We were looking for a bakery to get good whole grain bread. You know the homemade bread with 12 grains and good rye, that is better than the institutionalized bread. So as my go to guide I yelped it! And up popped Kusher Bakery. You know I had to go and today we went there. It's an Eastern European bakery, and grocery store with products from multiple Eastern Europe countries. The selections are very good and then there is the bread baked daily except on Sunday. A bonus is the fact all the fresh baked bread can be sliced for you or you can take it home and slice it yourself. Having this service is great. Dark rye, 12-grain, and others that are....... well too many and all looked delicious. There is fresh baked Lavash, soft and delicious and many of the breads were still warm and fresh. The fresh piroshki! Awesome to say the least, Chicken, Cheese, Cabbage, and Apricot were available and hot. Look you can go to the other market on 70th and get very good stuff and pay quite a lot more, or go to Kusher and get a better selection and pay reasonable prices. Yes it is smaller but bigger is not always better and having this small place is a positive. For me Kusher wins hands down. So go, look around and get some awesome stuff. read more

It's quite hard to find this store, but I'll say only one cake, the price is just very cheap. I recommend. Service is fast not much people.

Came here last week to get some lunch stuff to take to a friend's house. Bought fresh baked poppyseed strudel, a loaf of rye bread and piroshky from the deli, all were fantastic. The rye bread had an excellent flavor, was made using natural leavening and stayed fresh for nearly a week. Also picked up different frozen dumplings from their extensive selection. They carry bulk pelmeni and pierogi, with vegetarian and vegan options. I am still learning the difference between the terms for these delicious dumplings. Kusher has a small produce section, lots of yummy looking pickles and candies. Will definitely come back for the baked goods and the dumplings, they are delicious. read more

This Russian bakery is amazing! You walk into the store and smell the fresh goodies they create daily. They have piroshki, fresh breads, pastries and cookies. They have tons of different salami and meats. We also stocked up on some frozen chicken dumplings, can't wait to try. Stop in and support this small local business. read more

Piroskys are good always fresh when I get them and very inexpensive they are greasy one is hard to finish sometimes.

Saw an employee from the bakery first tidy up the area near the pirozhki section, and then started sorting baked poppyseed ones on the tray without washing hands or putting plastic gloves on. Hard to understand why customers are provided with gloves and food tongues when we pick a few, but employees can touch baked goods with their hands. read more

What a wonderful hidden gem to find! My son recently started tutoring nearby and while searching for the closest Euro Store to pick the SO some pelmeni and other goodies, I ran into Kusher. They don't have quite the deli variety as other Russian/Euro markets in the area but have everything thing else you could need! Def need to visit earlier in the day to explore all of their fresh baked goodies and piroshki! 1000% recommend. read more

My first time here & will definitely be back. The bakery is so so yummy! The treats are not sugary sweet & adds to your cafe espresso! I was sent on a mission for cookies & added Cherry Strudel based on the ingredients! I don't read or write Russian or Ukrainian, staff is helpful. Cannot wait to go back n try something new. The bread from this bakery is divine, if you like darker rye breads, like me. They have German and Ukrainian style breads. They also make cakes and pastries (Sweet and savory) as well as pizza. They also have a well-stocked pantry from drinks, pickles, teas, sweets, as well as meats, cheeses and smoked fish. Most stuff is from Russia and all over Europe. Was well-worth the drive from Seattle for me and prices are very reasonable :) read more

While on a road trip, I saw that there was a Russian bakery nearby. This place is hidden within rows of a business center, so it's not the easiest to spot (unless you're intentionally looking for it via gps). I was expecting a bakery but it's actually a small Russian grocer with a bakery window in the back. The delicious smell of bread fills the store and if the window's open, you can see the production line in progress. Prices are reasonable, especially for the Pirozhki which are delicious!! It was lunch time and I figured it would be best to eat it hot, so I sat in the parking lot eating my Pirozhki ...then ran back in to buy more to bring home. Check this place out if you love Russian baked goods. read more

My favorite Russian store so far.The bakery is amazing,their bread is so good. Always go to get there sweets, my favorite so far is cookies in form of the nuts filled with condensed milk. Also love smoke fish which they smoke right there in the store. They always have big variety of fruits and vegetables. The prices are very cheap. Staff is very friendly. read more

I really enjoy going to this store and travel about 90 minutes to shop here. The people working here have always been extremely helpful and friendly, the selection is great. The bakery is amazing and the perogies are outstanding, we always get a bag full of all the different varieties- chicken, potato, cabbage, fruit & cheese and more. I know one review complained about expired items, as someone who volunteers at a food bank you learn that dates are arbitrary and government guidelines not the 'truth' even dairy items are supposed to be fine 10 days out. This store is a gem, I've only been here a handful of times but I plan to keep on going! read more

I mean how can u not give this place 5 stars they deserve 10!! I love the fresh baked piroshky smell is amazing. Also the oil that they have here in half a gallon the smell brings me back to Ukraine it's sunflower oil. A good selection of Ukrainian/Russian treats. They also sell smoked salmon that's very delicious. Small produce but all the staples that Europeans need: potatoes, carrots, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumber, and plenty of herbs. They have a nice selection of spices too. The bread they bake is like no other. Come in won't be disappointed. And try some different sausages or cheeses. P.S.
