Spanish Latte (ok) and Hot Chocolate (awful)
Lynne M.

Parking in the Spring District can be tough. Server seemed very nice, took our order for a Spanish Latte (sweetened condensed milk) and hot chocolate, and called out each drink as they were very slowly made (rather than having both drinks served together). Neither drink was hot; neither was strong. The latte wasn't milky or sweet, but the coffee was ok. The hot chocolate tasted like a powdered drink mix you can get at a grocery store. The cups are great - the textured outside is easy to grip. The room is cozy looking and I like the decor. But the seats aren't very comfortable. The room didn't seem heavily perfumed when I walked in, but the scent became overwhelming after I'd been sitting for a few minutes. This might have been due to the arrival of a customer, so I don't blame the business but it marred my experience.

Absolutely beautiful menu and staff. Loved the unique coffee options as well as pastries. The staff helped me narrow down what to order. Ambiance is so cute and cozy, too. Love to see a Muslim owned location get so much love from the community

We've seen this new coffee shop and wanted to stop in to try their unique coffee flavors. We looked over their menu and decided on two popular drinks: Knafa Latte and Pistachio Rose White Mocha Latte, we also ordered two Zaatar croissants (we wanted to try other items on the menu but they were out of stock. Service was on the slower side, I think that's a combination of being a newer shop with newer staff. However, the employees were extremely helpful and friendly. Our drinks were great, the rose syrup in both drinks was slightly overpowering but overall the drinks were good. I feel that for the pistachio latte - a pistachio cold foam would elevate the flavor as pistachio was minimal and same with the knafa latte - a cheese cold foam would elevate the flavors giving a full knafa taste. The croissant was an actual croissant cut in half, topped with Zaatar and filled with Zaatar, arugula, tomato and cucumbers... it was ok. Seating inside is plentiful despite the fact that the coffee shop looks smaller and the decor gives Arabia vibes. Overall, nice new coffee shop and I'd be back to try other items once they have them in stock.

Such a delicious, cozy, and beautiful coffee shop! From the moment we stepped in, the staff were so welcoming and engaging. We throughly enjoyed their recommendations on what to order. We had three different lattes: vanilla, knafeh, and Baklawa. Ordered two pastries: knafeh and the gluten free chocolate cake. There are so many more things I want to try and will be back again. The only thing that you need to prepare yourself for is parking. Many of the garages around the area had "parking garage full" signs. We were able to find parking but it took some searching. Well worth the scavenger hunt.

My friends and I are visiting from California and we were craving some caffeine and pastries. We found this spot on TikTok and it did not disappoint!! Everything was 12/10, from the drinks and pastries to the kind and helpful owners and staff. There is plenty of comfy seating, making this place perfect for studying, playing games, or just chatting. I highly recommend the knafeh (sweet and crispy pastry) or falafel pastry (will satisfy your middle eastern food cravings). The ambiance and seating is so colorful and cozy, and I would definitely come back if I was in the area again.

This unique cafe tucked away in the back of Bellevue, family owned. This gem offered unique coffee flavors you can't find elsewhere and surprisingly being timid of spices, it complimented the coffee perfectly, and wasn't too sweet either, and balanced to perfection. They offer a variety of food options and for pistachio lovers, this would be a great option for you.

easy to find street parking and in a nice location! i got the cardamom bun and an iced matcha latte with simple syrup. unfortunately both were a miss for me :( the matcha was quite milky and could've been a lot stronger. the bun was also quite dry, and it was still early in the day. overall cute café and nice ambience but could use some improvements. if i come back i would def try one of their lattes cause some of the flavors sound really fun.

Palestinian decor in the corner of the cafe

Highly recommend this family-owned Palestinian cafe! The Yemeni coffee they use is strong & the flavors all work well together. The matcha is dark & you can tell it's great quality. The pistachio croissant had pistachio cream inside & on top; it was the perfect sweetness level :) They also had homemade cookies from a local baker (not pictured but also so good!). Inside is very cozy & cutely decorated with Palestinian decor. The service was quick & the baristas are all so friendly and welcoming. There is on street parking all around it but there is also a parking garage right next door for convenience (not free).

