I heard that we got a Paris Baguette which was exciting as I haven't been to one since my trip to New York or when my mom would bring a roll cake from the LA store whenever she visited LA. The store is lovely and huge with plenty of seating and room to wander their baked goods/cake slices. I also wasn't aware they made drinks so my boyfriend got the milk and cereal frappe but I think the barista put too much ice into it as it was tasted like icy cereal milk. We would've talked to the barista named Thyanna T but she was very rude as we were trying to redeem their offer of having a free baked good if you make a purchase, but we were doing a separate order. It's not our fault the company you work for has it advertising that offer throughout the store that we wanted to take advantage of it. The mochi donuts were chewy, soft and delicious. My friends got the chocolate ganache cake slice and strawberry cream cake and they were so soft and fluffy. The pastries were great and definitely would like to try the drinks again but hopefully with a better barista who isn't rude.

This review is one for the cakes. The pastries are a little too expensive for me. This is where I usually go to buy cakes for family events. I bought the tiramisu and the red velvet cake and it's pretty good. It's not dry and not too sweet. Good dessert for the family to try. The service is a hit or miss, sometimes they give you the plastic knife to cut the cake with the candle and sometimes they don't. Not sure if it depends on the cake you buy or who you get checking you out.

Sorry, I really wanted to love this place cuz it was my first time here and I heard so much hype about it but not impressed. I ordered the chocolate cream filled donut with hard chocolate top. The top came right off the donut when I tried to cut it and the filling tasted like something you would get out of a box of jello pudding. $5 for a lot of nothing special. This place reminds me of a cruise ship. A lot of choices but everything is just good, not great! Although Bakery Nouveau doesn't have the selection, the quality is there and the prices are comparable if not better!

I love their cakes! They're super pretty and not overly sweet, which says a lot coming from an Asian person. The cake and frosting are so light and spongy. This is officially my go-to spot for birthday cakes. The space is also really nice--clean, bright, and spacious

I am incredibly grateful that this Paris Baguette opens at 6:00 AM. The staff is always polite and welcoming, and the atmosphere is pleasant, making it a reliable spot for an early morning visit. However, after trying almost everything on the menu, I have some honest feedback regarding the freshness. On my recent visit: Pineapple & Fruit Pastries: These were delightful and visually appealing. Almond Croissant: Unfortunately, it felt a bit dry and lacked that fresh, buttery flakiness. Smoked Sausage Roll: The sausage was quite tough/hard, which made me wonder if it was truly baked fresh this morning or if it was from the previous day. I've found that their items are best enjoyed on the exact day of purchase. If left until the next morning, they tend to dry out significantly, and even reheating them in the oven doesn't quite bring back the original flavor. I love the variety and the service here, but I hope to see more consistency in the "fresh out of the oven" quality, especially for the early morning.

The peppermint mochi donut might be the best of their mochi donut offerings all year. Lovely peppermint icing - not overwhelming - and a few very small sprinkled peppermint bits (the red icing is not peppermint, I don't think; just the white piping). Also all of the usual favorites - which for us are the croissant dogs and the pepperoni pizza, along with the Hong Kong and/or Portuguese-style egg tarts. Fun holiday boxes being used to take home your goodies.

Baked good was fine at this store so I didn't give it a one star, but the price and customer service are questionable. I visited on 6/6 National Donut Day for the free mochi donut (in the app), which was sold out (expected) and they told me they are not making more for the rest of the day. I got a curry croquette, which says $4.49 on the label. And I noticed on my receipt that it said $4.99. When I asked the cashier, the first one said he doesn't know, and a second cashier came and told me that they just changed the price today because of the promo (?), but neglected to change the labels. And when I asked about price match, he just said he will tell the manager to change the labels and walked away. I waited for a few minutes, but neither the cashier nor the manager came to speak with me. First of, I hope they are not changing the price temporarily just for the promo. Second, the way the situation is handled is awkward and disappointing. I would at least expect the manager to come out and explain the situation. I wouldn't recommend this location based on my personal experience. Tip: download the app and set up an account ahead of time, as the offers takes a couple hours to load

I was searching for a baguette near me and noticed on the app as a new customer I could get an iced coffee on the house. Great way to get me through the doors. The have so many options of pastries and desserts, cakes along with baked breads. A lot of colorful, trendy dishes too. I was able to add caramel syrup for no extra charge and picked my preferred milk. Baguette was only about $4, and I enjoyed it with garlic confit on top with some pasta. The size of the baguette are nice when sliced for dipping.

