The probiotic overnight oats here are my favorite, it's sooo good! The honey cardamom and Carmel silk lattes are the best too. Wait times can be long here, but they have an order online option. There's plenty of inside and outside seating.

Update; After leaving my only 4-star review for Mercury's Coffee I was quickly contacted by the manager to address the concerns I had in the review. I did not expect that at all since it was a 4-star review. I have to update that review to a 5-star. This is a stellar establishment that actually cares about their customers and customer service. I was already a loyal customer since all my previous visits were great, and I'm an even bigger fan after experiencing the upstanding business culture of this company. Thanks again for hearing me and making my day! I'll be back next time I visit my family!

Mercury coffee is consistent and delicious every single time. It's the most amazing experience because I feel like a kid at a candy store. All the treats and devious drinks! Heaven is on earth after all.

My friend I didn't realize this place was such a craze, so when we saw the long line we were kind of taken aback, and then wondered if it would be worth it at all. IT WAS SO WORTH IT!!!!!! First of all, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. And don't let the line deceive you, the service is quick. My friend got a blonde Hawaiian and she loved the balance of sweet and macadamia nut. I got an iced chai with oat milk, and it definitely tasted like Oregon trail, but honestly, it was still good. We had a couple of croissants and some lemon raspberry madeleines, those were also good. But the true star of their menu was the turkey havarti!!! The bread is baked fresh in house and is so perfectly salted and bouncy. The garlic aioli they use on the sandwich is also drool worthy, and they give a good amount of meat! The sandwich looks small, but she is MIGHTY! I can wait to have that sandwich again!

I'm a huge fan of the aesthetic, the drinks and the food, both in quality and flavors. The closest location to me is an hour away so when I go, I buy everything and try to enjoy my visit as best as I can. Service quality is honestly spotty - for example, the last time I went, the cashiers were all chatting and seemed to be very relaxed, despite it being busy, and they made me feel like I was inconvenient to them. Not overtly rude but definitely giving those vibes. Another issue is seating availability, but usually you can find a tiny spot to settle on.

This is the only Mercury Coffee that has an in-house bakery. I enjoy coming here for coffee and something sweet post dinner when I'm on the Eastside. I remind myself that while they make their own croissants in-house, they are not a patisserie. Once, I reset my expectations, then I can enjoy the baked goods on their own merit. So far, I've enjoyed the raspberry lemon scone, cinnamon roll and the twice baked chocolate almond croissant. The ham and cheese was okay and was sampled prior to my resetting my expectations. Portions are huge and definitely shareable. The friendly customer service has been hit or miss. Sometimes it's friendly and helpful and sometimes not so much. There's plenty of seating inside and outdoors. If you sign up for their rewards program, you get $10 to spend on a future visit.

This was a nice surprise. Nothing too flashy from the outside but open the door and among other items, the biggest fluffiest croissants are just sitting there waiting for someone to eat them. I loved their croissant combos- -croissants with peppery bacon and beechers cheese, -turkey, provolone and Beecher's cheese croissants as well as creative quiches and sweet treats. Have you seen their cinnamon buns? I chose a croissant with bacon, egg, tomato and cheese. They warmed it up and it was above and beyond! Lots of fun treats here. They have their own coffee beans and they are delicious. So much flavor! They make their lattes with the Rising beans and they are worth purchasing. Service was extremely friendly. We will be back many times over.

Overall: Mercury coffee is a fairly standard coffee shop, has a variety of coffees and pastries. Only ordered 1 coffee from here, but unfortunately it was far too sweet for my liking. Food: I ordered the mocha fusion, I understand that it is supposed to be a sweet coffee, but it was just too sweet to handle. This drink's recipe needs to be reworked. Service: The service is fast, they get your coffee ready quick. Ambiance: Fairly standard coffee shop, as a couple of seats in the back with a bar style table where you can sit.

    Salted caramel cold brew
    Jason C.

Honestly one of my favorite local coffee chains, it took me a few tries but did end up finding my favorite drink - salted caramel cold brew. Staffs are super efficient and always nice, music is loud and super crowded most of the time so at least for me this is not a place for you to work or read a book.

These are what a croissants are supposed to look like. This is an image stock from the internet and NOT from Mercury.
    Nancy L.

Croissants are supposed to be layered and flaky. Mercury's croissants are not those. It's just a piece of bread that anybody can make. Either they forgot how to make croissants or they don't care how to make them anymore. I once complained a year ago about their croissants and stopped going but I decided to give them another chance and they have once again failed. Management or the owner's need to do a reassessment on their bakery. Just advertise it as "bread" because they aren't croissants.

The roasting area. They were making pastries too!

