Looking forward to returning! I put in an ordered for a velvet cake (wifeys fav). I dont really like cake but this cake was delicious. She likes simple cakes no filling or extra stuff and sometimes simplicity is better. The place has many other goodies and a line of hungry and excited people. The decor was very cute, indoor and outdoor seats too. The artsy ladies behind the counter are hard workers. Keep up the great work

I stopped by Corina today for a quick bite to eat before seeing a movie at the Grand Theater next door. The Chicken Pesto Sandwich was very good. In fact, every thing I've tried here has been excellent. I also tried the big salted chocolate chip cookie which ha a generous amount of chocolate chips in it. It was, as I expected, excellent. We also enjoyed some wonderful quiche and my friend had some coffee which she said was the best she's ever had. The staff is friendly and helpful with suggestions too. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more goodies soon. There is a comfortable nice place place to enjoy those trats too with seating outside for those nice days. It kind of reminds me of some of those nice little eateries I like to visit in my travels through Europe. I just plain enjoy this place.

On top of the obvious - incredible bakery- I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of teas offered along with gf/df options. A friend I like to go with has a corn sensitivity and everyone behind the counter has always seemed very knowledgeable as to which items will be safe for my friend. Very appreciated and allows my friend to branch out a bit with her selections. The store is a bit drafty in the winter months, so bring a jacket.

Looking for the best bakery in Tacoma? Then check out Corina Bakery located on the corner of 6th Ave & Fawcett. It's the place to go for your sweet tooth. Some of my favs: orange chocolate muffin, slice of chocolate ganache peanut butter cake, lemon bar, and German chocolate cupcakes. So good!

I heard a lot about this bakery from a friend, but I don't see what she sees. I ordered the sausage quiche and a gluten-free chocolate cake with strawberry frosting. The quiche didn't have a whole lot of flavor probably because there wasn't a lot of sausage in it. As for the chocolate cake, it wasn't half bad considering it was gluten-free. It probably was the first gluten-free item I've had that actually tasted good.

We stayed at the Silver Cloud Hotel in Ruston & they had cookies from this bakery in their little convenient store. Tasted so good we had to go to the source the this morning!! Great location although parking is tricky. The aroma of sweet baking things as you walk up is enticing! The case was full of so many goodies!! Staff is super friendly!! There are so many great choices!! Settled on 2 more of those delicious soft chocolate chip cookies which you can grab off the table of prepackaged items or get it warm from the case!! Also got a lemon poppyseed muffin for my daughter, I got an orange chocolate muffin, my husband got an oatmeal raisin cookie and a German chocolate cupcake for the MIL. 100% worth a stop!!

    Ridiculously loaded cookies!

Had a chocolate croissant, and later some German Chocolate Cake. Both terrific. The croissant was big, poofy chewy inside & crackly perfect outside. The cake was as I remembered from years back. Cute place too, everyone very friendly. Only drawback is snapping up some parking. But: I have to go back now, because: COOKIES AND SERIOUS MUFFINS.

First stop after arriving at SEA this morning! The bakery is bright and clean and smells of all the delicious tasty treats. I wanted to order one of everything! They have sweet and savory muffins, burritos, croissants, and more. The blueberry muffin starts with an amazing hit of cinnamon and nutmeg. The orange and chocolate muffin is a little more moist, and absolutely delicious. We also had hot Matcha with oat milk, and an iced mocha latte. All of the staff were moving quickly to take care of all the customers, and still smiling and friendly. A few people were clearly regulars, and it's always nice to be recognized when you come into a place like this frequently. Can't wait to come back!

I had the vegan pot pie and it was so delicious. Full of flavor and warmed to perfection!

Allergy free heaven! I so appreciate the fact that allergens are so clearly marked. Not only that, everything I've ordered from here is delicious. They filled my son's smash cake order- allergy free and the price can't be beat. The ladies were so quick to answer any questions I had, too. Indoor and outdoor seating is offered.

Cannolis are mentioned in some reviews. Are these consistently available?

Does this businesd have sugar-free or low glycemic index (diabetic friendly) options?

Are there vegan options or gluten free options?

They have Gluten Vegan Soy free pastries! Just depends on what they have up front.

Hi, I'm just wondering if there are specific breakfast hours (quiche, breakfast sandwich)? Thanks!

I don't believe there are specific hours. They sell all their baked goods throughout the day, just depends on availability of the items. Hope that helps!

Every detail is thoughtfully done, from the clean, elegant design to the perfectly balanced flavors (not overly sweet, just right). You can tell they care about quality and service -- the texture, the freshness, the flavor combinations... everything hits. It's rare to find a bakery that nails both aesthetics and taste this well. If you're looking for a cake that feels special, elevated, and actually delivers on flavor, this is the place. Family owned and operated! However, I was disappointed with the service. I chose not to buy a plastic bag, but I expected the cashier to place my individually wrapped pastries into one paper bag, as they have done during my previous visits. Instead, I had to carry each one separately to my car. I don't know if it was because I didn't leave a tip, but it made me feel that way. It left me with a disappointing impression of the customer service.

I know they do not have regular open hours for just walk in purchase, but rather, they're custom order type business, but I have yet to place any custom orders so I cannot speak to that experience. What made me write this review is how accurate the owner (Brianne) described cake and desserts in the description and the baked goods taste matched 200% of the description. The pistachio cake was out of the world, so was the whoopie pie!!! I got to meet Brianne in person and she was very friendly, and was kind to explain everything about each of her baked goods she had out that day. I've tried their baked goods from pop tarts to cookies to housemade Twinkie and the creation and taste are unmatched. Single serve baked goods were more on pricier side, but well worth every bite. I would definitely order custom baked goods from here, knowing the quality and taste of products from this shop!!! Currently, you can find Spilled Butter baked goods at Cosmonaut coffee, Outer Dark Coffee, and at Tacoma Farmers Market (also known as Tacoma Broadway Farmers Market) from time to time. Enjoy!!!

So as my go to guide I yelped it! And up popped Kusher Bakery. You know I had to go and today we went there. It's an Eastern European bakery, and grocery store with products from multiple Eastern Europe countries. The selections are very good and then there is the bread baked daily except on Sunday. A bonus is the fact all the fresh baked bread can be sliced for you or you can take it home and slice it yourself. Having this service is great. Dark rye, 12-grain, and others that are....... well too many and all looked delicious. There is fresh baked Lavash, soft and delicious and many of the breads were still warm and fresh. The fresh piroshki! Awesome to say the least, Chicken, Cheese, Cabbage, and Apricot were available and hot. Look you can go to the other market on 70th and get very good stuff and pay quite a lot more, or go to Kusher and get a better selection and pay reasonable prices. Yes it is smaller but bigger is not always better and having this small place is a positive. For me Kusher wins hands down. So go, look around and get some awesome stuff.
