Good basic gas station. Cheapest gas around. Very conveniently located. Staff is friendly. Good place to go.

The store is good. So running in for food? Great place. Not as bad to get in and out as it looks. If you just need gas, go to the place on the other side of the free way. The customers are the worst. They will park at the pump and go in the store for 20 minutes like there isn't a line to the street waiting for their spot read more

Mgmt. if you are aware that the credit card machine readers are not working, post something so people are aware they are down. I tried multiple cards and all read error. I went in side and got cash and paid for my gas. I told employee something is wrong with the credit card readers. He said they are all down due to recent updates. I don't carry cash so getting a $3 charge and touching more things I didn't want to touch has started my day off well. read more

Like the other local TE locations, I usually like stopping by for inexpensive good gas in the region and sometimes above-average snacks from the store. Super convenient & visible just off the freeway near downtown/Tacoma Dome. I even asked one of the afternoon staff if they had an ingredients list for the deli jojo's and they were kind enough to go in the back and bring me a label of the jojo's ingredients. Tahoma Express - a view of a grocery store - Convenience Stores Near Me - Tacoma, Washington

This place is crooks, we went to fill up our 12 gallon Kia Soul. The pump said that it put 14 gallons in our tank. Even after we released the pump trigger it kept climbing with no gas coming out. So $53 dollars was charged to our bank and we got 0 gas. The staff would not do anything to help us. No apology no service or mangers name or number. Just tried to blame my bank card. Will not be going back ever! read more

This Shell station is right next to the Emerald Queen Casino and one of the cheapest gas stations I've seen in a while. The location is ideal as it is right off of I-5 and so you can pop on and off without having to deal with traffic lights or circling around. The 'one' downside to this location is that it seemed there were some shady folks hanging out front and loitering you for spare change. I know that it's a fact of living in the city but not in Tacoma! My poor husband was out pumping gas and I felt unsafe without him in the car and locked up. They have pretty good prices here, it's always busy though I do like how they changed the way to get gas, you can only enter the gas lane one direction, which for a station like this and how busy it is, that is a good thing. Generally they have the cheapest gas prices in the area, and their refill prices on soda is real good as well, so I generally will get my Pepsi bottle thing refilled here or at their sister station on Pioneer Ave. read more

This establishment had been and still is one of my favorite convenience stores for a few reasons which I will list ; HOWEVER as of tonight the management has left a taste in my mouth that is sour because the operations and the customer consideration has lost a LARGE AMOUNT OF MY RESPECT and should be the same for any business saavy individual (I know it's native owned which is great but they need to hire some common sense intelligence and people with an understanding of how to gain repeat business) , that being said and before I say what offense has tilted this once perceived GREAR establishment into a "good" only place I'll share after I list some of my favorite things at this place and here they are: --PUBLIC RESTROOMS(a huge bonus in the judging of any establishments reputation as it pertains to customer services) which leads me to...... --GOOD customer service , only a good rating because the staff of the different locations are all a little different , however I have never had an apphauling experience with any in particular --Nice variety of food and drink , including the offers of lunch and breakfast type foods --ALKI BAKERY designed sandwiches (alki bakery, if you are from the Seattle area one would know why this is nice) So as stated above, this is a good place for everyday needs including gas and last second amenities including food. However tonight Sept 21 at 2:35 am, I was left perplexed because this is supposed to be a 24 hour establishment . I went to nab something in the middle of my wife and i's night playing at the casino and as I walked up I was informed that they were CLOSING, that's right CLOSING FOR A HALF HOUR to clean machines and do some other tasks that are needing to be done. I know this could be just a critical rant if the person working had to do everything alone, EXCEPT THEY HAVE A STAFF IF 3, sometimes 4 and that's the middle of the night. So you are telling me that while one person helps customers that the other employee(s) can't get the cleaning done. So, this place wants to lose money, piss off customers , and not follow what they advertise ; they should change their sign then, it should read OPEN 23 AND 1/2 HOURS.....IF THE OWNERS IF THE TAHOMA MARKET IS READING THIS then I would hope you take into consideration a few things about business , customers and life and that thing to consider is called : COMMON SENSE! Sorry if this post is brash but in this day and age with the piss poor customer service that many outlets of consumer sales are concerned it is just a true let down to see this country and it's face to face establishments fall victim to the mighty dollar will he he customer themselves being put on the back shelf only to serve the blinded cattle that walk through their doors in auto pilot and not thinking for themselves what is right . This place is amazing. The inside was not what I was expecting. The inside was beautiful!!!!! Very modern and extremely clean! They have many choices of everything. The staff is very friendly as well. The outside is clean and kept up very well. The only negative I could say if I had to, is one of the planters outside needed watering. read more
