The flavors rotate every 2 weeks and they have a good selection of donut flavors, with fillings ranging from whipped cream to mascarpone cream, cream cheese, and pastry cream fillings. The owner is super friendly and always offers samples, such as her chocolate chip cookie, which is really good! This is a good alternative to The Flour Box as the lines here are not as long. I think the donuts here are a little more dense and not as airy, but they still have good flavor and quality!! Really liked the Cereal milk donut, whipped Ube, Black Sesame, Savory Everything, Tiramisu. Didn't like the Dubai Chocolate one as much, the price was much higher than the other flavors, the Kadayif pastry was only on the top as a topping, and the pistachio flavor didn't stand out as strongly as I had hoped. Really good brioche donuts on the Eastside! We got 4 out of the 6 different flavors and all of them were delicious. The dough was light and fluffy and the flavors were well-balanced and interesting. My personal favorite was the cappuccino because the cream filling was light and had a strong coffee flavor, but all 4 flavors were excellent. The flavors change every 2 weeks so we might be back pretty soon to try some new ones! We also got a black sesame latte which was delicious and had a strong sesame flavor. There's some street parking directly in front of the store but there are also some parking lots nearby. There's not any seating inside so grab your donuts and enjoy them elsewhere. read more

I think the filling for the donuts were quite delicious and there was a good amount of filling. Mango sticky rice had real chunks of mango. The dough wasn't as light and airy as other brioche donuts I've had, which is usually my favorite part about a brioche donut. The barista initially poured too much milk in my cup so the matcha being poured at the end overflowed and my cup was wet. This probably contributed to my drink mainly tasting like oat milk. I finally had the chance to try their donuts at the store front. I had them a long time ago when they were still doing pop ups. Looks like the hype died down as there was no line. The place is small, just big enough for maybe 7-8 people at a time. Since I don't come here often, I decided to splurge a little and got a little of everything: Black sesame, cereal milk, strawberry lemon donuts 4/5: these were good donuts. The flavor was there, the donut was firm and held it's shape even after 6+ hours. Black sesame and cranberry oatmeal 3.5/5 : the cranberry oatmeal was definitely better than the black sesame. . It has a slight crunch at the edge and chewy middle. Gochuan cheese scone 4.5/5 : love the flavor profile of this one. I wish the outside has more of a crisp but it was all just soft and one note. Over the summer there were long wait times, close to 40 mins. They weren't running things efficiently to keep the line moving. Tried the new seasonal donuts today from Good Lazy! We ordered the apple cider, the creme brulee, the milo chocolate, and the cookie butter. All of them were amazing! IMO, where Good Lazy really stands out is their fillings, all of which are smooth, light (except the apple cider, which was a tad thicker), and creamy. I'm not typically a fan of filled donuts but this is definitely the exception! One thing to note is that the donut dough is just a tad denser than some other places (but still incredibly soft and fluffy!), I think in order to support all that delectable filling inside! But something to note if you prefer fluffier, lighter donuts (which I typically do). I also really liked how the dough is a little less sweet since it really lets the filling stand out and helps balance the flavors. I tried the Savory Everything, Thai Tea, and Strawberries N' Cream. All of them were great. The strawberry was my favorite. If you're craving something savory like a bagel, the Everything is a good choice. I also got the Gochujang scone, if you're into that flavor, I'd recommend it. The shop is small but nicely decorated, and it looks to be family-run, which adds a nice touch. Inside you'll find a display of beautiful donuts and friendly employees doing all the prep work and baking. There isn't anywhere to sit down inside so you're kind of forced to take what you buy to go. There was no line when I went on a Saturday afternoon. While I was waiting for my drink a couple other people came in, but I guess there used to be very long lines. And they used to run out of items. I chose the strawberry lemonade donut, the gochujang cheddar scone and the earl grey matcha latte. It was a little pricey, but expected. I should have asked for a bag, but I wasn't