Such cool place with really yummy food and great service. I also liked that a parking lot nearby is only $5 an hour it was enough for us.
HUGE and delicious almond croissant! The vietnamese coffee was more on the sweet side. Very nice and friendly staff, good service. No joke they do sell out especially on weekends so get there early! Had a few tables inside and outside, good location in downtown Bellevue.

I been here a couple of times now and I still don't think I can really rate this place properly haha First time I got a regular croissant and it was just ok. It was big though, flavors were good, just not flaky. This time I got an almond Chocolate croissant. This was definitely delicious. Love that it wasn't too sweet as well and the crunch is from the almonds. My only complaint is that there's never much left I when I go, and it's not that late. I came at 930!the second time around and there was barely anything left. People are nice though and the place only have a couple of seatings, it's mostly for takeout which makes sense cause parking sucks. Either street parking or there's a paid parking lot nearby you can use. I feel like I have to come back to try at least one more thing before I am satisfied, but for now, the two items I got was good.
We came in around 11:30 on a Monday and they were pretty much sold out of all their bakery. I wish I could have seen more of the options! All the same we got some quiches which were lovely and drinks. The server was very knowledgeable and patient with us as we tried to decide what would be best for my partner to eat after his medical procedures nearby. It wasn't too busy and the seating area was spacious and cozy with lots of windows for nature light.
I was reminded today of how much of a difference great service is. While we arrived a little late for some of their pastries, we did find enough of a selection to choose from. But I digress...Royal Bakehouse has ample seating and validated parking in the building. We ordered from a kind and welcoming woman then proceeded to sit down at a semi clean table when she immediately brought over our drinks and insisted that she clean the table before we sat down, then apologized for not having gotten to it sooner. This is someone who views customer service as a craft and if I were only recognizing her, the rating would be off the charts. Pastries were picture perfect and delicious. They lean towards a chewier texture, not overly sweet with subtle flavors that complement not overwhelm. Worth a visit!
Every bakery has it's specialty and Royal Bakehouse is the best in Bellevue for their danishes! Sooo light and flaky, with an amazing variety of types, from guava cream cream cheese to a mixed berry with custard. Their almond croissants -- also amazing -- really anything they make that is a variation of the croissant pastry is simply to die for! Love this bakery and I visit them every time I have house guests, as all of my guests have also been in awe of these flaky little treasures Also worthy of note, if you purchase these treats frequently, they do offer a punch card.
I'm always on the hunt for good French bakes and this one popped up on one of my weekend strolls. The place is a bit tucked away, so doesn't gather all the attention. A quaint little French bakery, serving fresh bakes. They have ample seating, good service and fresh bakes. They had a great selection of crossiants - both savory and sweet, quiches and coffee. Ample vegetarian options too, that I loved. I had a savory crossiant and boy, so delicious. The pricing is a bit expensive than normal, but their portion sizes are bigger too, which kind of justifies it. The crossiant was pretty huge!
You don't just serve pastries, you guys create moments! The pastry was beautifully flaky with a rich, flavorful center, and the coffeeee was smooth, well-crafted, and comforting. Everything felt fresh, and made with care. They turn a simple coffee break into something special. P. S. This bakery always makes my day whenever I stop by, thank you!
FYI not much selection if you come late morning. I met a friend here at 10am and there were only four pastries left total and the woman in front of me bought one of them leaving only 3. They have sandwiches and other things you can get made to order but in terms of pastries you definitely gotta get here early! The tomato and pesto croissant was good, as was the quiche Lorraine. London fog was more watery and less sweet than i am used to but it was fine. Other things: -Street parking or a private paid lot next door -Inside was not crowded at all, would be a good quiet place to read or study potentially -Super clean bathroom
I ordered 2 strawberry/blueberry crepes, vanilla steamer, and iced strawberry vietnamese coffee. The crepes were good but once we paid and sat down I was asked to come back up and pay more because the employee didn't charge me enough even though she had me verify my order on the screen and it was all correct. Very weird in my opinion to ask customers to pay more for their mistake that wasn't even properly explained (the order screen was 100% correct when I paid) My 16oz iced strawberry vietnamese coffee was $8 and gross. Had absolutely no strawberry flavor. Any daughter's vanilla steamer was $5 and tasted like just milk. I'm not from the area but frequent a couple times a year and visited this place based on seeming like it had good reviews but I won't be returning again. 2 crepes and 2 smaller sized drinks for almost $50 in a order at the counter style cafe is insane.
Came here to enjoy your sunny day and got a Nutella cruffin (croissant muffin?!?) and a caramel macchiato. Both were delicious, and the cruffin was so fresh and perfectly chewy. The staff was friendly, and there is plenty of seating. I would definitely return! There is street parking out front that I used.
The food was so good and I loved the taste of the food. They also gave us the food so fast and we loved it! we ate so much food that we were so happy and full. Great cruffins! I tried the raspberry and Nutella flavors. They were both well made, with crispy shells and soft interiors. The raspberry filling was sweet and delicious. Both had a bit too much filling for me, but that may be a personal preference. I'd go back for more pastries! read more
I saw someone post this special gem of an IG Post. Can I tell you, Royal Bakehouse blessed us! Corner spot in Bellevue, such a cute shop. Great parking too. The pastries are definely some to WOW over. They are HUGE and oh so tasty. The presentation was almost too pretty to eat. Service was good as well. I'm big on customer service! Prices are great for the quantity and quality of these beautiful and delicious pastries. A MUST TRY!! I'm not close to Royal Bakehouse but you better bet I'm makin some occasional visits. read more

