Chai and latte

Beautiful interior & exterior! Vibes are impeccable. I got a chai and it was so spiced which I really enjoyed. I had no complaints about the experience.

Great vibes, amazing coffee, and tasty treats! I need to come back and try every pastry available cause wow! Great seating but it can get crowded quick due to popularity. Service was quick and staff was super friendly! Thanks Beware!

My favorite cappuccino in Tacoma, and always the most excellent service. Cannot recommend beware enough!

we're visiting & it's just such a cute coffee shop! i'm in love with the decor and just how cute their work area behind the counter is! the coffee itself was tasty and rich, and they had their own list of special lattes as well. the baristas were all so kind & patient while our group decided what to get. they answered all our questions, and was happy with all our selections!

I've been in twice in the last two weeks -- I really love it here. It's got the sweetest vibe with butter yellow walls, macrame tapestries, and handmade ceramic coffee cups. They also make their own syrups which has gotten kinda rare in Tacoma and which I love, especially since they're creative with their flavors. I particularly love the smoky syrup which is featured in the Lapsang Suchong Latte. The barista had described it as "almost savory." I wouldn't go that far but it certainly was different and I LOVED it. The only downside is that there isn't always room to sit on a weekend morning, but it's a small price to pay.

Customer service was top tier during my visit today! Staff was very patient and amazing to talk to. Today I tried The Patridge iced latte - their syrups are made in house, this one has cardamom and pear, unique. Honestly, I love trying different things, but this was a little too sweet for my liking and the flavor profile was too much to enjoy my apple turnover-croissant pastry. The latte is very creamy and the quality of the flavors/coffee is good, but next time I'll stick to a regular latte. Overall, I am still on the quest for the best Tacoma coffee spot during my visit here (See my profile for other cofffee shops I've tried in the Tacoma area). EDIT: I was informed this is a "no risk" coffee shop, and made me a new drink I tried a rose and white chocolate latte - which was way too kind! Braxton, Tima and Jeff were amazing! Thank you for such superb customer service.

Every cup of coffee that has been sipped from Beware has been a delight. I like to view myself as some sort of coffee connoisseur and I can 100% say that this place takes pride in what they do. The wait is a little long and I feel that is because they take their time with each cup they make. Seating is scarce so if you plan to enjoy your cup inside, do come in when they open because it fills up really quick. My only recommendation if they look into the reviews is to remove the center table and put 2 more 2 seater tables if it still allows within capacity. Never change. Your coffee is great.

The Partridge latte

Partridge coffee with pear juice and other flavors- seasonal, yum. I learned the syrups and other flavors are homemade. Friendly, wonderful coffee, amazing little pastry treats, decent breakfast sandwiches.

Beautiful breakfast sandwich on croissant elevated by chives on top. Great latte. Wonderful ambiance.

Here's what I loved about this coffee shop: the coffee is really good. So are the croissants and hot chocolate. The staff is friendly amd welcoming. The ambience is really chill and has unique characteristics. I can totally come back here again. Highly recommend it!

pastries they have- love how they organized them savory vs sweet.

Cute coffee shop and somewhere to lounge or chat. It's got a bright and homey atmosphere -- kind of reminds me of "grandmas kitchen" with some of her grandkids hip touches. They have seasonal drinks as well! They make their own unique syrups and little assortment of baked goods. They use local beans from a roaster in Seattle and up for purchase as well. The workers are always so nice!

This place is all around "WOW" !!! The location itself leaves more to be desired, but don't judge this book by its surroundings. My husband and I both ordered a drink off the winter warmers menu. I got the ginger bread latte and my husband got "The Partridge". Both drinks were delicious. Service was helpful and friendly. Our barista answered all of our questions and made suggestions when asked. When our drinks came out they were served in a unique ceramic coffee mug with "beware coffee" printed on each. I loved that each mug was different and made you feel at home. Our coffees were filled the the brim and walking them back to our table without destroying the coffee art was no easy undertaking so my only suggestion would be to have the staff carry those beautiful drinks to the tables.

My constant is the Cardigan Latte, and then I rotate through whatever seasonal drinks inevitably convince me to stray from my usual. The space is warm and inviting, the people are wonderful, and it works just as well for grabbing something quickly as it does for settling in and staying awhile. I've been here more times than I could possibly count, and the fact that I continue choosing it when Tacoma has no shortage of great coffee shops probably says everything. Get the Cardigan Latte. And if the seasonal menu distracts you on the way there, I understand completely.

I was lucky to grab a seat just as someone else was leaving, and while it is definitely a tight fit when packed, the space is laid out well with both indoor and outdoor seating options. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by their merch display, the menu, and fresh baked goods. They offer all the standard drinks alongside a fantastic selection of seasonal items. I ordered the Island Breeze from the summer menu, which was amazing, so much so that I even ordered another one to share with my friend! I somehow also managed to snag the very last chicken chipotle sandwich, and it did not disappoint at all, especially with the great portion size. The service was wonderful, and I really enjoyed my friendly interactions with the staff. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely be back to try out their fall menu!

Hanging out around Tacoma and it's always a must to try a coffee shop in the PNW. PASSES THE VIBE CHECK. It's a very hip and spacious cafe with a large lobby/lounge area and a ton of people. Diversity! Loved seeing diversity in the mix. Comfy seats, tables, and some available power plugs too. Its location is on a downtown slope and in a corner so it has a view. ORDER - STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN ($17) - came with 4 mini espresso drinks: Latte, Caramel Macchiato, Doppio Con Panna, and Cold Brew. Latte - smooth without any flavor. Caramel Macchiato - so good and smooth. Sweet. Caramel tastes more like marshmallows. Dipping Con Panna - strong acidity after bite and a coffee taste throughout the sip. Cold brew - this is where I can truly taste the profiles of the beans. Very smooth with flavor profile of currents and cherry. Until the next review...

They have a monthly rotating menu of four limited drinks for their drink flights. For the month of February the four drinks were: - Lots of Love Lotus -- pink lotus with rose and lavender syrup, topped with lavender cold foam. - Eternal Flame Latte -- espresso with sweet heat syrup and brown sugar cinnamon, finished with a honey and red sugar rim. - Sweetheart Sip Matcha -- iced matcha with cherry and almond syrup, topped with a maraschino cherry. - Perfect Pair Latte -- espresso with dark chocolate, white chocolate, and strawberry, topped with whipped cream and strawberry drizzle. The drinks were all great. In addition to the drink flight, we ordered a chocolate vegan muffin and a Danish to snack on. The space is wonderful. It is a fairly large space that could be used to study, work, or even socialize in. The service is also excellent. The staff are friendly and delivered our drink flight right to us!

I had been seeing some NA cocktails on my social media feed and saw that Soulberry Coffee House stocks them. Figured it is better to try them one by one rather than committing to a subscription order online. They have great coffee and pastries, from what I tried. I got a muffin, donut, and turnover and the latte of the month. Looks like their specialty is coffee and mocktails. I believe they roast their own coffee. They have a pretty good size mocktail menu. They sell packaged NA RTDs, as well as alcohol free/removed wines and spirits, bitters, syrups, elderberry syrup, fired cider, honey, teas and more. The folks at the counter were friendly and welcoming. They also had some alcohol free/removed wines out for complimentary tasting. The one I tried was surprisingly delicious. It appears they have some sort of loyalty program at checkout, but I am unsure of the details. I forgot to ask about military discount. I would definitely come back.

Don't judge this place by the outside - the decor inside is adorable, with lots of unique and fun antique pieces. The staff is extremely attentive, kind, and even fun! We didn't expect it but there was a live pianist, and he was extremely talented (and funny).