offered one nor did I see any behind the display. It was a little awkward trying to carry my drink and not drop the pastries out of their sleeves. The donut was soft and filled to the max with a lovely strawberry lemon mousse. It was a solid filled donut and I like that they are so beautifully presented with the little slice of strawberry on the top. The scone was cheddary and a little spicy, but my friend who took a bite thought it was just a jalepeno cheese biscuit and I also couldn't really taste the gochujang. It had lots of green onions too, which I think could turn some people off. The latte was maybe my least favorite. I couldn't taste the earl grey at all and it was very creamy. Maybe next time I would get the matcha with oat milk? I guess I prefer my matcha to milk ratio to be higher. I did see that they whisk their own powdered matcha which is nice, but it's becoming the norm at smaller businesses like this. Solid place to grab a pastry and a coffee or matcha drink in Issaquah. We arrived there at around 9am on a Friday morning and there was a decent line out the door. I'd say we waited about 20 minutes but it was super worth! Overall the donuts were so light and fluffy. They had a light sugar coating around the donut, which gave it a nice slight crunch from the granulated sugar. Yet, despite being coated in this thin layer of sugar it was not too sweet and not overwhelming. The fry on the donuts were also very good as I didn't find them oily. Calamansi Cheescake - The Clamansi cheesecake was fairly tart. Though, I did find it more citrusy rather than creamy. It was more Calamansi forward and I felt like I didn't get very much cream cheese flavor from this donut. Boston Creme - This was my favorite donut. The cream inside was so silky, smooth, and delicate. The flavor of the cream perfectly complimented the softness of the donut. I'm not sure how to explain it, but this donut might be the best donut I've ever tasted. The flavors just worked so well together and were well balanced. Plain - Basically a bite of pillowy soft goodness. Not too sweet, not too oily, no notes, excellent donut! This was from a few weeks ago but I really want to try this weeks matcha mascarpone, tiramisu, and peaches & cream hopefully I'll have time to make it out there this week! A must try! We drove 30 minutes just to try Lazy Donuts. It did not disappoint. The UBE is a must try. Not to sweet, just the perfect touch of ube. The strawberry crunch took me back to my childhood a little. Reminded me of the strawberry crunch ice cream bar. My son loves Nutella and let's just say, no crumbs were left behind! Good lazy has opened a storefront in the Issaquah Highlands since I first discovered them! The line, even after two months, has not died down. Be prepared to wait. (I arrived a little after 9 on a Sunday morning and still waited 45 minutes.) I stopped by Good Lazy when they first opened about a month ago, and I've already been back a few times! The shop is super clean, the vibe is welcoming, and the staff couldn't be friendlier. It's in the same complex as Regaiin Issaquah. There is plenty of street parking and parking across the street in the strip mall. I didn't find anything special about their donuts. Finally I made it to try out the donuts people have been raving about. Location is convenient. Store is clean and minimalist. All the sweets are showcasing front and center. There were stuffed donuts in variety flavors and one classic. Then cookies and scones. I got vanilla lavender, strawberry lemonade, marshmallow, salt caramel and classic donuts. One of each cookies. Pistachio cranberry scone and matcha lavender scone. Earl grey matcha drink. It was packed in boxes for the donuts and they looked very pretty and delicious. The earl grey matcha didn't tasted any earl grey in it at all. However the sweetest of tea was perfect. The cookies were okay. Not really anything standout in flavorings. The dough for the donuts are your classic old fashioned donuts. It's fluffy, springy and doughy. The fillings I liked the best was strawberry lemonade. Overall the donuts were okay to me but there will be people that would enjoy more than I did. I am glad I tried this place thou. Price point is on the expensive side. Do try it out. read more

Finally got a chance to go in person to this already viral shop filled with fluffy and "not too sweet" donuts! My first donut was a bit too yeasty but the other ones were not. The lines can get long and they're not super efficient at getting the donuts out but I guess when you've got a limited supply of donuts you don't need to turn over the lines that quickly.
