Tea (also not powered!) and their MissBoba Milk Tea (Boba+ Grass Jelly), brown sugar boba creme brulee fresh milk with almond milk and these drinks are good but I prefer their taro milk tea more! The cashier always makes people understand that their ube and taro drinks are not powered and are made with the actual ube or taro. I really appreciate that and I'm sure others would too! My sister and I were in the area, so we decided to stop by for a sweet treat since she has never been to MissBoba! I have been here before, but my sister hasn't. So, the cashier was helpful and gave us some recommendations, as well as making sure our order was correct before we paid for the drinks. I ordered the Strawberry Yogurt with crystal boba. This was one of the suggestions the cashier gave since it is a seasonal drink that is made with fresh fruit! My sister ordered the House-Made Ube Milk Tea with brown sugar boba, which was also seasonal. The interior of the boba shop is SUPER cute! It looked like it was still decorated for Lunar New Year, in addition to their regular decoration. read more

Kinda upsetting to be lied to by the cashier... I saw a video online where they had a promo for the bucket cooler. Drove myself there to get one since it was super cute. Requirements to buy the cooler is 2 drink purchase + $15 for the cooler (totaling about $30/cooler without tax). Total of 2 coolers was around $65. I do not mind paying $30 for a drink, but to be lied to by the cashier is just upsetting. I bought 2 cooler bucket drinks, and asked if I can get 2 different colors. The cashier told me the coolers are super popular and everything was sold out. The only color they had left was the hot pink one. After purchasing, I saw the next customer had a different color cooler, a blue one. I would have understood if you guys don't allow customers to pick the cooler colors, could have said so instead of lying to me. Since I wanted the coolers in other colors, I looked it up online to buy some. I found it online for $5/each... kinda ridiculous that they are selling it for $15, that is indeed a mark up. read more
The is is a cute little place. It can get very busy. They greeted me as soon a so walked in. They were very kind and asked if it was my first time there and explained to mix your drink really well because it's fresh fruits and not powders. You can really taste the difference from other boba places. All 3 drinks were so good. My favorite was there specialty crème brûlée milk tea They also sell these cute little drink buckets and they have a signature dessert I will be trying next time read more
I love the decor in this shop - it's filled with neko kitty and boba plushies but my favorite item is the huge boba cup - Our server was really nice - he explained the ube drink is made with real ube so there may be chunks. I love that they use real ingredients and not from powder. With the brown sugar boba to stir 18 times - so specific but so cute. The brown sugar bobas were so soft and brown sugary sweet - it's a great date spot to sit, chill, and talk - wear a cute outfit for your IG photos read more

Excellent customer service. I give this place 4 stars, would have been 5 but there was too much ice. The store was very clean and had a very cute atmosphere. I ordered two different teas Passion fruit green tea and Lychee drainage green tea. I will return to this store. read more

I drove from Seattle to Kent to get this boba on a hard day if that tells you anything. The staff is the most informed of any tea shop you'll find! They know their menu well and have never given a bad recommendation based on the vague and indecisive descriptions I'll give at times. Unlike most places, their taro and ube are made fresh in house (most places use powder) and it makes a HUGE difference in the flavor. Only problem I have is drinking it too quickly for such a big drive lol! Lots of good seating space and fun decor. Good parking because it's besides a Safeway grocer and other stores read more
ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This is hands down THE best boba I've ever had. We were told their boba and brown sugar are imported straight from Taiwan and they are magical. I drove a whole hour for a limited special item to celebrate their third birthday and immediately got sad that I only ordered 2 of their tofu puddings. LOOK AT THE JIGGLE. It was still amazing the next day after popping it into the microwave. I'm already planning to come back next weekend! Plenty of free parking in the lot, lots of chairs and tables to sit to enjoy your goodies. read more

If I could give 10000 star review I would! You can walk in any day, any time- and the drinks and service will ALWAYS be exceptional. They will accommodate any allergies and dietary preferences and you can always count on your drink made FRESH ALWAYS! You can tell this place is well cared for and maintained. Great customer service. I asked for 50% sweet on my Lychee Dragonfruit Tea and was told they do not use syrup and if I wanted more sweet to let them know. I did return for additional sweetness, which definitely improved the drink. I love the care and attention that goes into making a quality drink. It was an additional $.99 for added boba, which I love the soft and chewy texture. read more

I have had MissBoba bookmarked for awhile. Previous stop was at a model shop in Skyway and this time decided to not head over to Burien, I continued onto Hwy 167 via Renton to check out MissBoba in Kent (5/25/23). This popular site is located in a retail strip mall area diagonal from Safeway. Snagged a parking space right out front and no line! The counter person was very welcoming with quite the radiant smile! Ordered a pair of large Brown Sugar Boba Creme Brulee Fresh Milk, with tax and tip came out to under $22. Guess our choice for this first visit aligned with the menu signage as the shop's #1 best seller. I usually just get plain milk tea elsewhere, so I was definitely going all out with the extra creme brulee that gets torched before serving, fresh A2 milk, special brown sugar, and generous amount perfectly chewy boba pearls. Note though, their brown sugar milk teas aren't available until after 11:30 am. Admired our beverages, then made sure to mix thoroughly eighteen times as instructed. Can you imagine the QC testing....not an arbitrary 9, 16 or 19, but 18 times to get the full flavor profile?! And there clearly was a difference with the A2 milk versus the fresh milk used at another popular site in the greater Seattle area - no stomach upset. Savored our beverages onsite. Pricey indulgence, but experienced amazing quality. Mmmm, truly delicious and refreshing! Bright, lively interior decor and ample seating that surrounded the main counter. The AC was welcomed on this hot Thursday afternoon. It seemed we must of triggered the bat signal (lol), because no kidding, at least an additional dozen people showed up after us. This didn't seem to phase the counter crew, as they continued to provide efficient, friendly service. It would be great if they opened a site in North Seattle, Shoreline, Edmonds or Lynnwood, hint hint. Late to the MissBoba party as northenders, but better late than never! The best place to get boba around here. Their brown sugar tapioca is always fresh and soft. I have never found any place around WA as good as this place. Service is always fast and friendly. They will recognize your name and face if you've been there a few time. Good location near safeway with plenty of free parking right in front. Many seatings inside and good for hangout with friends. read more
