I had this place saved for a while and wanted to check it out while we were in the area and luckily my boyfriend was down for a sweet treat after we finished dinner nearby. As we entered, there was a little jingle to alert the employees that there were customers and we were greeted by both the employees. The menu was concise and simple to understand which is get as when the menu is too big then it gets too overwhelming. As I was taking a picture of the menu behind the counter, the one of the employees kindly informed me know that they had a menu closer so I can look at it that was closer as I have bad eye sight. My boyfriend got the I'm in Love with the Coco while I got the Harajuku dreams. They were both flavor bombs that worked with the toppings that they come with, though my boyfriend added Hello Panda snacks to his which we were both happy to see as a topping. They had unique toppings too like Biscoff and mochi too so we will be trying those out too. The ice cream was the perfect consistency and not too sweet. It was also a good amount of ice cream and toppings too! We actually were going to grab a drink somewhere else afterwards but saw they had drinks for $4 and it was a pretty decent size for that much. We did ask for no ice but I think my boyfriend was too quiet as we received ice but even then, they didn't overfill it like at many places that are like 80% ice and 20% drink. The drinks were refreshing though, we both got the ramune cause the ramune ice cream was so good and it was just that but in liquid form! They also can add creamer to it and it added the perfect amount of creamy smoothness to it. This is pretty cute with their decor and furniture in the corner. The rest of the place has a long bench which is nice but I kinda wished they had small tables attached as I felt bad spilling my fruity pebbles. Also, the service here was really good! The employees are very sweet, patient, and attentive as there was a lady who came in with a stroller and struggled. As that lady was heading out, one of the employees came over to help and held the door for her. They were also super patient and accommodating to excited kids that were kinda shouting out what they wanted and they were able to catch everything they said which I thought was sweet. I also asked if they were dog friendly and they said yes! So we will definitely be coming by here for the summer where they have AC and amazing cool desserts and drinks. read more

This is my new favorite spot for ice cream. As soon as I walked in, I was blown away by the amazingly cute pink and tropical print decor. It made me forget for a second that I was in Kent and was transported to Boca Raton, Florida. The ice cream flavors are extremely unique with flavors, such as Vietnamese coffee, Ube, Taron and many others. I was even extremely surprised and ecstatic that they had black ice cream cones. The only place I've gotten black ice cream cones is in Vancouver. I ended up getting the Cofferun which consists of Taron and Vietnamese coffee flavor with graham crackers. My kid loves this ice cream shop, specifically for the strawberry soft serve. It is pretty good but more of an artificial strawberry taste. The taro is good - tastes just like a taro bubble tea. The customer service is okay. The ladies are friendly but no matter who is working they are 99% of the time tucked away on their phones behind the counter. I get it if it's not busy but still, not very professional. The ambiance is cute but it is getting a little worn down especially compared to when they first opened. Windows could be cleaned, couches could be cleaned/replaced etc. I feel like the employees can easily use their spare time to make the place a little more clean/inviting. Getting into the Yelp Experience, though, basically means that I'm required to go, winter or not! The experience was for 1 cone/cup, including specialty, and we were asked to bring warm winter hats for those in need. The employee was super helpful and offered a sample of anything they had. The obvious choice for me was the uwubae specialty in a cup, no sample required! I was flirting with the idea of a cone, but that just seemed a little much for what I could fit at the time. I invited my parental unit to come along with me and he went with the Swiss Miss chocolate with no frills. The ice cream was really good! I definitely wish the taro flavour was a bit more forward, but I'd absolutely eat another one. The Swiss Miss got fairly good reviews. Seems like it really does taste like Swiss Miss and he would have maybe preferred the regular chocolate instead (which, if I recall correctly, is diary free). I found just a cup with the 2 pocky to be very filling and I'm glad I went before dinner! We traveled a long way for a long time to try this place. Rush hour traffic be damned! We were going to try this place. It is a delight as they have soft serve and lots of topping options. They readily offer free samples and have a very pretty interior perfect for social media updates. I came for a Yelp Elite promotion and also bought 3 other cones for family while there. I love coffee flavored ice creams so I was hooked once I tried the Vietnamese Coffee soft serve. I ordered the special called Coffeen. It is the coffee ice cream mixed with Taro ice cream and served with Hello Panda cookies, graham cracker crumbles and condensed milk. I had mine in the intriguing Midnight Vanilla Konery waffle cone. The cone flavor selections was like none I've ever seen. They had Matcha, Birthday Cake, Midnight Vanilla (my choice), Red Velvet, and French Vanilla options. They also had 2 smaller sized waffle cones available. My mom also had the Coffeen cone while my daughter had the Merry Swiss Miss and my son had the Taro with Pop Rocks topping. All were super delicious and unique flavors as advertised. We learned that they are owned by the Bobalust store a couple of doors down and that this is the first venture into the ice cream market. All the flavors sound delicious and deciding was difficult. Luckily, they offer samples before committing to a flavor. I decided on a specialty cone: Uwubae. A taro soft serve with cookie crumbles, chocolate drizzle and pocky sticks. They stack the soft serve so perfectly and generously. The soft serve itself is delicious, which made finishing it very easy. It was just a smidge sweet, so creamy, and had a very subtle taro flavor that's approachable for any taste palate. It's less sweet than other soft serve places, which is perfect for me! I also got a hot chocolate soft serve in a cup. Equally as generous. Soft serve was delicious but definitely more sweet for the American sweet tooth. So creamy and warm feeling. The range of different flavors and options makes this a great place for any dessert lover. My sister and I got the uwubae which had taro soft serve with chocolate sauce, Oreo crumbs, and pocky for $7. The taro flavor was strong (think taro boba) and the soft serve was SUPER creamy and fatty. One cup was a great serving size for 2 people. Just so happened to see this place while I popped by the bank today and decided to give it a try. Super cute and unique ice cream spot.
