The location itself is hard to beat, being situated in the triangular end of one of the theater district's most iconic historic buildings (the Bostwick). The drinks are consistently good and fairly priced for the area. There's ample room to sit and enjoy the views of the theaters. A great place to stop by if you're doing some shopping on Antique Row or about to catch a performance. The Broadway Farmers' Market is also just a few steps away, so all in all it's in a very convenient part of one of Tacoma's handful of truly pedestrian friendly neighborhoods.

My boyfriend and I have stopped by here for coffee and breakfast sandwiches twice before this recent visit and let me tell you that they always taste amazing! We came here again as BECU is currently hosting an event where they let you enjoy a free drink on them and Campfire Coffee was one of the businesses that is participating! It's been a while since we stopped by so we decided to stop by again. I saw on Yelp that dogs were allowed but they are not, however they do offer a generous pup cup! I was greeted by an female employee and she was very professional, kind and patient as I was trying to decide what to get. She also showed that same positive attitude and mannerism with the customers ahead of me as well. The interior is so cozy and they even have a campfire set up which is great for photo ops or just to hang out at. Additionally, they have a corner with shelves of different things to enjoy while you're there too! I went ahead and got one of their seasonal specials: Grandma's Cabin Energy with light ice and my boyfriend got their Peppermint Mocha. I appreciate that she asked me to make sure I liked it before I left but she nailed it, all the flavors came through and it was the right amount of ice! The drink was so good that I forgot to take a picture! Love that they don't upcharge on flavors especially when a lot of other coffee shops do. We also had a conversation about how they have different seasonal menus and look forward making more creative drinks in the future. So glad to see that they are still making fantastic drinks, have stellar service, and offer unique drinks and food/treats.

The employees here are really nice, and the coffee beans are some of the most vibrant and packed with flavor (my preference) due to the experimental techniques used and their careful sourcing. It is located only a 5-minute drive from the car museum. We got yummy Smashburgers (comes with chips) and fries at Canteen by Camp Colvos. For drinks, we got a couple of sodas at Canteen, a Willie Maize Hazy IPA on tap at the 7 Seas bar, and I tried a refreshing Lavender Patch (16 oz iced sparkling espresso with lavender syrup and yuzu lemonade) at Naomi Joe Coffee. They have some pinball machines, free water at the back, and a party room you can rent. As with most breweries, it is family-friendly. I love the laid-back and friendly atmosphere of this place. They sell cool merch and have a neat display in honor of the historic Heidelberg Brewing Company of Tacoma that dates back to 1912.

The espresso tasted quite bitter and my drink wasn't good. When I arrived, the barista, who I believe may have been the owner, was sitting at one of the tables talking with a friend. After I walked up to the counter, it took about two minutes for her to come over and take my order, as there was no other barista working. On a positive note, the café itself is very cute and aesthetically decorated. I especially loved the inspirational quotes displayed on the tables. They also had a shelf featuring crafts made by a local artist, which I thought was a wonderful way to support the community. Husband and I haven't gotten anything that was disappointing. Jason really knows how to make the perfect cup of coffee every time. They also have delicious concoctions of Lotus Energy Drinks. I often end up with two drinks: a coffee for now, and a Lotus for later. They also have wonderful treats like macarons, cake pops, breakfast burritos and sandwiches. They definitely got me hooked on the macarons! I wish I still had all my photos to post here. I post them on Instagram, but I keep forgetting to post on Yelp. Hahah. Anyways, overall, every drink is phenomenal.
