I love this place so much! I used to come here every now and then, then I moved away to another state for a couple years and recently moved back to Washington and tea at Jade Lounge is what I have been craving and feeling like what I need to heal my heart and soul today! I got the "antisocial butterfly" which is a rose, lychee and raspberry lemonade topped with coconut jelly and butterfly pea tea! It was everything I could dream of and more! I'll be back again for this drink and my other fave: Rose all Day when I'm in the area !!
Absolute favorite boba tea place! Of any place in Western Washington - this is our top favorite. There are so many tea options between the flavors, the add-ins, whether you want hot or cold, etc. There have been several times we came and my order came out inaccurate -- each time it was a particular male worker making my drink, but I didn't catch his name, and I generally order two drinks and save one for the next morning, so I don't catch it quick enough to have it fixed. When the drinks are made correctly, they're delicious. My top 2 favorite drinks : (cold) Caramel Apple Pop with strawberry popping boba (chai) and (warm) Witches Brew. (Red beans = protein which makes me feel like it's healthy-ish) My kids favorite is the black sugar milk tea with zero toppings. We've each tried other drinks, but while others are delicious, these are our top favorites- and for me I can't find anything similar to my faves at any other tea place, nor coffee stand. I so wish Jade Lounge was also in Olympia! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe of the shop is also fun - we've played Boba Bingo in the back and it's always a fun activity.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Customer service is sometimes great, and other times not the most welcoming. Just depends on which worker is available. It can sometimes be hard to get someone's attention to be able to order. We've been at least a dozen times at this point.
Five stars for the matchas and fruity teas. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store is also super cute and comfortable to sit in and relax for a bit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The workers are kind. I will say I am not a fan of their milk teas- the tea is too weak to balance out the milk. I don't think they intend for it to be a focal point to be fair- the milk teas aren't on the large menu board with their featured beverages . The regular boba is just ok but the jellies and popping ones are great. They have great customization options. The strawberry matcha was my favorite and then I found the strawberry mango matcha and that one is even better (& a work of art). The matcha isn't too sweet which is great.

Went to Jade Lounge for the first time today and ordered the "Peach for the Sky'" fruit tea. I initially wanted a different drink I saw on their menu online but didn't see it when I got to the place. I assume it's a seasonal drink but the Peach for the Stars was a really delicious and refreshing drink. You can really taste the peach flavor. The service was ok because when I arrived it looked liked only one person was running both the cashier and making the drink. The worker was nice and friendly. Got an ad on social media saying that this place was open late after a concert and I had to go! After the concert, this place was packed and busy but the staff was so nice and helpful in discussing drink options and making recommendations. We got there around the time things started to run out so we adjusted our original order but it was still delicious and the perfect amount of sweet and flavor! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place itself is super cute and has really nice seating inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu has lots of options with different flavor variations that all sounded delicious! I'd recommend trying if you're in the need for a nice refreshing drink!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Jade Lounge has a charming vibe and a cozy seating area perfect for relaxing, gaming, or just hanging out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I tried the Princess Peach bubble tea and requested light ice with 25% sugar. While the sweetness was just right, I was a bit disappointed to find that the drink was filled with 75% ice instead of the expected amount. On the other hand, my husband's Ube Ca Phe was absolutely delicious--so much so that I'll be ordering it next time. Overall, Jade Lounge is a cute spot worth checking out, though I hope they fine-tune the customization options for drinks.

Ok wow, first thought, transcending the game. I got the strawberry matcha with cold foam and instantly, the sweetness of the strawberries complimented the matcha so well. It manages to be sweet and the matcha helps balance it out. The service was nice and they were pretty fast with it. (Keep in mind that they have a 10% tap to pay fee) It makes for a nice hangout/study spot too with the free WiFi and decent hours. read more
Jade Lounge is of course a boba and milk tea spot, but it's a little bit different imo from many of the other boba and milk tea places that I've gone to. They have a great selection of unique and interesting combinations that I haven't seen elsewhere, such as the Strawberry Hendrix and the Froot Loop. They also serve traditional milk tea, and you can fully customize your drink with a variety of syrups, fill ins, and toppings. Other drinks include coffee, fruit tea, and lemonade. If you're lactose intolerant they have almond milk, coconut milk, lactose free milk, soy milk, and oat milk! (Cost): $10.92 + tip (Location): [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is beautifully decorated and while not that big, there are quite a few places to sit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's near a normally busy shopping area that has a Target, Walmart, Crumbl, and etc. There is plenty of parking. I was in the area after dinner and had a slight sweet tooth, craving a good boba drink. I ordered the blueberry matcha with extra boba. It was quick to order and quick to get our drinks. Inside feels like a cool boba tea cafe with seating and a unique lounge area. I'd like to go back to see if they offer reduced sugar or milk alternative options next time. read more

