This place has been on my bucket list for when I visit Tacoma. It did not disappoint! The portion sizes are huge and they have good pricing for all that you get. The egg puff waffle creations can be shared, it's so huge! We'd were bummed that they missed putting Nutella on it but it was so good we didn't notice until we were done. They have a wall full of options of so many desserts, In was quite overwhelmed! Highly recommend and we'll be back!
There's no where else in the area that I know of where you can get Taiwanese Snow Ice. It's something me and my family have loved for many years so as soon as we found out about this place I definitely knew we were coming. The shop is easy to find in the Winco parking lot. You walk in and there is a digital menu behind the cashier and also a chalkboard menu on a big wall when you walk in. Staff was friendly and nice. They were wiping down tables in between service which was nice because there were only about 6 or 7 tables and they were busy. I did notice they have board games to play at your table during the visit so I thought that was a nice touch. A laid back and chill vibe. The menu offers a variety of options. Milkshakes, Snow Ice, bubble tea, bubble waffle and more. In regards to the snow ice, you can pick one of their premade combos for the set price or you can do a build your own. My only complaint for the build your own is the price for EACH additional topping is $1 to $1.50. So if you wanted to make your own combo with the similar number of toppings as one of theirs listed, you would be paying so much more. I have to admit I was really shocked at this and thought the toppings should have been priced less and more affordable. Even though the price gauge for making your own was more, we did make our own. I wanted Honeydew and they had no honeydew option. I just had to choose my toppings wisely. I went with red bean and rainbow mochi and condensed milk drizzle. Typically, you would be able to egg pudding at a snow place so hopefully they add this to their menu, because I really wanted egg pudding. The honeydew snow was prominent with the honeydew flavor. It was light, creamy and delicious. A little more sweet than I was expecting but everything I wanted it to be and more. My husband went with the Ube with passion fruit jelly and he thought similar. That the snow ice was very sweet. He felt like the ube wasn't as creamy as the honeydew but to me it was still good. I'd definitely come back when in the area.
Let It Snow is a nice little shop in a large shopping plaza, so parking was very easy. Overall, 3.5 stars Simple decorations with a wall that has their menu items. A few tables inside to be able to sit and enjoy your dessert or drink. There is only one restroom. We ordered a custom snow flavor of Honeydew ice and added some toppings of grass jelly, red beans, and strawberries. Nice artificial honeydew flavoring but still a tasty dessert. Service was good.
Potential here but a disappointment. Came by for the shaved snow ice cream they make. The menu is confusing and hard to understand. They do shaved ice here as well as the shaved ice cream that is so popular in many Asian areas. Got the Rainbow Mango shaved ice cream. Wasn't as good as I have had at other places across the country. Didn't like the toppings it came with and the fresh strawberries were not ripe. Probably won't be back.
I always see Let It Snow when I go to the gym, but never was curious enough to actually go inside and see what they had on their menu. I suggested to my sister that we should go one day since we both have never been, and it is so close to us. My sister ended up going without me with her boyfriend. Then, the next day she was raving about how she wants to go back to try another flavor. So, we ended up going together the day after she went and ordered the Thai Dye Snow (Thai tea shaved ice with topped with condensed milk, fruity pebbles, and mochi) and Viet Ube (Trung Nguyen Cafe with condensed milk and ube milk tea over ice). The Viet Ube was okay. It was very coffee forward if you like that. The Thai Dye Snow was good. I really liked the mochi that they added to this item. It really enhanced the dessert. I liked the snowy texture of the shaved ice. I definitely prefer this over traditional shaved ice.
Kind people run this place! Clean areas to eat too. Really great service, welcoming to me and my kiddos! the space was clean considering the amount of sugar I alone spilled with the kids eating the delicious hawaiian shaved ice. I got the ice cream on the side since the hawaiian ice are tall anyway. the vanilla was vanilla bean flavor. I got a redbull drink, yummy too. Would return on a hot day for shaved hawaiian ice or bubble tea any time.

