I really enjoy having bingsoo and this place didn't disappoint. I've been here before and wanted to take my parents since they've never tried. They really liked it. It's similar to the Filipino halo halo and Hawaiian shave ice! Both of best worlds to make this Korean treat. The ambience is hip and different- saw people having group talks, families, Students working on assignments- which was cool. They have water if you ask, and different foods but mostly friend. We just had the bingsoo which was delcious and hit the spot. Def come back again!!!

Really welcoming staff. At 11am (when they opened) there were 3 other people waiting for them to open (as we did). Nice spacious location, quiet and a good place to hang and/or get work done. (Note: it was a Tuesday at 11am). The waffle with ice cream and fruits was a nice $13 for a pretty big plate! 2 hotteoks for $8 (pretty sure they're freezer section ones that you can get at hmart?) Americano and Thai tea took some time but they had just opened so I'm sure it took time.

T-town has become a Lakewood staple! The vibes are always so relaxed whenever I visit. The bulgogi fries are a must order and portions are great. A friend and I tried the fried cheese balls (cream cheese) and taiyaki and they were pretty good. I'm so glad this place has stayed in business all these years.

Ube ice cream is around $7, it taste very water down. I don't recommend getting it if you are looking for a strong Ube flavor.

The green milk tea was surprisingly really good. I can taste the actual tea and the boba pearls were alright. I will say I tried the other drinks and the overall trend was that everything was a little too sweet. We weren't asked about any sweetness adjustments so I assume it's just the same for all drinks. The place looks like a chill place to sit and hang though!

Fries and a matcha soft serve

T-Town is kind of a self-serve type of cafe. You come in, place and order, get a buzzer, pick up your food, and bus your own table. The convenience of it is nice. There is a parking lot but it can get busy. I tried the matcha soft serve which had a really nice matcha flavor. The soft serve had a good texture and the fries went with it well as I love dipping my fries in ice cream.

all the food and drinks are top-notch and so tasty! wide variety of options to choose from and ample, inviting space to converse and study in! I go out of my way to get some work done in here once a week. I would say service is the best part, they take orders swiftly and deliver fresh amazing food in a timely manner!

This place has pretty good korean desserts, snacks, coffee, smoothies, tayakis, and ice cream! My kids love their nutella amd custard tayakis. They are made fresh to order, so he prepared to wait a bit. I had their black sesame snow with rice cakes, red bean, and ice cream on top. Wow!!!! How did they make that snow?! It was so delicious!

Very cute inside. A bit of a wait but it was worth it. The custard Taiyaki with Ube soft serve was very good.

I took my daughter here to get a sweet treat after golfing and this was the perfect spot. The staff was friendly as they informed us about the different options, gave us samples of the ice cream, as well as complimentary water cups. Pictured Left: cotton candy ice cream with fruity pebbles and sprinkles with nutella filled taiyaki Right: mint chocolate chip ice cream with fruity pebbles and pocky with Nutella filled taiyaki.

We were excited to stop in today, as I have been wanting to check T-Town Cafe out and we happened to be in the area. What a cute place! It's very relaxing and much bigger on the inside than you'd think when driving up. We tried the potato corn dog with just cheese (it typically comes with meat and cheese, but you can specify just cheese for an extra $0.50), and 2 Nutella Taiyakis. Wow! Everything was so good. I was blown away by the Taiyaki. Not overly sweet at all. The corn dogs do come with toppings. I thought there was going to be ketchup and mustard, but it appeared to be ketchup and another sauce. I'm not really sure. It was good, but I might opt out of the toppings next time. Personal preference. Either way, a lovely experience and kind wait staff.

T town is a fave! We live about 30 minutes away but still make a point to come here for fresh taiyaki and delicious food. I've also had the black sesame toast and it's amazing. The service is very friendly but a bit slow as they make everything fresh. The space is large with lots of seating options, and very instagrammable. Definitely recommend!

I'm SO glad we came by! We were driving through Tacoma to get lunch nearby and decided we wanted to find somewhere for dessert before getting back on the road again and found this place. We ordered two versions of the soft serve - one with the taiyaki cone (with red bean inside) and the other with hotteok and chocolate sauce. I LOVED IT. The texture of the soft serve is unique and it's so hard for me to find places that don't have a creamy, milky, soft serve - it's hard to explain but it's my favorite texture. The taiyaki and hotteok were also pretty delicious and reminds me of my childhood as these were pretty common snacks. I saw that you could buy just the taiyaki or hotteok if you didn't want the soft serve but the prices were wild to me ($9 for two pieces of hotteok?? Just make it yourself or go to Boo Han or somewhere that makes them street food style). The prices for the soft serve were more reasonable and I think you could get more than one topping without additional charge but I'm not certain. Overall I loved this and would gladly go back again whenever I'm down that way.

Do you carry Plain Cheese Corn Dogs ? There is an establishment in Federal Way that has Cheese Potato Corn Dogs and its a bit of a drive...Would rather keep it local and hometown spot if available!

They have potato corn dogs and no potato corn dogs. You can request either to be made with no meat.

Do they use any delivery services (Uber Eats, Grubhub, DoorDash)?

    No I don't think so

    What does T-town stand for?

    Tacoma town I believe.

Would it be weird if I ordered something & stayed awhile to study?

Not at all! It's a pretty good study spot. I've seen handfuls of people do their homework/studying there while having some of their sweet serve ups.

Do they offer alternative milks for the boba such as soy or almond milk?

    Yeaup! We offer both

It's been quite long that I don't see they have green tea soft serve anymore (only vanilla and ube). Will they have it back or completely stop making green tea flavor? Because tbh that's the only reason for me to come here :((

Hey! Thanks for reaching out. We are actually doing green tea soft serve right now! We were doing vanilla and ube for a while and recently switched to green tea. We’re working on having all flavors available. It’s in the works but in the meantime… Read more

Do they have vegan ice cream?

I don't believe so. The only option they have is vanilla and green tea.

The shop itself is pretty small with only a few seats and tables and there wasn't any customers present when I first walked in but it has a nice aesthetic going on so I'd imagine it would be an ideal place to chill with friends if you're craving boba; otherwise, nothing wrong with picking up your fave drinks and skedaddling home either. There was just one employee behind the counter when I entered the shop, but it wasn't busy so it was fine and once more people started coming in after me and a line was forming, another employee showed up to help out. The service was actually really good though, and the worker was super nice, quick, and got my order right even though he was solo at first. I ordered three drinks: the taro Oreo slush, coconut matcha latte, and Thai tea (with boba in the last two), and they were all SOOO good. The drinks were super creamy and flavorful, and the boba was made really well. Like soft and chewy, not hard at all. I also got two macarons (a créme brulée and a matcha), and omgoth, they're not the tiny ones you usually see. They're pretty big and thick, which explains the approximate $4.50 price, but they were totally worth it. Definitely suggest trying at least one. There's a lot of parking since it's in an Asian plaza, but it does get really busy because Sol Boba is right next to H Mart, so there was practically no parking in front of the shop and I feel like the spaces are kinda tight. There is banner/sign saying "under new management" at the front, but since this was my first time visiting, I can't really say much on that?