This spot has some of the BIGGEST pastries I have ever seen! I was really craving a croissant and saw the great reviews here, so figured I would give it a shot. The line inside was kind of weird to follow, but I was helped soon enough. I got a regular butter croissant, which was literally double the size of a normal croissant. I've actually never seen a pastry so big before. They heated it up for me which was nice, and for the size the price was pretty reasonable. The croissant itself was pretty good, but not the best I've had. There were plenty of layers and it wasn't dry, and it had a nice butter flavor too. read more
The food was amazing and the location was great too as we were able to walk from downtown Bellevue Park right to the bake house. They have both indoor and outdoor seating! dogs are allowed in their outdoor seating area. The service was quick and efficient. read more

Such a cute café! It's a very clean space with a few seats and tables. The employees here are also so nice -- we were greeted with a smile and they were patient while we were trying to figure out which pastries to order. I came a few hours before closing on Sunday, and there were some pastries sold out, but there was still a decent amount available to choose from. I'm not a huge fan of pastries, but I decided to try the Lemon Blueberry Muffin and the Guava Cream Cheese Strudel to share with two other friends. They were DELICIOUS. I thought I wouldn't enjoy the strudel, but it was soooo good. It had a perfect balance of the fruity flavor with the cream cheese, and the texture of the strudel was literally perfect. The portion was also pretty big! The lemon blueberry muffin was also delicious. I also ordered a caramel macchiato since I needed caffeine. I'm not super well-versed in coffee, but I thought it was delicious. I will definitely be coming here and trying more of their pastries because I am a huge fan of this café. read more

So I was looking for a coffee shop to go to and it's the one I found with the best ratings so I went to it when I came in I got greeted. I was looking at the pastries and what I want to eat. I already knew wanted a caramel macchiato and what I ate was a omelette which had a lot of vegetables and the bagel was good, but I was not expecting a sandwich. It was OK to me it just too much vegetables for me it wasn't an omelette, but I will try something different to eat and more coffee drinks over there read more

One of the best coffee shops I've ever been to! They have the most delicious sandwiches and coffee I've ever had. The customer service is amazing!!! everyone is so kind and friendly :) Also, The place is also super clean and cozy. Highly recommended !! read more
I ordered a sausage croissant I feel duped getting a cold hot dog crossiant and now my stomach is churning. The sandwich I also ordered came with more salad than what was the actual salad and the sandwich a smidge of moz and meat. Lame!! People in New York would throw this sandwich in the garbage. read more

Super delicious bakery spot in the Bellevue area!! We came here to grab a quick breakfast and we were blown away by how beautiful the pastries look (they were bigger than the usual ones and each pastry is so neatly put together). This place also offers other options like sandwiches if you're not feeling something sweet. We ended up getting an almond croissant which was delish. I love almond croissants and I've definitely had one of the best here. Really like how there's an abundance of almond slices on top as well as powdered sugar with some fillings in the middle. read more

I rated 4 but my real feelings are closer to 3.5. I love visiting bakeries to try their croissants. It's my current thing. Royal bakehouse is the latest in my string of food adventures. I got a strawberry croissant. They offered to warm it up which may have impacted the texture. I prefer my croissants a bit crispy but soft and this was mostly soft. The strawberry is just jam. Probably didn't choose the best pastry to make a review but I was feeling strawberry. It was pleasantly given to me on a plate with utensils since I decided to dine in. I tend to prefer unique offerings in a bake house and this one seems to mostly have more classic offerings. That's my self reasoning on why most of the pastries weren't that enticing to me. Just not my cup of tea. There is a lot of construction around this bakery so the view is construction. The bakery itself is very clean and modern. They did ask for my vaccine card. At the moment it appears the rite aid next door is closed so the parking lot next door seems to serve for easy parking. read more

Stopped in here for breakfast on a Sunday. Wasn't too busy and they still had a lot of great offerings in their bakery case. We ordered a quiche Lorraine, a tomato brie and pesto croissant and a London fog. The pastries are a little bit pricey, but they are definitely worth it. Both of the items were outstanding. The tomato croissant was so savory and perfectly seasoned. I could only eat half, but I loved every bite. The kiss rain was tiny, but it packed a flavorful punch. I am really impressed with the quality of their baked goods. I can't wait to go back to try more of their sweeter croissants, and baked goods. The London fog was really well-made. We met the owner, who took our order and was the loveliest lady. We heard she bakes everything herself every morning. There was a friendly young guy who made my excellent London Fog and they use really high-quality tea pigs. This is the kind of place I love to support, and we will definitely be back! read more

Fresh. Fresh. Fresh. Royal Bakehouse is a well deserved 5 star! Let's talk details! Location: Conveniently located in downtown Bellevue on 106th it is easy to find. If you drive, simply park in the building and they'll give you a validated parking ticket so parking is free! If you walk, look for the entrance off of 106th and you'll enter a clean, modern and roomy bakery/coffee shop. Plenty of tables, counter seating and outdoor sitting! Bakery Yummies: I left my visit smiling because everything I tasted was fresh - fresh - fresh! We ordered an almond croissant and a ham/cheese sandwich. Both were delicious and in speaking with the owner, she prides herself on giving her customers only the best experience so bakes her goodies daily. Coffee: The coffee menu is vast! It was a pleasant surprise to see Vietnamese coffee on the menu and it did not dissapoint. My partner savored every sip while I enjoyed my latte which was smooth and balanced presented very nicely in a cozy cup. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a good cup of coffee to enjoy with friends, if you would like to savor croissants and pastries or even pick up a box to take home for the family! It's all fresh and a Bellevue gem! read more