Me and a friend stopped in recently and it took forever to figure out what the heck we wanted cause there's an abundance of choices here ! Originally I was planning to get a drink but the word "cottonfetti" caught my eye and I ended up getting the cottonfetti ice which looked and tasted like a cotton candy ice cream with marshmallows and fruity pebbles. Very delicious if you want a sweet treat with a carnival theme !! I'd get it again but want to try a drink next time to switch it up. If you get this or any of the ices I'd say stick with the small size cause it's already so big even for the small. I couldn't quite finish it. My friend got a boba drink called "dragon lady" and she loved it so much that she was tempted to get a second one ! Overall I'd say it's a cool place to visit. Plenty of seating and games to play as well.. it's also wasn't crowded with people and the cashier was friendly so in conclusion, *Christmas music plays* LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW!
This deranged desert was absolutely amazing!!! Perfect for 2 people. Service was normal, ambushes open and friendly. Great place for date night!!!
The bubble waffle with the chocolate inside of them was a pleasant surprise. The dessert was not overly sweet at all! I also loved the vanilla ice cream with the chocolate syrup. The staff were friendly overall as well. The vibe of the location was very cozy because it's so small, yet welcoming!!
The shave ice is pretty good. I ordered the mango, pineapple, and coconut Hawaiian shave ice and my son ordered the blue raspberry and coconut. It's a good size for the price. We are going to order the Asian have ice next time.
Service was 5 star. I got Asian ice which comes with up to 6 toppings of your choice. The lychee ice I chose had nice flavor but I think I might have preferred shaved snow instead--which I found out from the staff is shaved ice cream. I usually like less sweet in the boba drinks I get but found that I would have preferred more sweet in the toppings on the ice. (The toppings are actually on the bottom so you have to eat some ice first since they fill the cup way over the top (a good thing). The sweetness level might have been fine on the snow which I assume is sweeter than ice. I will have to try the snow next time. I want to return because there is SO MUCH to try. The store was clean and neat.

This spot is in the 72nd shopping plaza near Winco, but closer to the Applebee's. They have various desserts from shaved snow aka ice that is already flavored , to waffles, egg puffs, and drinks. The store itself is pretty small inside with a few tables and seats along the front windows if memory serves me right. I ended up getting the Thai Dye coz I've been on a Thai tea kick lately. It comes with fruity pebbles, rainbow mochi and condensed milk. It was pretty decent on a hot day. My friend got the egg puffs and ate them all, so they must've been good. Lol. Staff was chill and helpful. read more

Kind people run this place! Clean areas to eat too. Cute, bright, clean shop with a very helpful (and very frank) cashier who was quick to explain ingredients to us. We asked about the blue clear tapioca. "It's just dyed blue, more chewy." When asked about the sweetness level difference between Honey Jasmine and Jasmine, "Honey is more sweet but not as tasty IMO, but it can be adjusted less sweet" Lots of combo options for drinks! We had an appointment to get to so we couldn't try the desserts, which all looked very enticing. We'll be back the next time we're in town. read more
Kiddos and I stopped here for a sweet treat after our picnic lunch at Ruston Way and some shopping. Cute little shop in a strip mall with many restaurants and shops. The gal at the counter was super sweet and patient as we pursued the large menu board. Son got the Mangonada, daughter had a Red Raspberry Green Apple Hawaiian shaved ice with popping boba and I had the Passion fruit Red Bull Lemonade. Stop by here for a cool treat or tea that will not disappoint with service served with a smile! read more

This place is one of a kind in Tacoma! They do great shaved thin sorbets and my son loved the snow cones here. Owner of the place is super nice. I bring my friends here and my family for lots of frozen treats. They actually use real and fresh fruits in their menu items. Let it snow is definitely the best snow cone places in Tacoma, I've been coming here for all my shaved ice needs for almost 2 years and always had an amazing experience. The size of their treats will blow you away. How they fit that much shaved ice in one cup is beyond me. You can barely eat it That's a good thing in my book! read more

