One of my favorite things about Balloon Roof is their no-tipping model. Tipping isn't even an option because their pricing is structured to support fair wages for their team. I really appreciate a business being that intentional about how they operate, especially when the quality of the product and experience backs it up. It's become one of those places I consistently find an excuse to stop by when I'm nearby, even if all I "need" is a little focaccia and juice moment. This market had the largest collection of any of the desserts I have seen and I have even been to bakeries that specialize in them. It was a dream looking through those display cases and my mouth was watering. (See video) Beyond the desserts though, I really enjoyed browsing this market. From what I understand, this is a Ukrainian-owned grocery store, bakery and Cafe and many of the products they sell here are imported from Ukraine. There were lots of things that you don't typically see at a regular grocery store, and I was especially excited for the sweets and snacks. I got some french macarons and lemon squares in addition to the other bakery items and I even found some soda flavored popcorn. It was... Interesting. It's always fun to try something new! They also had a gorgeous flower selection and a nice seating area inside. If that wasn't enough, they even have private outdoor dining domes where visitors can sit and eat. (I snapped a photo of them on the side of the building as we were leaving.) So, when you do stop here to try out some of the delicious baked goods, you'll have a nice place to sit and enjoy the experience. This is definitely a spot worth checking out and supporting and if I lived closer I would visit often.

I reached out to Bon Appetina's and was replied to swiftly and to my surprise, they agreed to place a rush order for me for a small additional charge. I was so grateful I didn't have to scramble to find somewhere else! Pickup and payment was super easy. It was a little hard to find the spot since it's in a warehouse complex sort of setup, but once I found it we were golden. They have the door locked until you ring for pickup but they answered quickly and my box was labeled and ready to go. I was so happy with how they turned out! Everything was exactly as communicated and they looked so cute - and delicious! The person receiving them was so excited about them which was my entire goal, so that alone was a 5 star experience.
