Pretty average and standard location. It's in a plaza with many other businesses so by time we arrived here on a Saturday morning at 10am, many of the closer spots were taken. The place wasn't terribly busy when we arrived. It was about 60 percent full and stayed that way throughout our time. As one person left another person came in. Not a ton of time for the staff to just stand around. Even then they were pretty nice and patience and we went back and forth on what we wanted. We ordered the Pumpkin Spice White Chocolate Latte which has pumpkin spice, white chocolate, espresso, and your choice of milk (I went with oat milk). I was disappointed in it. It wasn't terribly pumpkiny and the white chocolate really changed the profile of the drink. We also ordered the Bacon & Egg Croissant for $10 which had scrambled eggs, smoked bacon, cheddar & tomatoes on a flaky croissant. The bacon wasn't crispy which is how I like it and the croissant was flakey but pretty dry. There was a nice buzz of excitement in the air which made the atmosphere lovely despite it being rainy that morning. There was a quick turn around time. Staff were on it when a party left. They quickly wiped it down and got it ready for the next group.

I love coming here anytime of the day, the food is good and not overwhelming and service is great. We love the pasta selections, we tried all of it but my favorite is the shrimp scampi linguine and pesto cavatappi and my husband's favorite is the chicken Rosa pasta! The sandwiches are also a must try because of great flavors! The staff is polite and made our visit always enjoyable. The ambience is cozy, brought my mom here and she loved it too! It's a cafe but it exceeded my expectations! I recommend this place. Recommended dishes: Shrimp Scampi, Pesto Cavatappi, Chicken Rosa Pasta, chicken pomodori, DC croissant sandwich. Price range: very reasonable

Stopped in for breakfast and for a couple treats for a friend I was meeting up with later. I'm torn between 3 to 4 stars. I've been to this chain before at their Issaquah location. This is the same concept as Panera: Order and pay at the counter and they call out your name when the order is ready. Then grab a table or take it to go. Breakfast bowl was OK, not bad but not good. Portion was on the small side. Chocolate croissant was meh. Friend reported the snickerdoodle was ok but tasted store made. Found out after I was in my car on the highway they had doubled the bakery items! They gave them to me after I paid at the counter, then after I picked up my friend and we were headed out of town, we discovered they had put them again inside the to-go bag.

It's hard to find a place in Seattle where you can get a drink and a meal for under $20 but you can at the Corner Bakery Cafe. Great for a quick breakfast solo or with friends. Service is fast. I had the avocado wrap and was very satisfied.

Good cafe in the area. We were pleased with the portions and food was hot and tasty. Upon walking in you order at the front cashier almost like Panera for example but better lol. They give you a number to place at your table of choice. Clean lobby with bar, booth, and table seating. They brought our food to us and took the number back. Beverage station has napkins, silverware, and sauce available for grab. We enjoyed our food but I wasn't super impressed with the broccoli cheddar soup so I didn't finish that. All in all we would consider returning if in the area.

This is near us and we've been meaning to go for ages. Finally stopped by for breakfast when I returned from a trip (we are rarely out and about at a breakfasty hour). Were surprised at the large menu and the abundance of baked goods - also there is apparently some kind of buy x amount and get one free or something? Everyone around us was doing this. We both enjoyed our breakfast selections. Place was hopping, pretty popular amongst both families and workers. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Better than I expected it to be. Food comes out fast and service is as friendly as you can imagine. I ordered the veggie scramble and added chicken sausage as well as a hazelnut cold brew. The breakfast plate was pretty solid, the potatoes were not crispy by any means but they were seasoned well (i did add some salt n pepper), scrambled itself was full of veggies and the toast was a pretty standard toast. Cold brew was okay, would forego it next time.

    Croissant Chicken Salad Sandwich

A had a croissant chicken salad sandwich for $4.99 which was a good price for this sandwich. The chicken sandwich was good with celery, sunflower seeds, and currants. The currants gave a sweetness, I didn't care for. I also got a mini blueberry bundt cake that was good. Cake was moist was not too many blueberries. It was early evening so not many customers. They didn't really have anyone at the front counter. There was someone sweeping the floors but the tables really needed to be wiped down.

    Delicious baked goods!