Finally was able to stop by after eyeing this place for a year now!! The cutest cafe ever with unique Asian style drinks! The drinks range from fruity drinks such as dragons breath (what I ordered) to curated drinks such as pink starburst with dragonfruit and pineapple mixed in milk tea. Their limited time new drinks, such as sesame noir and mango milk tea, were all sold out but they had plenty of other flavors to try. Free WiFi. Free parking. And a quiet place on Sunday! I was the only one here. They have maybe ~3 outlets for people. My order, dragon breath, is sweet and refreshing. It's a mix of dragonfruit and lychee with black tea and popping boba. It tastes a smidge like watermelon. I would ask them to half the sweetness next time and use more tea but otherwise quite tasty! Great study vibes! read more

Visited on a Saturday afternoon and there was a long line. Waited about 10 minutes before ordering and waited about 15 minutes for my drink to be ready. There is limited seating, but most people tend to sit and wait vs sit and stay. Was super excited to try this place out as they have my favorite bubble tea flavor, Hojicha! With that, I will be a little biased with this review as the best Hojicha Bubble Tea i had was in Canada. This place did not match my expectations. Tasted more milk than the Hojicha flavor itself. The black sugar boba though was gummy/sticky vs chewy. Overall, I will come back and give them a second chance with a different drink. read more

This was my sister's and I's first time at Jade Lounge since I have been on the prowl to try to new boba shops in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area. We ordered two drinks off the curated menu; Blackpink (strawberry milk tea / Oreo crumbs / chocolate drizzle / whipped cream) and You're My Ubae (ube coconut milk tea / honey boba / ube whipped cream). These were both pretty unique flavors and not your typical boba/milk tea to order. The menu also changes seasonally, so I am excited to visit this place throughout the year to see what new drinks are being curated! read more

