I've been to Gosanko's twice I believe. It's located inside the Supermall. Not only is it a chocolate boutique but it also has all capability of being a coffee shop as well. There is indoor seating and quite a bit of roped off seating out of the store and in the mall corridor. The first time I was here I ducked in and got a small hot chocolate drink which was quite pleasant. It was quite a while back but I also believe I bought some truffles and enjoyed them. But a refresher was in order since I did not have a review for this business and wanted to correct that. So I went in again this past weekend and bought some more chocolates to go on. I bought two of the store's orange sticks dipped in milk chocolate. My dad always liked these out of a box my mother purchased at the grocery store but I always found out that chocolate boutiques' versions are always better and that was no exception here. The chocolate tasted like chocolate and the orange jelly inside tasted like orange jelly. Score! I also got a champagne truffle which I really liked too! I also purchased some haystacks which is coconut cluster dipped in dark chocolate in this case and a couple different nut clusters for Steve. All purchased here was good and this sweet shop is a nice little oasis through all the clothing shops in the mall. read more

Stopped in for coffee and honestly wish we hadn't. The lady who helped us was rather rude and a little impatient as we tried to figure out what we wanted to order. As one of the only coffee shops in the mall, we were a bit surprised to see no one in the coffee shop either. Most forgettable coffee I've ever had. read more

Gosanko may not be a mom and pop chocolatier but there's a huge variety of things to try. Coffees, truffles, gifts and I think I saw ice cream there! I was craving one of the most important food groups, chocolate, when I happened on this little spot. I believe it's a chain establishment so it's not truly gourmet but it's certainly a step above See's candy. I had a variety of truffles: hazelnut, Irish cream, Grand Marnier, caramel sea salt, fudge, and so on. Nothing really Wowed me, because these aren't experimental flavors and the quality is that of a Hershey's bar. But I did get my chocolate fix (for now). read more

Nice chocolate, candy, and fudge shop in the super mall. Not a bad little stop after walking around the mall. They have a nice selection of local treats, candied popcorn and jams, and others of the sort from companies around the area. They have freshly made fudge, truffles, and all sorts of chocolates behind the counter. They also have a very nice selection of sugar free chocolates which is a nice option to have and they are pretty tasty. They also have big peanut butter cups and chocolate covered marshmallows. There's also lunch food they serve here such as soups and sandwiches but I haven't tried any yet. Pricing is normal and service is nice. For sure a good place to swing by to quench that chocolate craving! read more

Tons of treats to choose from, albeit seriously overpriced. They serve D'arte coffee, which they do reasonably well. This, however, is one of the rare times that the service just completely killed it for me. There was no one at the register when I walked in, assuming that they had just quickly run into the back I was fine with waiting and spent some time browsing. After several minutes I decided to peek around to see if I could see anyone. The lone employee was in the back texting and eating and it took her several minutes to greet me. She apologized for the wait and then proceeded to tell me that it's the company's fault that she has to stop and eat when she can because employees aren't allowed breaks and made it very clear that she hated her job. I've never had the opportunity to check out this cute little chocolate shop, but we needed a coffee and this was nearby. The shop itself has some really cool gifts and lots of unique chocolates I want to try! Snickerdoodle, PB&J, and Raspberry Cheesecake fudge just to name a few. The white chocolate mocha we ended up getting was very meh. It had waaay too much foam for a mocha, and it for some reason had a fruity undertone to it. I won't be coming back for coffee but I might need to try those chocolates. read more

Mediocre chocolate for a ridiculous price. The store was very nice and employees friendly. I just can't get past the quality of chocolate for what I paid. Out of the 6 chocolates we got for $14+, wife and I both agreed they just aren't up to par with other chocolatiers out there. Maybe it's a young company so I feel like they can still improve. I could stand in this store and sample their fudge all day long. If you have never eaten their tiger butter please go in and have a sample. I love that they have a fudge (my weakness) punch card. After so many you earn not 1 but 2 free squares. Their old fashioned red vine chunks are always fresh and amazing too. read more

The prices are outrages. It was $15.75 + Tax for 6 small Truffles and they were good but not over $16.00 total good. I should of handed them back to her when I saw the price. Service was good. But I had to give it a 1 star for Rip off prices. read more

When I was growing up, we had a candy store in our neighborhood that made homemade chocolate figurines for Christmas and Easter. We were always so happy to have them. I was delighted, as a young mom, to find Gosanko chocolate near me so I could do the same thing for my children. My children are adults now, but I still buy them Gosanko chocolate figurines for Christmas and Easter. They also have a selection of other homemade candies. My husband likes the raspberry strings. I absolutely recommend Gosanko! Please support this small business! read more

Got curious about this place on driving past the one in downtown auburn. We stopped one day and now I am hooked. Delicious chocolate, coffee - I haven't tried their ice cream. It's a rare thing to find an independent chocolatier anymore and this place was one of the few that still had soft center chocolates. read more

This was half of our family's first visit and our large group was given exemplary service by the two ladies in the front. I'm a mocha fanatic and a picky one at that. I normally drink only the hot versions, but decided to try one on ice. I noticed that Gosanka uses D'arte roast, which I don't find in Pierce County. The blend with their unknown-to-me chocolate sauce made a delicious 20-ounce drink. Most our fam members sampled the variety of fudge and we ended up purchasing a good amount. I don't live in the Outlet Collection area, but will be back when I am near. read more

Adorable chocolate shop in the mall. It's the perfect place to take a break from shopping, grab a hot chocolate or espresso and lounge on the couches inside. The shop smells delicious and feels warm. The hot chocolate isn't the best that I've had but It was definitely worth the $2.20. read more

I'd never heard of this local Auburn candy brand until a business partner from work sent our team a basket of Gosanko chocolates on a stick (for ease of typing let's just call them pops) and a bag of their chocolate rocks. This review is slightly more about the product than the store which was clean and run by helpful, cheery staff. For some reason, no one could stomach the pops which I could not understand because I found chocolate rocks rocked! We picked up a bag for $4 amidst the assortment of other items such as truffles, fudge, wine, bars, the infamous pops, coffee and even white chocolate dipped dog biscuits. It's one of the only stores in the outlet which has an expresso machine which is what drew us in. S had a 16oz drip to perk him up and found it surprisingly good which says something since he's such a coffee fiend. A good find for those who are critical of their grind, but perhaps not so much for fans of the other type of bean. read more
