Green Tea Boba with Coconut Milk
    Michelle B.

My experience at Serenity Mom Tea was very enjoyable not to mention the time the very kind lady offered to answer all my questions and explain every single tea I inquired about. I bought a Green Tea with coconut milk and it was delicious along with the yummy boba which she explained how she coats it with brown sugar taking her time cooking it herself. I could tell the difference in her boba from the other boba I've tasted at many other Tea shops, not too sweet at all. She also showed me the proper way to stir the boba into the tea before consumption, I really enjoyed the taste. I bought the reasonably priced single Medicinal tea bags ranging from Headache,Diabetes, Weight Loss and the list continues. I loved how you can smell each and every loose leaf tea she sells in her Beautiful and inviting store. I will definitely visit and purchase from this store on a regular basis.

A very interesting tea shop that sells a variety of herbal and medicinal tea blends. The owner is very nice, and will tell you everything you want to know about tea. I came to try the boba after my neighbor recommended it. To be honest, I was fairly disappointed by the boba. It was way to soft (overcooked) for my liking. I got a jasmine milk tea with boba. The tea is really good, the boba made it not as enjoyable. My friend tried the Spicy Chai and the Brown Sugar Black Tea, which was the worst. It tasted like medicine. I added a lot of milk at home to make it tolerable. Overall, I'd come back to pick up some loose tea. I'd also like to give the boba another try.

Awesome customer service! I walked in to get some tea as a gift and the woman working there was very kind. I got a black milk tea bubble tea as well and oh my- decadent. I ordered it not to sweet, it was definitely a treat, and the freshest boba I've ever had. Definitely worth a

As a die hard coffee drinker, loose leaf authentic tea is really pulling me to the other side. I am a huge supporter of supporting local businesses and this place is a must! The owner (im horrible with names, I wish I remembered) was super helpful and sweet. She's been open for many years. When I got there she was helping out a returning customer who drove all the way from Tacoma - that's when you know she's good. I told her I wanted something that tastes good, I'm not a tea expert just as long it's not Oprah's Tazo Chai (no shade). I ended up getting two bags of the the ginseng oolong and the milky oolong, along with individual packs of the beauty blend and inflammation blend. Everything I've tried so far is amazing. The ginseng really gives you a boost of caffeine. I left with my teas and information pages of how to steep and clean the tea. Super informational. They also offer tea tastings for $15 and boba! Located in Kent. Private parking lot.

Puerh tea cake from Serenity Moon Tea. This tea cake is excellent and also priced fairly. Amazing deal for high quality puerh.

I found Mako's tea shop in her previous location in Kent under a different name back in 2015 when I used to work nearby. Mako is wonderful and the organic teas are my favorite. Tea tastings with Mako are something special, which I have shared with family and friends. The customer service here is top notch and a very relaxing ambiance. I highly recommend and am already looking forward to my next order. Thank you, Mako!

Please take the time out of your day to stop by and support this small business. The owner is so knowledgeable about tea of all kinds and is so sweet and genuine. You can buy just about any type of loose leaf tea you can imagine. The boba is also amazing, don't forget the boba. You won't regret stopping by, if you do, that's a you problem.

You can skip the whipped cream, but highly recommend getting the freshly brewed milk tea with amazing brown sugar boba.

Really excellent tea and brown sugar boba. This is not a place to go for the crema (they don't have it; it's only whipped cream) or other toppings. You come here for the tea: for legitimate, excellent, flavorful tea. And also the boba. I don't even normally like boba. I tend to get my milk teas without it. But not here. Mako's boba is the perfect texture and she serves it slightly warm, which is perfect. My favorite thing to get here - which I've had so many times now I've lost count and I can walk in and ask for my "usual" - is the jasmine green milk tea, no ice, no added sugar, with boba. It's my dessert for the day. I finish about half of it during lunch and then finish the rest in the afternoon. Each cup is filled OVER the brim - the lid is what barely contains the generous amount of tea. I told my office about it and everyone got tea one day. It was a little difficult to transport the 8+ teas because the cups are all so full, but EVERYONE, and I mean every single person raved to me about it. Also the service here is so warm. Mako always seems so happy to make a drink. When I mentioned to Mako that my child loves the boba, she gave me an extra serving in a seperate cup, so that it wouldn't have any caffeine. I want to come back to do a tea tasting because the shop smells so good.

