The staff is incredibly friendly, the menu feels refined without being overcomplicated, and I already know what I'm ordering when I walk through the door: the Gemini Latte. It's my go-to and always the drink I recommend to someone visiting for the first time. For a local business that has been around for a while, product availability should be much more dialed in. Weekend demand, back-to-school changes, seasonal patterns, and other fluctuations are things that can be tracked and planned for using basic sales data. I've had to relocate business coffee meetings on four separate occasions because they were short on food, again. That's especially unfortunate to them as a business, because I typically spend $30-$35 when I'm there with a client, 8-12 times/month, which I gladly redirecting elsewhere (~$4k loss in annual business for Lander), not to mention the clients I brought often ended up revisiting, as most of them were new to the location. At this point, I've essentially given up on using this place for meetings. Most unfortunate, go me, is that I genuinely like the staff and the service. In this day and age, with the technology and data available to understand purchasing patterns and customer demand, consistently having enough food on hand should be a solvable problem. Isolated events happen, but the frequency shows a lack of tracking business metrics by ownership.