Wanted some dessert after ramen and thought a slice of cake would suffice! For pieces around $7.75 for a decent slice or $8ish for a taller slice (depends on the type of cake), its not bad. On a late afternoon, it wasnt busy. Mostly people grabbing a quick bite and going. There was plenty of seating available and some tables were taken with people enjoying their dessert. Overall, I will come back and try their coffee next time with some cake. Could be a good pairing!

Strawberry Soft Cream Cake - so so good!

This was my first time visiting, and all I thought was why was I not here before! The store is very bright, and when you walk in you see tons of pastries everywhere, I really enjoyed just walking around and looking at all of the goods before I grabbed a tray and decided what I wanted. I ended up getting a chocolate croissant, an egg tart and a slice of their strawberry and cream cake to go. They use REAL cream which is amazing! Every item was well made, though it feels pricey. I also had an americano which was good. The staff were so nice, and service was quick. The store itself was very clean and the overall ambiance good. Plenty parking in the lot. Look forward to returning and trying new treats!

Been waiting a while to try the pastries here and it did not disappoint. My favorite was the biscoff doughnut, it was absolutely delicious I did get a few croissant doughnuts with custard filling in them, it was good and not too sweet so that was a surprise. Most all of the custards were perfect texture and sweetness. It is nice to be able to pick and choose what you want without having someone cater to you. Walk in, grab a tray and start picking your favorites. Coffee was great as well, with plenty of seating and space between each table. You won't feel overcrowded so definitely a great place to meet up for coffee and lunch! Friendly staff too!

There wasn't much filling in either the curry croquette or the ham and cheese croissant sandwich, and the croquette wasn't heated where the sandwich was. The donut was lighter than expected, which was a nice surprise. Sometimes cream can be heavy and this was perfectly light. Easy to grab items from the case and go to the register to order drinks. The place could use a nice sweep after so many people eat the croissants.

On a hot, sunny day around 2:50pm on Friday I decided to make the drive here after suddenly…read moreremembering one of my foodie friends had this place several times during other weekends. I actually had to park behind the building then look at other Yelp reviews to find out that there is parking on gravel near their dumpsters closest to LaShaun Daye Hair. Though I don't know if the parking lot where this building and E Marginal Way meet can also be used...street parking in this area was scarce, contrary to most Yelp reviews I've read. Anyway, I came to an empty but very chill interior with several tables and window seating, along with some semi-quiet VPop playing near the front counter to the right-hand side of the entrance. There's a small flower display along with the cafe logo a little to the back which is perfect to take photo ops with your drink and food like I did. The menu is above the front counter and - as their logo says - they specialize in banh mi and coffee, though they have some matcha and soup options among others. Staff at the front were very quick at making my coffee as I was the only one inside. I got their 16oz egg coffee, which is one of their best sellers according to the asterisk on their menu next to the name of the drink. Very strong phin-dripped Vietnamese coffee along with condensed milk and an egg foam that gave a sweet, creamy taste to the already bitter coffee at the bottom. Drinking the egg foam first, it's a nice, thick custard-like format that the coffee does not overtake, which is good since other places I've had don't have that kind of balance. My next trip back here will have to be for another one of their coffee drinks and their banh mi sandwiches as well. I can already hear my friend telling me to get one right now as I'm writing this up!

