This entire location was once a pleasure to shop in. It now even worse then the run of the mill bs Safeway store on Shaw Rd. , but still charging higher prices for the privilege of shopping there because it is located in Lake Tapps. Done.

I would like to share some concerns about my experiences in the optical department. On several…read moreoccasions, my interactions with Rochelle have felt unhelpful and, many times, passive-aggressive. I've left multiple conversations feeling frustrated, discouraged, and without the information I needed to make informed decisions. In my most recent visit, I explained to Rochelle that my husband had purchased my glasses as a Christmas gift and that I wasn't completely sure if they were bought at Costco, but it was very likely. Earlier that day, I had called and spoken with someone in the optical department who advised me that there were options available either they could look up proof of purchase through my membership or I could pay a fee to have my prescription added to my current eyewear. When I came in later that evening, Rochelle was the only person available. After I explained the situation, her response was extremely rude and implied I was lying. When I asked what my options were, I was told that I did not have any. I shared that I had already spoken with someone earlier and did not appreciate feeling like information was being withheld. I then asked to speak with a manager. A young man that was manager came over shortly after, he said he was unsure how to handle the situation. At that point, I felt uncomfortable and defeated, and decided to leave. Because this has happened more than once with Rochelle, I've started to feel uncomfortable seeking services there, as I worry about having another negative interactions. I value clear, respectful communication and would really appreciate a more supportive and consistent experience moving forward. The store overall is a good experience definitely room for improvement in customer service all around with workers and improvement on better quality items.

Absolutely no customer service like they are doing you a favor being there. In the last month I have 2 different occasions where they are just plain RUDE. 1ST One, I was buying the largest pk. Of bacon like 3 pds. They sell it in the meat case and at the meat deli as well, I was trying to find one with less fat so I went to the Deli. As I was talking to the meat person out of no where a person stocking sandwiches told me I have to buy it out of the case that's policy, even one of the deli workers looked at me and her with a wth you talking about. I told her I was buying at the meat counter and she wasn't making me buy the other, response what do you expect it's Bacon there's Fat. I did speak with a mgr. If he bothered saying anything to her IDK. #2 TODAY.. As always it's Friday and very busy, I went in to buy a couple beers and some food items, 8 in all. 5 lanes open, 4 are minors that have signs up can not purchase liquor thru the register, 1 closing and 1 open besides quick chk with a long line. I try to go thru the one closing explain why, Sorry Iam closed. I run up to service desk, sorry I can only ring 5 items, remember I have 8, I explain why I came to her looks at me and repeatedly says only 5. She says there are 5 lanes open, again for the 5th time I say they are minors. No budge, no customer give a crap and no one else is in line, just me.So I go to quick check wait in line again to pay for 3 items. I have made a decision, Winco has some good prices but my time and the way Iam treated is worth more than they can give in prices. When people used to tell me they refuse to shop Winco I didn't understand but OH I do now. You won't catch me there again. Fred Meyer Is up the street And prices are looking pretty good. You can keep all of your EBT customers cause that's who shop there with their over flowing carts and that's ok Iam just not putting myself in the category of having to be treated like crap.