My friend and I were on a small scale excursion around Issaquah. I wasn't sure about my next stop after some walking on a pedestrian/bike lane but suggested we go to a coffee shop. My friend then took me to Mercurys Coffee, which is a chain in the east side and a place where my friend likes to go occasionally. I thought the coffee is good and the staff were friendly. I ordered iced caramel macchiato, half sweet. Service was fast too. I liked how there are plenty of seats, and even with the place almost full, we were able to find a seat outside in the shade. I also liked how it's open until 9 pm so you don't have to worry about being there for a really long time. There are two gender neutral bathroom which is kept clean.

Vanilla Latte and Bacon, Egg & Beecher's Flagship
    Steven T.

One of my girlfriend's favorite coffee spots in Seattle that she wanted to show me. The coffee was good - sweet vanilla flavor, but not overpowering and could still taste the coffee flavor. The sandwich was absolutely amazing. They make their own rolls in house that were buttery and flakey like a croissant, but slightly firmer. Paired with famous Beecher's cheese, a little bit of mayo and maple syrup, this elevated bacon egg and cheese was one of the best breakfast sandwiches that I have ever had. Forget Starbucks and come check this place out when in Seattle! Entrees: Bacon Egg and Cheese Drinks: Iced Vanilla Latte

This is always my go to cafe atleast once whenever we make our annual Bellevue visit. Big and open space .... Roasting onsite and bakery is full of stuff which never goes out of stock even you visit in the evening. Blonde Hawaiian is my fav.

Hi Bunny! Yes, we offer Lotus Energy at all of our locations.

Has the company taken measures to protect the baked goods inside within the service island? Are the goods still right up against the glass/plastic barrier without any covering?

😷😐 haha I've been here many times. They do there best to protect the food with plastic wrap and if it's not wrapped it's behind the case. Perhaps you'd prefer a place that just uses photos to display the food. 🤣 I feel like they do. So...

The matcha - I was pleased to taste that they used very good quality matcha powder. The drink was smooth, creamy, and a little sweet from the vanilla syrup. The seafood tartine- I was a little disappointed to see the seafood to toast ratio. I wish they gave twice as much of the seafood mixture. That said, they did give ample toast. It was more than double the width of a normal slice. The texture of the bread was also soft. It was moist and dry at the same time - hard to describe. You could tell they didn't skimp on the butter. It reminded me a little of corn bread, but didn't taste like cornbread at all. There was a hint of sweetness as well. Honestly you could have the toast plain and it was very nice. The staff was very friendly and efficient. My food and drink came out quickly each time. They also move through customers in line pretty quickly. I would absolutely come back to work here again, or just for a cheeky coffee and pastry. Maybe next time with headphones. :) Parking - I just parked at the library and walked the couple blocks over. Additional: they have baby changing station in the lady's restroom.

They also serve regular and specialty drinks, and my friend and I wanted to get some here. Staff here was quick with our orders. My friend got their assam boba milk tea, while I - in the best way yet - went overboard and got both their cream brûlée latte and their strawberry chiffon cake. - The creme brûlée latte was put in a cup where I couldn't see the inside of the drink, but it still tasted great despite it being late at night. Coffee is strong, and the crema has a sweet taste that blends well with the coffee itself without making the drink too bitter. - The strawberry chiffon cake was a lot even for the two of us to split but besides that it was not too sweet, and the sponge cake inside wasn't either. Outside filling tastes heavily of cheese, though. This particular cake has the face of Hello Kitty. From reviews and hearsay, I hear they have baking classes here which is really cool. I'm not much a fan of the parking situation around the area especially late at night but I love the concept and would make a trip back to have their other pastries.

First impressions: the space is genuinely charming. Everything is thoughtfully presented--very dreamy, almost cloud‑like in aesthetic. You want to love it before you even take a bite. The fruit cakes were pleasant, but this is where personal preference really matters. For me, I always lean toward more fruit, less cream. While the whipped cream feels light at first, after a few bites it starts to feel heavy and a bit greasy on the palate--pretty, but not especially restrained. The black sesame cake was the most interesting--and the most polarizing. The first bite was a true wow: deep, nutty, and indulgent. But as I worked through it, the texture became confusing. There were jelly‑like cubes mixed in that broke up the experience in a way I couldn't quite reconcile. I love black sesame, but this particular execution wasn't entirely my thing. The standout, without question, was the croissant. It's excellent--beautifully laminated, crisp where it should be, tender where it counts. I completely understand why they've earned awards here. I only wished there were a savory vegetarian option to explore the full range of what they can do. As for the coffee: visually, it's spot‑on. Flavor-wise, it misses the mark. Pouring caramel over the top without integrating it into the pulled shots means it sinks straight to the bottom. The result is an unbalanced experience--mild up top, an overwhelming sugar bomb at the end. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it. All that said, it was genuinely fun to try, and it's the kind of place I'd revisit out of curiosity--especially to see what shows up seasonally. I'd absolutely be intrigued by something like a passionfruit offering.
