Stumbled upon this neighborhood coffee shop while on a drive to Olympic Mountains and it was good. Lots of place to study/remote work, parking is simple too. We bought 2 Caramel Lattes and grabbed the Granola bar. Both were good.

The vibe here is as good as the coffee! We came in to get something hot to drink and ended up staying for an hour enjoying great conversations and awesome baked goods! The coffee is fantastic, and there is something for everyone! You could get lost in just checking out all the cool decorations woven in here! Great service, great coffee, great vibe!

Immediately upon entering, I was greeted by the goodest of girls. She later took a seat on her couch and watched me sip on my latte. The dirty chai latte was flavorful and caffeine packed, just how I like it. They had locally made pastries, I had the berry muffin, and took a homemade "twinky" to go. I'm looking forward to tasting it. Great vibe, great dog, and great coffee.

I am convinced Washington state is the Cafe capital of the world. Sorry Paris, step aside. This one is for the USA! We were on our way to the mountains when we made a stop at Lux Coffee for a quick pick me up. The decor/design was so inviting, we just had to go in. The menu is typical for a quick coffee fix, but the pastries are the star of this show. We got the raspberry cheesecake and devoured it within minutes. It's not everyday that you can find desserts in the USA that don't give you diabetes from all the extra added sugar. The coffees were alright. We had the cappuccino and macchiato. Service was great! The barista was friendly, quick and efficient. By the time we got in, a queue started to form, but the barista was quick to get the drinks out. Highly recommend! Till next time.

Lux did not disappoint with its amazing coffee. The vibe inside is very chill and relax. The gal over the counter was super sweet and informative. I asked if they had sugar free syrups, and they have many options such as vanilla, caramel, white chocolate, hazelnut, and a couple more options. Yummy looking pastries are present for purchase too. I just ordered a 16oz sugar free vanilla latte. It was delicious! That great jolt of caffeine hit right in the beginning with the sweat foamy milk over taking your taste buds at the end. There are a few tables and chairs inside with neighborhood posts and events pinned on the wall. It's really cool how people can come together for the community. This is street parking only, but it's very spacious. I'm sure you'll be able to find a parking spot no problem. Great coffee here!

Great, new coffee shop that is open in a neighborhood that could really use one! This kind of coffee shop as Steve mentioned when we were here of the "old Seattle " that we first became familiar with. The place has some art made by local artists and there is just a hint of a funky vibe here that just makes it fun. The coffee is good... how can it not be? The beans are roasted by Manifesto Coffee which is a "go to" place for us every weekend. I have been on a big iced vanilla latte kick as I often am in the summer and loved the one I ordered here. I'm super excited to come back and love having the realization of a coffee shop we can really enjoy is not too far from where we live at all!

Lux is a welcome addition to this area of Tacoma, which is seriously lacking in good espresso. They have all the typical coffee drinks--I'm a plain latte with full-fat milk kind of guy. The lattes here are on point. There is now food here from Happy Belly (a local tacoma joint) and they feature coffee from Manifesto, and elite espresso slinger also from Tacoma. My favorite thing is when restaurants source locally for the food or drinks. Lux is killin it.

I know they do not have regular open hours for just walk in purchase, but rather, they're custom order type business, but I have yet to place any custom orders so I cannot speak to that experience. What made me write this review is how accurate the owner (Brianne) described cake and desserts in the description and the baked goods taste matched 200% of the description. The pistachio cake was out of the world, so was the whoopie pie!!! I got to meet Brianne in person and she was very friendly, and was kind to explain everything about each of her baked goods she had out that day. I've tried their baked goods from pop tarts to cookies to housemade Twinkie and the creation and taste are unmatched. Single serve baked goods were more on pricier side, but well worth every bite. I would definitely order custom baked goods from here, knowing the quality and taste of products from this shop!!! Currently, you can find Spilled Butter baked goods at Cosmonaut coffee, Outer Dark Coffee, and at Tacoma Farmers Market (also known as Tacoma Broadway Farmers Market) from time to time. Enjoy!!!

The service was pretty quick. Ambiance was appealing with many baked items and a very nice aroma that got my Ghrelin levels going! They have many different savory and sweet options. I ordered one of their breakfast sandwiches which came with sausage, muffin, and eggs. OH MY GOD. This was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have tried in a while. Absolutely amazing. I am lucky that I don't live right by this place, otherwise I would spend all of my money here. I also got a sausage quiche which was not bad, but I wish I had tried some of their croissants. The croissants were placed around the corner of where I ordered, so I had not seen them. Had I seen the croissants, I would have ordered them and devoured them. I am definitely coming back to this place and HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

In fact, every thing I've tried here has been excellent. I also tried the big salted chocolate chip cookie which ha a generous amount of chocolate chips in it. It was, as I expected, excellent. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more goodies soon. There is a comfortable nice place place to enjoy those trats too with seating outside for those nice days. It kind of reminds me of some of those nice little eateries I like to visit in my travels through Europe. I just plain enjoy this place.

So as my go to guide I yelped it! And up popped Kusher Bakery. You know I had to go and today we went there. It's an Eastern European bakery, and grocery store with products from multiple Eastern Europe countries. The selections are very good and then there is the bread baked daily except on Sunday. A bonus is the fact all the fresh baked bread can be sliced for you or you can take it home and slice it yourself. Having this service is great. Dark rye, 12-grain, and others that are....... well too many and all looked delicious. There is fresh baked Lavash, soft and delicious and many of the breads were still warm and fresh. The fresh piroshki! Awesome to say the least, Chicken, Cheese, Cabbage, and Apricot were available and hot. Look you can go to the other market on 70th and get very good stuff and pay quite a lot more, or go to Kusher and get a better selection and pay reasonable prices. Yes it is smaller but bigger is not always better and having this small place is a positive. For me Kusher wins hands down. So go, look around and get some awesome stuff.
