In need of a supersized caffeine "hit" in the Supermall? suggest that you take a break at Gosanko's Chocolate. We did! It's the place that every shopping mall should have. Sit down with your choice of candied desserts, baked goods or a cup of flavored energy and refreshment. We picked up some delicious chocolate--which also came in sugar free varieties. The service was cordial and the space at Gosanko's gives you the impression that you are further away from it all than you really are. There are also some nice gifts for those folks on your list who need to know that you thought of them in a CV place like this. Stop in! We enjoyed it.

I've been to Gosanko's twice I believe. It's located inside the Supermall. Not only is it a…read morechocolate boutique but it also has all capability of being a coffee shop as well. There is indoor seating and quite a bit of roped off seating out of the store and in the mall corridor. The first time I was here I ducked in and got a small hot chocolate drink which was quite pleasant. It was quite a while back but I also believe I bought some truffles and enjoyed them. But a refresher was in order since I did not have a review for this business and wanted to correct that. So I went in again this past weekend and bought some more chocolates to go on. I bought two of the store's orange sticks dipped in milk chocolate. My dad always liked these out of a box my mother purchased at the grocery store but I always found out that chocolate boutiques' versions are always better and that was no exception here. The chocolate tasted like chocolate and the orange jelly inside tasted like orange jelly. Score! I also got a champagne truffle which I really liked too! I also purchased some haystacks which is coconut cluster dipped in dark chocolate in this case and a couple different nut clusters for Steve. All purchased here was good and this sweet shop is a nice little oasis through all the clothing shops in the mall.

No telling how many times I passed this place over the decades, but I never paid it any attention…read more When I did a search for Mexican grocery stores, it was one of the top results. I knew exactly the spot, and decided to check it out. This place gets an A+ on selection, but that is where the praise stops. I saw so many things I was interested in, but unfortunately, 90% of what I saw had no price on it. It's kind of hard to shop when you have no idea what the prices are. Judging from the prices I did see; I would say pricing here was on the aggressive side. I considered checking out the Taqueria, but unfortunately the menus consisted on plates only. I just wanted to try a single taco, and small side of rice and beans, but the only taco option was a 3-taco plate. I ended up buying 4 fresh salsa and a bag of chips. 2 of the 4 salsas were terrible and one of the remaining 2 was decent, but all salsas needed salt and the Habanero option was the mildest of the bunch. The chips were also commercial and not homemade as I hoped. Enough people were shopping to let me know the community supports the business, but that also could be because they are the only option. There are larger stores in both Burien and Federal Way that have better pricing, I'll certainly shop there before returning here again.
