Finally visited Sconers this summer and as a fan of scones, I can't believe it took me so long. My friend and I each bought a half dozen and enjoyed one sitting down. They warm it up for you so it tastes extra delicious! My two favorites are the Earl grey and corn & onion. They are temporarily closed right now while they make some "exciting changes" but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on that reopening. read more

This is a very charming and pretty cafe! Before I flew into Seattle, I read about this place. From the pictures posted by others, this reminded me of Cafe Layered in Seoul. I was excited!! Came here on a Sunday, and this is indeed a very charming and relaxed cafe. It definitely reminded me of Cafe Layered in Seoul. SERVICE 5/5 Staff was very pleasant and polite. Drinks were made right. AMBIANCE 5/5 It was so pretty, perfect place for friends to catch up or hang out. It could be a adorable date spot as well. FOOD 5/5 I had the chocolate scone which was scrumptious. I nabbed clutch parking near Downtown Bellevue Park to visit here on a Friday around 5pm by myself, and man did it satisfy both my slight coffee addiction and sweet tooth! For this visit I got their matcha cafe latte and blueberry scone to dine in since I was waiting on a friend later that day. I didn't notice the ceremonial matcha layer below the matcha cafe latte until I looked closely and removed the coffee sleeve off the cup to take a closer look. The color of the matcha doesn't look ceremonial either but that's because the coffee dulled it, so thankfully everything sat in well. I just didn't wanna stir anything for fear of nullifying the matcha completely in their already strong coffee layer. The blueberry scone is warm with a thick bread layer and small blueberry bits inside and out. It's a mild sweet that matches the slight sweet from the scone outer layer itself. This was a quick yet great experience getting some stuff here! You almost feel like you're in an area that can serve afternoon tea, and you'd be just about right given they have a wide selection of scones that are laid out in front of the counter. Music here isn't too loud either, and you can easily do WFH with the handful of tables inside. I can only rate the food as my friend picked up the food for us. I know it's located in the old town area so street parking. We got the yuzu and the corn scones. They were both pretty good. The flavors were addicting because it grew on me and I kept nibbling at it. It was crispy outside but soft inside. Price was standard for the portion. Their scones are excellent and come in a variety of different flavors. I enjoyed the savory ones more than the sweets but both were great. Interior decor is beautiful and artsy. The space isn't very large but they made a good use of it with an area for dining in as well. The only thing is that the prices were very expensive. It's one of those bakeries that are worth visiting once. I most likely won't be returning here on my own. Dubai Pistachio Chewy was pretty good but definitely not worth the price they were charging. My friend and I wanted to check out Sconers since we're both fans of scones. I like that this place specializes in them - I don't think I know of any other cafes that do? and this cafe is super cute! We decided to try two sweet scones and two savory scones. Honestly, the scones were just okay? I think we liked the savory ones more than the sweet ones. But for the prices, $7.50 for one, they were small and not really worth it :/ I really wanted to like this place, just wish prices were more reasonable. I had never been to Sconers before, but my mom took me and it was such a cute spot! The shop has a really great, cozy vibe. You order your scones at the counter, and they also have beverages like coffee and tea--perfect pairings for scones. The person working the counter was also very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. There are lots of places to sit, and when we were there a few people were studying, which added to the relaxed café atmosphere. All the scones looked amazing, so it was hard to choose! We ended up getting a green onion and cheese scone, a bacon and cheese scone, a raspberry jam scone, and a bunch of lemon and dill scones. My mom wanted to try the milk cream scone, but they were out--though it was almost 5 pm, so that totally makes sense. Everything we got was so good! I especially loved the savory scones. I'd definitely come back and hang out here. Sconers would be a great place to meet a friend to catch up, study for a bit, or even take someone on a casual date. read more

I came by Sconers with a few friends for dessert after seeing it on social media, and was not disappointed! We tried a variety of their cream-filled scones: - Earl Grey - Double Chocolate - Milk Cream I loved how light and flavorful the cream was (Earl Grey was my favorite!), with the perfect amount of "not to sweet". We also took a few unique savory scones to-go for breakfast the next day, and they reheated pretty well in the toaster oven. The Lemon & Dill Scone was recommended by the staff, and it had such an interesting taste! Seating at this cafe is a bit limited though, with most tables set-up for two people. Parking in Historic Bellevue can also be a bit tough (usually only street parking or paid lots), so you may have to circle a few times before finding a spot. read more

