I had probably spent hours looking at different cake pictures to get an idea of what I might want, I sort of explained to her what I might want, and she had this great idea which was different than what I had thought about, but after thinking it over for a day or so, I thought her idea would be amazing and it was! My grandma almost cried when she saw her beautiful cake. It was a white basket with light pink roses. The actual cake was delicious. It was chocolate cake - the actual cake was dense yet melty and flaky, I'm not explaining it right, it was just a perfect cake texture! We had a butter cream between the three layers and fondant to make the "basket" texture. She did pink sugar roses - they were perfect and my grandmother LOVED it!!
