we're visiting & it's just such a cute coffee shop! i'm in love with the decor and just how cute their work area behind the counter is! the coffee itself was tasty and rich, and they had their own list of special lattes as well. the baristas were all so kind & patient while our group decided what to get. they answered all our questions, and was happy with all our selections!

I've been in twice in the last two weeks -- I really love it here. It's got the sweetest vibe with butter yellow walls, macrame tapestries, and handmade ceramic coffee cups. They also make their own syrups which has gotten kinda rare in Tacoma and which I love, especially since they're creative with their flavors. I particularly love the smoky syrup which is featured in the Lapsang Suchong Latte. The barista had described it as "almost savory." I wouldn't go that far but it certainly was different and I LOVED it. The only downside is that there isn't always room to sit on a weekend morning, but it's a small price to pay.

The Partridge latte

Partridge coffee with pear juice and other flavors- seasonal, yum. I learned the syrups and other flavors are homemade. Friendly, wonderful coffee, amazing little pastry treats, decent breakfast sandwiches.

Such a happening spot on a Sunday. I hadn't been in a few years, and I tried the log cabin tea - it was AMAZING. I'm a tea gal, and I've never had a smoky tea before. Highly recommend. Also so many kind folks working

Customer service was top tier during my visit today! Staff was very patient and amazing to talk to. Today I tried The Patridge iced latte - their syrups are made in house, this one has cardamom and pear, unique. Honestly, I love trying different things, but this was a little too sweet for my liking and the flavor profile was too much to enjoy my apple turnover-croissant pastry. The latte is very creamy and the quality of the flavors/coffee is good, but next time I'll stick to a regular latte. Overall, I am still on the quest for the best Tacoma coffee spot during my visit here (See my profile for other cofffee shops I've tried in the Tacoma area). EDIT: I was informed this is a "no risk" coffee shop, and made me a new drink I tried a rose and white chocolate latte - which was way too kind! Braxton, Tima and Jeff were amazing! Thank you for such superb customer service.

Here's what I loved about this coffee shop: the coffee is really good. So are the croissants and hot chocolate. The staff is friendly amd welcoming. The ambience is really chill and has unique characteristics. I can totally come back here again. Highly recommend it!

pastries they have- love how they organized them savory vs sweet.

Cute coffee shop and somewhere to lounge or chat. It's got a bright and homey atmosphere -- kind of reminds me of "grandmas kitchen" with some of her grandkids hip touches. They have seasonal drinks as well! They make their own unique syrups and little assortment of baked goods. They use local beans from a roaster in Seattle and up for purchase as well. The workers are always so nice!

The staff and environment are very welcoming. I enjoyed my vanilla latte and will try the pastries next time I stop by. Thanks

This place is all around "WOW" !!! The location itself leaves more to be desired, but don't judge this book by its surroundings. My husband and I both ordered a drink off the winter warmers menu. I got the ginger bread latte and my husband got "The Partridge". Both drinks were delicious. Service was helpful and friendly. Our barista answered all of our questions and made suggestions when asked. When our drinks came out they were served in a unique ceramic coffee mug with "beware coffee" printed on each. I loved that each mug was different and made you feel at home. Our coffees were filled the the brim and walking them back to our table without destroying the coffee art was no easy undertaking so my only suggestion would be to have the staff carry those beautiful drinks to the tables.

One of the things that immediately drew me to this place was the lighting. My husband and I walked in and it had the cutest Christmas decorations and custom "Beware" decorations. Katie, at the register, was so helpful in recommending pastries and lattes. When she and the other employees found out we were from out of town, they went above and beyond to recommend restaurants, bars, and other breakfast spots. We had the best time and highly recommend this for coffee, service, and especially quality!

Great tasting coffee. Not a lot of seating area so try to go in a little early because this place gets busy. Overall friendly staff and beautiful latte art. We will try to go back next time for the in room dining experience. Parking is street and some areas on the side of building. This is a corner coffee shop located on McKinley Rd.

Very friendly baristas and creative specials. Space is small so it can get loud but the drinks were very good.

I had been seeing some NA cocktails on my social media feed and saw that Soulberry Coffee House stocks them. Figured it is better to try them one by one rather than committing to a subscription order online. They have great coffee and pastries, from what I tried. I got a muffin, donut, and turnover and the latte of the month. Looks like their specialty is coffee and mocktails. I believe they roast their own coffee. They have a pretty good size mocktail menu. They sell packaged NA RTDs, as well as alcohol free/removed wines and spirits, bitters, syrups, elderberry syrup, fired cider, honey, teas and more. The folks at the counter were friendly and welcoming. They also had some alcohol free/removed wines out for complimentary tasting. The one I tried was surprisingly delicious. It appears they have some sort of loyalty program at checkout, but I am unsure of the details. I forgot to ask about military discount. I would definitely come back.

My boyfriend and I have stopped by here for coffee and breakfast sandwiches twice before this recent visit and let me tell you that they always taste amazing! We came here again as BECU is currently hosting an event where they let you enjoy a free drink on them and Campfire Coffee was one of the businesses that is participating! It's been a while since we stopped by so we decided to stop by again. I saw on Yelp that dogs were allowed but they are not, however they do offer a generous pup cup! I was greeted by an female employee and she was very professional, kind and patient as I was trying to decide what to get. She also showed that same positive attitude and mannerism with the customers ahead of me as well. The interior is so cozy and they even have a campfire set up which is great for photo ops or just to hang out at. Additionally, they have a corner with shelves of different things to enjoy while you're there too! I went ahead and got one of their seasonal specials: Grandma's Cabin Energy with light ice and my boyfriend got their Peppermint Mocha. I appreciate that she asked me to make sure I liked it before I left but she nailed it, all the flavors came through and it was the right amount of ice! The drink was so good that I forgot to take a picture! Love that they don't upcharge on flavors especially when a lot of other coffee shops do. We also had a conversation about how they have different seasonal menus and look forward making more creative drinks in the future. So glad to see that they are still making fantastic drinks, have stellar service, and offer unique drinks and food/treats.

The food is delicious, and they are very generous with it. Seriously, there isn't anything here that is not scrumptious and I left absolutely stuffed! In addition, the tea selection they have is on point! Including a smokey tea I'd never heard of that was absolutely fabulous. Don't judge this place by the outside - the decor inside is adorable, with lots of unique and fun antique pieces. The staff is extremely attentive, kind, and even fun! We didn't expect it but there was a live pianist, and he was extremely talented (and funny). My BFF and I are a bit of tea snobs; we've been to tea rooms in both England, Kirland, and Seattle; this one by far has been our favorite. I really can't say enough great things about this place. I hope we can return soon, because it might be one of my new favorite (and unique) places in Tacoma! This really made my bridal party so thank you to the entire staff - we had a great experience!