This I my go to spot for a quick yummy breakfast! Especially with my kids because the prices are great. My food is always delicious, fresh and hot. More importantly my coffee is always good too. The have a kids menu as well. The kids menu items are $5.99 and the portions are perfect amount too. My favorite part about this place is they serve BREAKFAST ALL DAY. They also have plug ins at the TABLES for your computers, etc. That's hard to find because when I had to study for academy it was hard to find nice, quiet, spacious places with plugs in at every table.

The restaurant is located in a small plaza. Parking lot is small and we were able to park easily. Upon entry, we were greeted and were seated right away. We had a window view which was nice. We enjoyed basking under the sun LOL! For starters, we ordered two coffee, cream and sugar while we browsed the menu. The restaurant was pretty spacious and clean. Not well lit or bright. It appeared that one section (rear) was kind of dark. It was a little odd. After we placed our order. It took approximately 45-50 minutes to receive our food. It was quite long. Sadly, our waitress didn't check in to refill our coffee. My daughter ordered the waffle combo with two sunny side eggs, hash browns and two sausage links $20.99. She enjoyed her food. I had a chance to try her Belgium waffle. It was light, airy and good. For my meal, I ordered the Avocado Florentine with carne asada (up charge $5.99) Total $25.99. It looked really delicious however, it was not. Unfortunately, it was bland. No seasoned and no flavor. I added salt and it still did not taste good. It didn't help. I had only three spoons and stopped eating. This has never happened. I had packed up my leftovers for my husband have at it. When my husband tried it, he stated it was bland. I rarely give bad reviews and rarely have bad tasting breakfast. This one hit that for me. =(

They have a list of combos that are huge portions for at least 2-3 meals? My husband got the fried catfish with choice of 3 sides & I got the 3 wings with 3 sides combo. The catfish was moist on the inside & light & crisp with a cornmeal crust on the outside. 2 big filets in his combo with 3 sides, he chose Mac & cheese, collard greens with turkey neck meat(no pork) & candied yams...all so tasty & huge portions. The special today was chicken etouffee served on a bed of white rice for $13! The gravy was rich & flavorful, the chicken was tender. So tasty...they also have a combo with BBQ ribs that are so tender the meat falls off the bone clean! All combos also come with a square slice of cornbread. Their cornbread is more cake like & sweet style. The owner Kenny is nice & hospitable, attentive always making sure everything is ok. I was too full for Dole Whip today but they had original pineapple flavor & watermelon as well...the 2nd flavor changes periodically but they always have pineapple. Soulfood Sunday is always the last Sunday of the month but they always have wings, catfish, grilled sandwiches & more on the daily & they even have a tables & chairs as well as a high counter seating along the window. Stop by for some hearty tasty eats! The store side of the shop has some really great products...way better than any corner store you've stepped foot in, very nice shop. Unexpected little corner market with good food, great groceries & all the vibes. Check it out the next time you are in downtown Renton.

I stood there waiting while two employees were right in front of me chatting, and another employee was cleaning the grill. What bothered me most was the lack of basic food-handling hygiene. The employee cleaning the grill had on plastic gloves, took them off using her hands, threw them away, then grabbed a new pair of gloves without washing her hands in between. The restaurant itself felt pretty clean which was definitely a plus and definitely appreciated. To be fair, when the employee did speak, she seemed like a nice person but there was no customer service attached to my experience. I paid, started to leave, and even waited to see if someone would say "have a nice day" or anything...........nothing. I don't like being overly tough on fast food places, but people work extremely hard nowadays to earn money and the bare minimum any business can offer is a simple smile and basic customer service. It's not about big business vs. small business it's about kindness and showing appreciation that each customer feels valued and appreciated. Twenty bucks for a sandwich, bag of chips and poor service. Definitely an easy 2 Stars for me. 2 Stars

