My vegan friends who came to visit stopped by here twice during their time here and said it was the best vegan cake they've ever had. I love seeing what new cake slice flavors they release each month. I've tried lots of different flavors but my absolute favorite is pumpkin. I wish it was all year long! Best pumpkin cake I've ever had. You really cant go wrong with any flavor. The cake is so moist and flavorful, you can tell they use high quality ingredients. The staff is always really friendly and helpful and really nice. It's truly the best dessert stop!

Spouse had a cheese cheddar scone - warm it when you get it home. I tried the vegan layered butter cream espresso cake - didn't care for it, to me it's a bit veganish - it just wasn't that good and not much espresso taste. I will make a better homemade cake to me that was a fail. Even for $12. A slice I won't eat it. I'm sure some of the others must have been better. You order, you stand and wait and still are guilted into at least a 15% tip. They don't have adequate parking and most is paid parking to run on and get a sweet treat . The pride flags - June is over - I think it might be an LGBTQ bakery, I didn't see one man working. It's larger than it appears, not for the customer area. It's clean, and the cashier is friendly enough. I disagree for having to feel I need to tip when I pay to park and walk 50 steps, and have to stand and wait for my order. I saw another poor review posted on the wall and then it was recindered (maybe after public humiliation they marked it thst way, I wasn't impressed with that it seems like bullying. My review will probably end up on the wall, but that's cool. I doubt I will be back.

We came 30 minutes after they opened and their cake selection was not ready yet unfortunately. If you want the full menu come a few hours after opening. The prices for the tiered menu is a little wild for me. However, their prices for the regular food and drinks are reasonable. The sandwich was delicious, and a very good size to split. However they do charge a $2 sharing fee which i find silly when places do this. Their drinks were also very yummy and the caramel latte had a cute caramel swirl on the foam. The table placements are so gorgeous and just a lovely vibe overall. I do wish there was maybe a wall barrier or divider from the cafe and the shop because it does feel very cluttered and compact. The customer service is AMAZING. They have such kind people working. I called in to make a reservation and the lady that picked up was so kind and patient explaining all the levels of the services. The baristas were so so sweet and easy to talk with. Genuinely the best customer service i have ever had at a cafe.

The desserts are also never too overly sweet. And this Bakery does lots of unique flavors (black sesame, ube, pandan, matcha, biscoff) that are hard to find at other Asian bakeries while also getting the flavors spot on. I've tried a variety of cakes, tiramisu, and cream puffs, and nothing disappoints. The cakes are always moist even after a few days in the fridge. Depending on the timing of when you want the cake or cream puff, I think usually you should place your order within a few weeks in advance.

It's quiet enough but they had a great playlist on when I was in here which I thoroughly enjoyed. The service was great and kind and she brought my order to my table for me since I ordered food which was appreciated. I got a vanilla latte and their breakfast sandwich which comes with bacon, egg, cheese, spinach, and a pesto aioli. The pesto aioli definitely ties the whole sandwich together and was a great pop of flavor. I'm a pesto fan in general so I loved it. The latte was also delicious, no complaints. Overall was a great visit and their WiFi is fast and easy to connect to. Adding this to the usual rotation!

We also got a hot chocolate with whipped cream and a 4oz frozen yogurt cup. It was self serve but unlike other froyo places there were no scales at the end. There is only 4-6 flavors, and we chose chocolate which had a good creamy texture and tasted like chocolate, no sour notes. We loaded it up with toppings and my daughter really enjoyed the experience to choose everything. We will get a larger cup next time I think. The place has good vibes, it feels like a good local spot, with plenty of welcoming touches. Service was prompt and it wasn't much of a wait. We will be back to try more since the location is great for the library or park activities.

I finally recently got to try this local homemade ice cream place in downtown Puyallup that seems…read moreto be quite popular. The space is a bit awkward when a lot of people come, which I think a few other reviewers noted here. They have the cashier handle only one customer at a time with samples and putting in the order, so the line can move kind of slowly. The menu offers a variety of standard ice cream flavors like vanilla and strawberry along with a few combo and unique flavors like chocolate peanut butter banana and matcha strawberry. They also have a vegan ice cream and sorbets and ice cream cookie sandwiches. The price structure is not really budget friendly...They only offer single scoops and up starting at $5.50 and only have a waffle cone option or in a cup (no cake cone, my favorite T_T ). The peanut butter chocolate banana was a bit too dense and peanut heavy for my preference, so I ended up getting a scoop of the strawberry ice cream. It had a good strong strawberry flavor. With each bite, I could imagine them cooking down strawberries with sugar and then blending that it into the ice cream base. It was very good if a tad too sweet for my preference. Overall, it reminded me of Haagen-Daaz. So, in all, this is good quality, local ice cream and a few other ice cream treats at premium prices, but the spacing and service workflow could use some reimagining.

So five stars and a review based on my observations as the spouse of a Dairy Bar ice cream loving man! Ha! We all have our Fair favorites. I need a scone and he needs an ice cream cone every time we go. And the Dairy Bar does not disappoint. Go early if you can- after dinner time the line is often about 20 minutes long. For the Spring Fair just the outside walk-up window is open. But for the fall Puyallup Fair the larger restaurant space is open. No tables and chairs but they usually have benches and definitely more service windows open inside. The line moves relatively quickly considering how many people are here. We always have great service and the counter staff is so friendly! Really - this type of customer service is so admirable considering they serve thousands of ice cream treats a day! The menu is nice and simple: Ice cream. Vanilla, chocolate or Strawberry. They can do swirls of two flavors too. My husband loves the vanilla and chocolate swirl cones. I swear as soon as they hand it to him he's immediately transported back to childhood. It's really sweet to see that gleeful sparkle in his eye when they hand over the giant swirl cone. I think this is a common occurrence here- lots and lots of families lined up always for that taste of sweet ice cream from the Dairy Farmers of Washington!