I've been wanting to try this place since I first heard of it…read more GETTING THERE: It seems tucked away in Tukwila, but it's actually extremely easy to get to and not to far off the exit from Hwy 599 coming from South Center. It's maybe about 2-3 min off the Interurban Ave exit. After a couple left turns, it's right on the corner of a 4-way stop. You can't miss it. PARKING: The place isn't very big but there is plenty of street parking available. There's also a small lot by the convenience store nearby. AMBIANCE: It's a very small place with Vietnamese decor and an aquarium. It was giving vibes of the sunroom at my aunt's house Vietnamese music playing in the background haha. There are limited seats if you choose to sit and enjoy your coffee. They have a couple tables on the side, or you can sit on the stools along the window. I think the place felt a little empty. It could use a couple more tables and chairs along the window instead of the stools. This layout kind of felt like a Baskin Robbins or a small local ice cream shop. SERVICE: I didn't see anyone at first when I walked in, but there was someone to ready to take my order by the time I got to the counter. She took my order then I took a seat at the table until she called me to grab me from my order. Not much else for service. FOOD: I mainly went here for the coffee, but I figured I should try the sandwich while I was there. I ordered the bánh mì đặc biệt (house special sandwich) and the cà phê trứng (egg coffee). The sandwich to me was alright at best. The flavors were unbalanced. I mostly tasted the chả over the other cuts and the meat was pretty cold. I get that it's called a "cold cut" for a reason, but it was really cold and kind of threw off the sandwich. The bread would've been better toasted, or at least have the option to toast it. The one thing I enjoyed was the amount of pate used. The coffee on the other hand was decent. I've been in search of more places that serve egg coffee and I usually get it every chance I get. I found it a bit weird that it comes iced. I usually get an option to choose if I want it hot or cold. It didn't specify on the menu and I was never asked. So I just assumed it was not iced because the only thing that was iced was the cà phê sữa đá. Well I was wrong... The egg part was super thick, fluffy, and creamy. It was the right amount of sweetness and saltiness too. Honestly it might be the best egg cream I've had on a coffee, but it would have been much better if the coffee was warm. I just think egg coffee should be served hot. It's a personal preference. The ice keeps the egg cream on top and I can't really mix the whole thing evenly. I would've enjoyed it more if every sip was a even mixture of egg cream and coffee. OVERALL: At the end of the day, I enjoyed this place. There are a couple small improvements that would've changed my experience. I did enjoy the coffee and that's what I originally came for. The sandwich honestly wasn't bad, but I think I would try the thịt nướng next time. Some places just do one or the other better. I think it's harder the get the cold cut sandwich right vs the grilled pork. Overall it's a nice little meet up spot and I would come back again just for the egg coffee.

Where do I even start with this place?…read more My son and I were really hungry and craving something different, so I turned to Yelp to find a great sandwich spot. I almost went to a place in Kent but wasn't completely sold, so I searched again--and that's when I found Aunt Becky's. What a gem! We originally planned to get our lunches to go, but once we arrived, we decided to stay and eat inside. The women behind the counter were absolutely lovely--so patient and helpful as they answered all our questions. The menu is clearly displayed behind the counter, and there's a fun assortment of snacks and drinks up front. I ordered a toasted BLT, which was delicious (though I can't remember exactly what my son got). While my sandwich in and of itself might not look absolutely delicious - remember that looks can be deceiving and this sandwich was life-changing on the day we went! The vibe inside is laid-back and cozy. The decor is a little older, but it just adds to the homey feel. It's clearly a spot loved by families, local businesses, and workers from nearby construction sites--people were coming in and out the whole time for takeout. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend you check it out too. You won't be disappointed! See ya there!

I went here with a bestie on a Saturday afternoon for something quick to eat and came across here. Their parking lot and the overall location is unassuming; you wouldn't expect a place like this to be around what feels like a secluded area. Plus the inside is just the front counter, the menu in big print and some small seating (not for dine-in, though). Bestie and I each got their combo bao, which comes with many ingredients like quail egg, jicama, celery, wooden ears, pork and black pepper. We wanted these heated up, and it took about 10 or so minutes for them to be ready. Bestie did also get a mini bao but asked for it not to be heated so he could eat as a midnight snack. As for the combo bao itself, the whole thing could easily qualify as a meal if you get more than one. Each is about $6 each so they are on the pricier side but it's definitely worth having and it's such a unique addition to the Tukwila area! So much so it almost feels like a hole-in-the-wall or a hidden gem... well it needs more exposure than it has!

The restaurant is located in a small plaza. Parking lot is small and we were able to park easily. Upon entry, we were greeted and were seated right away. We had a window view which was nice. We enjoyed basking under the sun LOL! For starters, we ordered two coffee, cream and sugar while we browsed the menu. The restaurant was pretty spacious and clean. Not well lit or bright. It appeared that one section (rear) was kind of dark. It was a little odd. After we placed our order. It took approximately 45-50 minutes to receive our food. It was quite long. Sadly, our waitress didn't check in to refill our coffee. My daughter ordered the waffle combo with two sunny side eggs, hash browns and two sausage links $20.99. She enjoyed her food. I had a chance to try her Belgium waffle. It was light, airy and good. For my meal, I ordered the Avocado Florentine with carne asada (up charge $5.99) Total $25.99. It looked really delicious however, it was not. Unfortunately, it was bland. No seasoned and no flavor. I added salt and it still did not taste good. It didn't help. I had only three spoons and stopped eating. This has never happened. I had packed up my leftovers for my husband have at it. When my husband tried it, he stated it was bland. I rarely give bad reviews and rarely have bad tasting breakfast. This one hit that for me. =(