Had a great time with a traditional Chinese tea tasting. Then, I enjoyed a delicious bobble tea afterwards.

When I walk in here, I feel like I'm inside a warehouse or large parking garage, solely because of the large door near the entrance to this place. Inside, it's blasting K-pop music, and has some tables to sit at. There's also some arcade machines and a photo booth. You order your drinks up at the counter using their kiosks, and they have a bunch of uniquely named drinks like their other location in Cap Hill, with some that are simply just strawberry matcha and mango matcha drinks, though this does keep in line with what a ton of people are crazily lining up for in this day and age (including myself). Since I simply got my drink and sat with my friend, I don't have anything to mention about service here. I got their No. 5 Elixir, which is a mixture of charcoal mango lemonade and a lot of mango bits. First and foremost, I'm happy that it didn't stain my teeth as I drank it, haha. But more importantly, it's sweet and tangy and was very refreshing even though weather was somewhat gloomy when I went. This is a very chill place to hang out at, and I can see myself coming here for a quick designer drink/blend. As of this writing, I still haven't tried all their stuff yet!

I asked for some recommendations for milk tea, and the girl who works there gave me some recommendations. +Spacious and comfortable space - I visited on a weekday and I was the only customer. I can see it being busy with people chatting and playing boardgames on the weekend. What needs improvement: Boba! I almost lowered by rating because the boba did not have a good texture. This time I tried Hojicha Milk Tea, which had a powdery texture and was alright. But I've had other drinks like Post Melona and enjoyed it better. I would definitely go for a fruity tea or blended drink

Maybe I've just been lucky? I've been a customer here for years, though, so take that into consideration as well. At times I've come in and there was only one or two workers but they're fast. The woman who's consistently working (perhaps the owner or manager) is always so nice to us. She gets our orders right. And even the times we want to try something new and flub our order, she'll do her best to correct it. I've stood in long lines here and got in and out fast. There is seating inside if you'd like to dine in. The decor inside is cute, too, makes for decent IG pics. My order always tastes good. Give it a try! I try to support Kent Station businesses as well, as much as I can. It's been a bummer to see the management of that shopping center allow for so many businesses to close. I remember a time when they were all occupied. Sad to see.

I saw complaints saying that the drinks were too sweet, however, I'm on the more sweet side for preference, so I thought I would like it. I got the brown sugar latte and it was somewhat good in the beginning, but the drink was definitely really sweet, and even too sweet for me. The boba felt old too because it was really soft. The second drink we tried was the matcha latte. This drink tasted like something we could make at home. The service was okay. The worker was nice but it seemed like they didn't want to be there. We were greeted with hospitality as well. The server was more like minding their business. Also, they served my drink with the brown sugar sauce partially on my cup, which made my hands sticky. I felt like my hands were sticky throughout the night, no matter how many times I cleaned it. The best quality of this boba shop is their ambiance. Very nicely decorated with good lighting. The environment was neat and gave a nice vibey feeling. This would be a chill place to hangout with your friends to get a drink. However, the quality of the drink and service isn't good enough to get me back here.

However, other cafes smear some avocado on toast and add a tomato and charge you $15, here they give you a whole meal with an egg on top, cucumbers and tomatoes, avocado, and more. It actually feels like it's worth your money. The coffee is good even though it's not too unique. I feel like they used to be a specialty coffee shop before they turned to the crepe/cafe scene. The coffee was very sweet though so I would highly recommend getting it half sweet. The crepe is good, stuffed well and worth the price. It is obviously sweet as well so it's hard to drink a very sweet coffee with a sweet crepe. The barista was kind and helpful with any questions I had when ordering.