Plus the inside is just the front counter, the menu in big print and some small seating (not for dine-in, though). Bestie and I each got their combo bao, which comes with many ingredients like quail egg, jicama, celery, wooden ears, pork and black pepper. Walking into this location, the interior is clean, simple, and welcoming. It has that classic sandwich shop feel: bright lighting, an open counter where you can watch your sub being made, and a steady but efficient flow of customers. It's not overly fancy, but it doesn't need to be--the focus here is clearly on the food and the experience. The staff keeps things moving smoothly, and there's a sense of familiarity if you've been coming here as long as I have. I actually made the switch from Subway years ago, and I haven't looked back since. What stands out most about Jersey Mike's is the value. You're getting a noticeably larger portion, especially with a "regular" size, which honestly feels more like what other places would call a large. It's filling, satisfying, and worth every dollar. My two staples are the #13 The Original Italian and the #2 Jersey Shore's Favorite--and you truly can't go wrong with either. The #13 is packed with a variety of meats that all complement each other, while the #2 keeps things simple with provolone and ham, letting the quality of the ingredients really shine. That's what I appreciate most: the simplicity. There's nothing overly complicated here--just fresh bread, good meats, crisp toppings, and a balance that works every single time. Everything tastes fresh, at least in my experience, and you can genuinely taste the difference compared to competitors. The bread has the right texture, the ingredients don't feel processed or stale, and the sandwiches are assembled with care. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back. No matter how many times I've ordered from this location over the years, I've never had an issue with quality. That's rare, especially for a chain. At this point, ordering from this Jersey Mike's has become second nature. I know exactly what I'm going to get, and they deliver on that expectation every time. That level of reliability, combined with solid portions and fresh ingredients, makes it an easy choice. I'll absolutely continue ordering from this location--it's one of those places you can depend on when you want something quick, filling, and consistently good.

The toasted baguette and pickled carrot and daikon were all fresh and crispy. However, I wished they put more vegetables inside. I also was disappointed by the chicken as it was shredded and not grilled. It tasted like canned chicken and was overall kind of bland. Had I known the chicken wasn't grilled, I would've gone with the grilled pork instead. Additionally, there was too much pate (which reminded me of melted salted butter, but gooier - almost like the texture of brie cheese) slathered on the sandwich and so I ended up scraping most of it off. Compared to Yeh Yeh's in Lynnwood, this banh mi unfortunately missed the mark for me (although it is convenient). With that said, I'd give them another try and try the grilled pork next instead with light pate. My mother tried the fresh rolls, and thought they were kind of small for the price. The peanut sauce was decent. I took my lunch to go, but the interior atmosphere is cozy. Service was decent too. Overall: 3/5 for food, 4/5 for service, 3.5/5 for atmosphere

On a hot, sunny day around 2:50pm on Friday I decided to make the drive here after suddenly…read moreremembering one of my foodie friends had this place several times during other weekends. I actually had to park behind the building then look at other Yelp reviews to find out that there is parking on gravel near their dumpsters closest to LaShaun Daye Hair. Though I don't know if the parking lot where this building and E Marginal Way meet can also be used...street parking in this area was scarce, contrary to most Yelp reviews I've read. Anyway, I came to an empty but very chill interior with several tables and window seating, along with some semi-quiet VPop playing near the front counter to the right-hand side of the entrance. There's a small flower display along with the cafe logo a little to the back which is perfect to take photo ops with your drink and food like I did. The menu is above the front counter and - as their logo says - they specialize in banh mi and coffee, though they have some matcha and soup options among others. Staff at the front were very quick at making my coffee as I was the only one inside. I got their 16oz egg coffee, which is one of their best sellers according to the asterisk on their menu next to the name of the drink. Very strong phin-dripped Vietnamese coffee along with condensed milk and an egg foam that gave a sweet, creamy taste to the already bitter coffee at the bottom. Drinking the egg foam first, it's a nice, thick custard-like format that the coffee does not overtake, which is good since other places I've had don't have that kind of balance. My next trip back here will have to be for another one of their coffee drinks and their banh mi sandwiches as well. I can already hear my friend telling me to get one right now as I'm writing this up!

I come here pretty often when I'm craving a quick bánh mì and Vietnamese coffee, and they never…read moremiss. One thing I really appreciate is the consistency every visit is just as good as the last, which makes it such a reliable go to when I don't want to think too hard about where to eat. The bánh mì is always fresh with a good balance of flavors. When they first opened the coffee was kinda lackin but recently I tried it again and the Vietnamese coffee hits every time strong, smooth, and exactly what I need. It's also a really cute spot with a welcoming vibe, and the staff are always friendly and efficient, which makes the whole experience even better. Simple, dependable, and always satisfying definitely one of my regular stops.