I came in as they opened, because I was running errands and stopped by since I saw a boba shop and was craving. unfortunately they didnt open for another 10 min until 12PM but the lights opened at 11:55. The employee working at the front was super kind and helpful with recommendations. I did come here once before but it was a very long time ago. The shop was super cute and had good music. I had the Jasmine Milk Tea but unfortunately I noticed it had a weird taste to it, kind of like metal? I have been drinking boba for years now and never had it tasted like that I'm not sure what it was. The boba was nice and soft though! I really tried to finish my drink but I just couldn't. I gave 3 stars because maybe it was just a one-time poorly made drink. Overall nice place. read more
A great addition to Tacoma. Let It Snow has a large menu of desserts to choose from. From egg waffles to shaved ice, you can't go wrong. Today's order (and our first visit) consisted of ordering a medium sized Rainbow Mango. It included mango flavored ice cream that is shaved, topped with fresh strawberries, lychee and assorted jellies. The wait was quite long but it was due to customers consistently coming in to order. Th price is on par with any other asian dessert establishments in the Tacoma area, aka, a bit overpriced, but the flavor is a feast on the taste buds so, no complaints here. Our Rainbow Mango costed us $9.xx with tax. The amount was enough for two grown adults trying to control their sweet tooth. Located in the same area that WinCo is at, parking was not hard to find. The establishment itself is spacious enough during non busy hours, however, it could get very stuffy if there are a lot of people in there. I'd say there were about 20 people altogether when we came in either waiting for their order or eating in. Overall, I would return to try the other options on their menu. Im eyeing the Hawaiian shave ice for my next visit. Can't wait. read more
I really enjoyed my visit to Let It Snow for a midday treat today. I was greeted upon walking in and the entire interaction was pleasant + nice music playing inside. The entire shop is really clean inside and the restrooms were as well. Now for what I ordered: a small rainbow mango specialty snow.. very refreshing and delicious! My kids both ordered small cottonfetti specialty snows, they loved them.. I got to try a few bites also and I agree! I would definitely return to try out more of the menu as there's a lot of other things here they offer. The price for everything is pretty fair and I have no complaints. This place was firrreeee. Their brown sugar boba is amazing and I'm so excited they have coffee jelly!! My husband wanted the mango slush with the blue jelly which myself and the employee thought was weird but she happily obliged. It was so nice of her to happy about it lol. The employee was so friendly! The space was really clean covid precaution wise too. Love this place. Give it a try! read more

My roommate took me to try this place out while we were running around Tacoma all day. I didn't know much about what they served except for various desserts. I was so surprised to see this place offer a White Rabbit Milk Tea, so I had to order that (blended)! I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing this drink was. It's not overly sweet, but you can really taste the nostalgic white rabbit candy flavour! I wish more places served unique/speciality drinks like this. The customer service here was also super friendly and we were given a free Pandan Waffle to try out. Would surely come back again especially to try their shaved ice. read more

So many options to choose from... we got the shaved ice. It was so good but so big my husband and I could have shared one. We will for sure be back to try their egg puffs etc... etc.... Let it snow is located on the Northern side of LA fitness. It is adorably decorated and has a menu packed full of variety. From bubble waffles (egg puffs) to bubble tea, they have a mix of everything. I definitely recommend trying one of their specialty puffles; you can get pretty creative if you create your own. Plus they're huge! We went with the regular egg puff, cake batter snow, and a variety of toppings. It was fantastic! This would also be a great place to bring kids. read more
Really scrumptious, old-school shave ice! They had both li hing mui syrup and powder, my personal favorite flavor. Recently I had truly nasty stuff at a fair that was snow cone, not shave ice. I will be back here instead. Spent a little time chatting up the owner about the business model in winter; he was a pleasant chap. They also have have waffle-type goodies and ice cream delights, if you so desire. They appeared delicious and popular. Purty fancy. read more

I don't think you understand how refreshing it is to eat and drink something that is unique. This isn't just a regular bubble tea place, but they are legitimately innovating something I thought was static. Ever had a green tea thai tea? Come try it and you'll never go back to the regular way. Ever have a dense bubble waffle? Come try it and you'll always want it this way. They have made a delicious menu in an unassuming location and I can't wait to keep eating through their menu. read more
