The South Tacoma outpost of Bluebeard is in a cool, large industrial space. Coffee is excellent as always and there's enough space to hunker down with your laptop if you've got work to do. Just tends to be a little spendy, though maybe everything is these days. I don't usually buy craft lattes but I splurged and was a little shocked at how much it cost me. I'm usually a simple doppio and cortado girl.

What a cute hidden gem! the interior was so aesthetically pleasing and very open concept layout! we ordered 2 matchas & flavor wise super delicious!! However they did both have clumps so we were a little bummed about that. The barista who helped us however was super helpful and described to us all the options abatible as well as pastries they offer. really cute spot for work meeting or a cute study cafe

Nice little coffee / pastry shop. Good area to work and hang out. Nice location to meet up with people as well. The croissant and the brioche were pretty good (they said they were stuffed but the filling was not really in it). Coffee was good too.

Amazing coffee and a god environment to get some work done. Highly recommend them for the coffee quality and amount of seating.

This Bluebeard Coffee location is the second to open in Tacoma. The original is on 6th Avenue. And while I like that location fine it's always very busy and sometimes even finding seating can be a challenge. Parking isn't great either. While the second location doesn't necessarily have high marks for close parking either it does have a more spacious feel to it as it is not nearly as busy which is nice. It's not dead either, there are plenty of customers there too but it's not congested as much and finding a place to sit is not hard to do. I got a latte that was on their specials which I believe was called the Pistola. It had a spicy kick to it which was really nice and Steve and I split a slice of Raspberry Cake. It's great another coffee shop opened not far from our home to go and enjoy. There are more and more good ones popping up in the surrounding area of where we live and we are thrilled by that idea!

There isn't a clear sign so I was unsure until I walked up to the door. It's spacious but it's loud! I got a decaf Americano so I can't judge for their regular coffee.. it was okay. Service is alright, I didn't feel all that welcomed but it' wasn't like I was ignored either. There's definitely some room for improvement.

The employees here are really nice, and the coffee beans are some of the most vibrant and packed with flavor (my preference) due to the experimental techniques used and their careful sourcing. The espresso drinks include classics, but also a lot of cool twists and syrups too. Pastries are excellent. The goat cheese chimichurri was so good and savory, and vibrant herbs and spices. Definitely a must-stop for my Tacoma visits!

It is located only a 5-minute drive from the car museum. We got yummy Smashburgers (comes with chips) and fries at Canteen by Camp Colvos. For drinks, we got a couple of sodas at Canteen, a Willie Maize Hazy IPA on tap at the 7 Seas bar, and I tried a refreshing Lavender Patch (16 oz iced sparkling espresso with lavender syrup and yuzu lemonade) at Naomi Joe Coffee. They have some pinball machines, free water at the back, and a party room you can rent. As with most breweries, it is family-friendly. I love the laid-back and friendly atmosphere of this place. They sell cool merch and have a neat display in honor of the historic Heidelberg Brewing Company of Tacoma that dates back to 1912.

I had been seeing some NA cocktails on my social media feed and saw that Soulberry Coffee House stocks them. Figured it is better to try them one by one rather than committing to a subscription order online. They have great coffee and pastries, from what I tried. I got a muffin, donut, and turnover and the latte of the month. Looks like their specialty is coffee and mocktails. I believe they roast their own coffee. They have a pretty good size mocktail menu. They sell packaged NA RTDs, as well as alcohol free/removed wines and spirits, bitters, syrups, elderberry syrup, fired cider, honey, teas and more. The folks at the counter were friendly and welcoming. They also had some alcohol free/removed wines out for complimentary tasting. The one I tried was surprisingly delicious. It appears they have some sort of loyalty program at checkout, but I am unsure of the details. I forgot to ask about military discount. I would definitely come back.

Incredible roasts, great pourover, friendly staff, what's not to love?…read more Most recent visit to Outer Dark I got my first anaerobic pourover: the pink bourbon, very sweet and vivid. It was a very nice smooth cup, an excellent introduction to anaerobics, which I'd never tried before. I also got a couple different bags to take home. The In Bloom, which is the spring seasonal, impressed me by its consistency across multiple years, which is not always achievable in a seasonal. The subtle effervescent quality, the jasmine and honeysuckle, are just what I remember from last year. But the real reason I am writing this review is the Vivanco anaerobic, which I am drinking right now. I've done it as a v60 pourover (4:6, coffee nerds, with emphasis on the first two pours) and I think this is the best cup I've ever had. First, the aroma is *so cocoa nib adjacent* that if you blindfolded me I could have been convinced I was making brewing cocoa. And the first sip *tastes like* brewing cocoa, but then intense juicy cherry and orange zest come out, and then as it cools further I get the warm baked-good brownie notes. This coffee just goes *so well with itself*. Do yourself a favor and pick up a bag. Before I buy it all.