The food and drinks were so delicious. I shared with some friends and my favorites were knafeh with dates and walnuts. And the drink I had was a hot ward latte with matcha and it was delicious. The owner is very kind. Not only did he guide us to a fitting table but also walked around and gave the customer free bites of baklava. I would totally come here again.

This is the Kanafa cream. It was so delicious that I got a few to go.

I was afraid that the thai tea would be sweetened already and the soft serve would only overly sweeten it but if anything, letting the soft serve melt into the thai tea was what gave the drink it's sweetness (along with the marshmallow-like foam). It was so GOOD! I thoroughly enjoyed this drink, especially on those rare warm sunny days we get here in Western Washington. Dare I say that I dream about this float! Parking ended up being a bit of a walk, which had me second-guessing the decision at first--but I'm glad I stuck with it. The moment I walked in, the space felt thoughtfully designed. The flow of the café is one of the best I've experienced--open, comfortable, and easy to navigate. As soon as the door opened, the barista greeted me right away. The counter is positioned close enough that you don't feel awkward hovering like in some cafés where the bar feels miles away. It immediately felt welcoming. I visited on a weekend during a slower period, but since the café sits right next to a college, I can imagine the line spilling out the door during peak hours. At quieter times though, the layout works well--there's enough space for a couple people to wait without crowding the entrance. I ordered a cortado and an almond croissant. The croissant came warmed, and the texture was spot on: fluffy, layered, and not overly greasy. The almond filling had a really nice balance--nutty with just enough sweetness and a hint of salt to round it out. I was told the pastries are made in-house, and it definitely shows. It tasted like something made with care. The cortado itself was solid--pretty classic, nothing overly fancy. One thoughtful touch I appreciated was that it came with sparkling water, which was great for cleansing the palate. The space itself is fairly spacious and works well if you want a quiet moment to sip your coffee. That said, most of the seating is high stools, so it doesn't really feel like the type of place to settle in and study for hours. Overall, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and quality of the food. The one thing that caught me off guard was the price of the croissant at $6.50. It tasted great and I understand prices in this area tend to run higher, especially for house-made pastries--but it's a bit outside what I'd usually spend. So while I definitely think it's good, it might not become a regular stop for me simply due to location and budget. Still, a great find and a pleasant surprise during a routine coffee run. There are 3 cafes I go to on the regular for my hojicha fix: Magic Matcha, Tendon Kohaku, and Bobae in Kirkland. While I enjoy all three, Magic Matcha is my favorite. The roasted tea flavor is strong, they allow me to adjust the sweetness level, and the flavor of the drink is always consistent. I've had issues with Tendon and Bobae either changing up the brand or the roast or adding too much milk on any given day. One of my gfs loves their horchata hojicha so there's that. I tasted it and it was objectively good. I wouldn't get it only because I'm not a huge fan of cinnamon, but if I were, it would be another go-to drink.

Realistically, my review is a high 3 stars, like a 3.7-3.9, and is mostly weighed down by the fact…read morethat the matcha latte was meh. Not awful, not I'll-never-drink-again-bad, but meh. I've been here twice, once a few years ago with my cousins, and another three days ago. The people working were attentive and quick with their service. The ambiance of the place is cute, a lot of pink and green, very instagram-worthy, and I saw a few people with friends or working on their laptop so it seems like a great place vibe-wise. To expand on my matcha critique, I found the color to be a little on the green-yellow side, which isn't the end all- be all quality indicator for matcha, but I find matcha lattes that are more rich in color tend to taste better and this tasted like a matcha drink I could make with costco matcha. I've made some decent lattes with costco matcha but once I switched to the more higher quality ones, well, it sorta refined my tastes. There isn't a lot of parking, and to be fair, a lot of people who are in downtown Bellevue are parked elsewhere else and likely just meander their way to the cafe. However, if you're coming in by car, I'd suggest parking by the apartments nearby, DO NOT park at the Chase Bank lot, even if the bank itself is closed (learned my lesson...). Overall, a 3.7-3.9. Could be better. Maybe with other additives like cold foam or strawberries, the drink is better, but I'm judging based off the basic latte.