The staff is so goofy and fun from their Instagram and other social media. It was so nice to see part of the Asian community outside of international district. Congratulations on one year!! The place had small businesses inside their store and all the stuff was SO CUTE. The drinks were delicious, and they must because busy since some items were sold out. I was fortunate enough to be invited to a Yelp Elite Experience event that allowed us to get a free drink from here. I have had this place bookmarked since they opened but never got a chance to go due to my busy schedule. Now, with a reason to visit, my boyfriend and I decided to try out this boba spot! When we arrived, we saw there were a few tables and chairs outside which is nice and appreciated! As we entered, we were greeted warmly by the cashier and then saw the large menu of what they offered. I appreciate the large text for the menu as I feel that other boba places have much smaller text, and if they have a lot of options, then it is even harder to read, even with glasses. Luckily, that is not an issue as they bold and large text to read even from a distance and have three different menus to allow for easy visibility and viewing. We also loved the creative names and puns of their creations. Furthermore, I love that they have a small or kid section that features smaller drinks for those who don't drink as much. We ende up going with a Java Chai and a Just Dew You. The cashier showed great and warm customer service for both of us as he purchased his drink while I received mine for free. The drinks came out quickly as there was only one order ahead of us and one after us. I think their sealed tops are very sturdy in comparison to other places. Additionally, for my drink, I received a mini version as they made a little much and the fact they had already put it in a cup and were very kind about giving it to me was so sweet. This business truly cares for their customers and strives to make your experience a good one. Lastly, they have plenty of seating inside and even a cute, cozy corner that is perfect taking pictures or selfies. As a newer boba spot, I've had Jade Lounge on my to visit list for a while. Up north, I think there are better boba spots but I think Jade Lounge is one of the better ones down south at the moment. Holistically, it has wifi for studying, physical games for groups, solid drinks, and ample parking. While these points are usually the same for boba cafes that rely on powder (and aren't as good), Jade Lounge has solid ingredients. Cups are 21oz. They also offer the drinks in blended form, as in blended with ice like more of a slush for an additional charge. Apparently all milk teas are non-dairy so they must have a milk substitute because they're still creamy. My slightly lactose self wasn't dying, so I assume there is no dairy. Their motto is (Ta)sty (Co)ffee (Ma)de Here where the first two letters of the first three words spell Tacoma. I suppose that means the coffee is recommended, but I'm more of a tea (and boba) guy. Worth considering the coffee though. We had a variety of milk teas. Boba is chewy, well cooked, but flavor is inconsistent. Sometimes it's sweet and flavorful whereas other times it's flavorless but still chewy, so great texture. Mango Milk Tea w/ Boba and Lychee Jelly - one of the kids loves lychee jelly with fruit flavored milk teas but hasn't had mango milk tea so he opted for this. It was sweet and had strong flavor, but the tea was a bit clouded in the creaminess. King Brulee - brulee milk teas are popular these days so I've had my fair share. Overall, I've had better, the creme brulee wasn't really present with this one. I maybe had two or three sips with a crispy sugar brulee piece. Not as much tea, more of a brown sugar fresh milk drink. Thai Milk Tea w/ Boba - like most Thai teas, nothing crazy but it hits the spot. Simple, consistent, and you know what you're getting. Basically a creamy, spiced black tea. Strawberry Milk Tea w/ Boba - pictured is double boba, for reference. Basic strawberry milk tea that's very much strawberry milk. Creamy and flavorful. Eye of the Thai-ger - nice that they offer Thai green or regular Thai tea. The syrup drizzle on the side adds some sweetness but it felt more aesthetic than anything. Thai tea tasted creamy and slightly spiced, but overall the drink isn't any different than a Thai tea. Comes with boba already included. Black Sugar Milk Tea - not pictured, but the kids also had this. Essentially the house milk tea, a black milk tea with maybe some extra sugar. Strong tea yet creamy, perfect for any newcomer to boba (which we had) or a basic option. Black Sugar Matcha - it's matcha with milk tea, just as the description says. Maybe a thin layer of whipped cream on top, but since the cup is sealed, this is pretty irrelevant. Plus you'll mix it, so that whipped cream really doesn't do much. There's a strong, creamy black tea with a matcha after taste. The matcha is grind pretty finely so you don't get any large particles. read more

Jade Lounge!!! Inviting, warm, and cozy environment. They have a small lounge area with a couch and few seats. They also offer a variety of board games! I absolutely love boba here and the King Brûlée drink!! The staff here are super friendly and treat people with the utmost kindness and love! Great customer service and social media presence. Jade offers a variety of drinks but BY FAR my favorite and usual order is the King Brûlée! They also have a topping to add the Brûlée to any drink! We were craving some boba but wanted to try somewhere new! Upon walking in, the first thing we noticed was the cute aesthetic. There's a cute lounge area! The menu is pretty big. We decided to order from the curated menu and got the "YOURE MY UBAE" and the "Hello Kitty". We actually didn't like the UBAE one at all, it was very sour tasting and really watered down tasting... we were too shy to ask for a remake or a new drink so we just purchased a new one which was the Lychee Licious. The fruit tea was really watered down for us. The Hello Kitty was really good though, a little watered down as well, but love the rose milk tea. We REALLY wanted to like this place but we just didn't... the menu is so convincing and the other reviews. There's also ramen bowls they sell and microwave for you. They have so many drink creations that are pretty cool. The service when ordering is usually pretty good and they're willing to give recommendations; however the wait for drinks is pretty lengthy even when there may only seem to be one or two orders ahead. The inside of this shop is really cute and seems like a place I'd want to meet with friends to chat. They also have good music. The drinks are pretty good, my favorite is the king brûlée, but I've literally added the crème brûlée topping to a jasmine tea and it was good. I really like that they also have hot drinks! read more

Another new boba shop in Tacoma! Jade Lounge took over the location of the Bertolinos and it's definitely a welcomed addition to me. The overall vibe is super cozy and comfortable and like bertolinos, this is a great spot for studying and doing homework. I got the Starboy and king brûlée. Both tasted great! Super flavorful and fair prices. Great customer service too. Everyone there is so nice! Definitely coming back; super excited to try their other drinks. read more
