The restroom was a nightmare. It was filthy, dirty, had graffiti and looked old. I was in shock and disbelief!! I've never seen this at any other Safeway stores. How can a store take pride in this? Do they not think that customers would not use the restroom and see this? I hope they improve the restroom situation.

At the seafood area, there's a middle age (Mexican?) man with a white beanie, about 5'9" and medium build body. He was very rude and yelled loudly at a customer, the one and only customer there at the time. It was unbelievable! Of course the customer left without wasting another minute there. I left soon after too. I am thankful that there are so many CLEAN and nice Asian markets in Seattle with good customer service and FRESH products. This Hong Kong Market in Kent definitely on the very bottom of all.

My review concerns a single incident…read more I'm currently on crutches and have to use an electric cart. This store's carts are outdated - they don't show the battery strengh on the console, My cart stalled while 1/2 way done shopping. I waited 45 minutes for a 2nd cart. The second cart stalled with 4 items left to purchase. A manager told me to wait while he looked for a 3rd cart. He never returned, Instead, he stood 40 feet away chatting with two of his colleagues. After another 57 minutes, another 4th manager, "Kenny" walked up and asked me if aI needed help. He was horrified by my story as I pointed out the other managers still "...standing over there..." Long story short: Kenny got his mother (apparently a senior administrator in the store) to check me through a register while he went to get the 4 items I still needed. After checking out, he loaded my purchases into my car while I walked along side on crutches. The point of all this is, there are all kinds of people in the world. Some care, some don't. My quick trip to the store was 3 hours long. An hour'n'1/2 was just sitting in stalled carts. Thanks to Kenny and his mother, this all had a happy ending.

It's at the point I have a hard time sourcing fresh ones even though they are all the exact same mushroom, it's all about the grow time. This Safeway has basically become my cremini store. They don't always have them, but they are much more likely to than a lot of the other stores...and they're actually fresh! As for everything else in the store? It's a Safeway, you've been to at least one before, surely. This location is overall quite clean and I have no complaints about that. Signup for the club card if you want the sales price on the shelf. This location has a strange layout and I get a bit lost here and there...which I'm sure they do on purpose because like many other people, I love me some impulse snackage. Self checkout has 1 line for 5 (?) machines which help things move smoothly. The times I've needed an attendant to step in have all been pleasant. The biggest thing I've noticed recently: take note of the prices! Of the things I buy regularly some of them went from Safeway being the cheapest to now being double (literally) the price than other grocery stores!!!

Horrible experience after 3 to 4 years of spending a little money here and there. They got this kid…read morenamed Solomon working there. I go to the store to get a drink and snacks. There's only 3 aisles. I grab my Pepsi, make way to candy, behind the candy to check out snacks and back to the candy. This guy thinks I'm stealing and goes... can I help you find something with a particular tone too. As if this 3 aisle store is big as walmart and I need some help? Lol Ive been coming here for years. Why do you have employees treating me like a thief Kenny? Cause I revisited the candy aisle? Please. I get better service from the 7 eleven up the street. Kenny and the rest of the workers are just fine. All it takes is one bad apple who doesnt understand the correct approach.