I came in on a Saturday morning for brunch. The restaurant is very quaint and well decorated. There is a sign out front making it easy to find. We ordered the lemon dill (sweet) scone, the bacon cheddar (savory scone) and the milk cream scone. They all were SO GOOD. The scones were flaky,buttery and perfectly textured. The lemon dill was surprisingly sweet and the lemon flavor was on point. The milk cream was also great. It was fluffy and not too sweet but also held its own shape for travel/carryout. The space itself was very quaint and limited seating with 2 people tables placed close together. The service was busy but efficient and workers were kind and patient. Price is standard at about $10-15 per person (depending on food and drink preference). Parking is main street bellevue so can be a bit tricky. Overall, great scone place. This place is delightful. They have teddy bears everywhere which is adorable. It has eight tables with two chairs each so it's perfect for a couple or smaller group. I came here on a Saturday afternoon and was not disappointed. I had the cheddar and jalapeño scone which was light and delicious. I was only going to get one scone, but the first one was so delicious that I also got the raspberry jam scone. It wasn't too sweet which was a nice surprise. This scone was not as light as the first one. I would come back here and I would take people visiting here as well. Great spot for a friend date. Next time, I want to try the early gray crème scone. I don't think there's a scone-centric place in the Seattle area so this is a cool addition to the area. We decided not to get coffee since it didn't seem like they use house made syrups. We got the corn scone and the bacon and cheddar scone. They heated it up for us so it was perfectly warm! I liked both scones but I liked the bacon one more! I'd love to go back and check out their other scones since they have such a wide variety of flavors. It's a little crammed inside but there's enough tables if you'd like to eat your scones there. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was quick and easy. Actually found this place on accident whole going for a walk and popped in for a snack! These scones are pretty pricey for what you get honestly. But the flavor of the lemon dill was quite surprising and delicious. I like the crunchy exterior of the scones and the soft interior. Corn and onion: enjoyed the corn pieces inside and the corn on top, however this was pretty light in corn flavor as a whole bite. This one needed a bit of oomph as a savory flavor and more corn on top and maybe more caramelized onion on top would also be tasty Lemon dill: a sweet scone that's not too sweet. Loved this place! My friend and I came here and had many scones. I had one with jam and then the bacon jalapeno one. They were heated up which I think really added to the flavor. Both of mine were delicious. Ambiance was super cute inside. Not a ton of space but lots of seating for the space they do have. Recommend trying out the scones that get heated up! I think I had high expectations for this place, seeing that it replaced Coffeeholic and felt unique to this area - Korean-owned cafe with a focus on scones. Sconers is located on Main street, which is notorious for having filled street parking. I got lucky when I went on a late Thursday afternoon and found one spot right in front of the cafe. If it's a busy time, you might have to find street parking a couple to a few blocks away. When I walked in, I was greeted with such cute Christmas decor and I loved the aesthetics of the cafe. If you want to stay in a vibey and cozy cafe, this is the place. There are about 10 tables that hold 2 chairs/people each, so it's not a big place but cozy. I honestly didn't look at any menus and went straight in with the expectations that I'd walk out with a few scones. I was honestly surprised when I ordered 3 scones and was told that the total came out to $24. I definitely would not have ordered 3 if I had known it was $7.50 for each scone :/ I personally don't feel like the price is justified because they're not very big - but they are filled with cream. They were also fairly cold when I got them, so I'd recommend waiting until they're room temperature to eat them. I'm unfortunately impatient and learned the hard way (literally). I really wanted to like this place but the cost of each scone and the quality of the scones unfortunately lowered my score :( read more

Came here with a couple friends on a Sunday this place is super cute and cozy. Love it the decors. Remind me of cafés that was see in Asia, which are some of my favorite when it comes to an aesthetic café. However, I feel like the scones were a little lacking. We got three different ones to try such as the corn and onion, earl grey cream, and the blueberry scone. Our favorite was definitely the Earl Grey cream, but the other two were just super dry. Really enjoyed dropping by Sconers. Aesthetically pleasing, just as one Korean cafe should be. Cozy, warm, cute. Busy with trinkets yet, not overwhelming. We tried their warms scones, and their creamy dessert scones. Their warm scones were good.. but I wish they had asked if we would like it warmed. I bet it would have elevated the taste just that much more. The way they served it, it was more dry. But flavors were still unique and you could taste the distinct flavors. The major highlight was the creamy dessert scones. Because it was filled with creamy liquid, it kept the scones very nice and moist. Made it much more pleasant to eat than the savory ones. Also the cream was so delicious. We got the earl grey one, and both the scone and the cream was filled with earl grey flavor. What a beautiful scone. I had the vanilla latte, and my friend had the cold one topped with something. I really enjoyed my hot vanilla latte. Perfectly sweetened to acceptable Asian palette requirements. I came here on a Saturday morning with a friend and I ordered a Lemon & Dill scone and a London Fog. I ordered after my friend and they asked if I wanted my scone toasted and I said yes and then my friend also asked for her scone to be toasted - they didn't ask her when she had ordered. The London Fog was very hot but a bit on the sweet side. The Lemon & Dill scone was pretty tasty and I liked how flavorful it was without being dry. The fresh lemon was a nice touch. There was some seating inside but it was pretty full and the weather was nice so we decided to eat it at the park nearby. The price for the scone and drink was pretty steep. It was nice to try out but definitely more of a treat rather than a frequent purchase because of how costly it seemed. read more

This cute new cafe opened up on main street and is such a cozy vibe! The decor inside is adorable and there is a decent amount of seating, making it a perfect place for a coffee date. Saw this spot on social media and was excited to try it after the location replaced Coffeeholic. Our order came out to around $40. The interior is super cute and very Instagrammable. We ordered several items to try. Sconers cream top latte: acidic, thin, and honestly not good. I drank less than an inch and threw it away. Something is off with the coffee flavor. Basil bacon scone: I thought it was bad but my partner said it was manageable. It tasted more like a dry or stale biscuit. Blueberry scone: again, offputting taste. Dry, stale, powdery, and not a scone-like texture at all. Milk cream scone: the cream was the MVP. Mocha cream scone: strong mocha flavor and again the cream saved it. I would not visit again. I agree with another review that there are many improvements needed. Not worth the $40 and overall a disappointing visit. The second star is for the aesthetics. read more

Saw this place on instagram and had to come try the scones! The cafe is super cute and aesthetic. Not many tables to sit at. I went at 11am on a wednesday and all the tables were occupied. I took the scones to go and they were still super delicious. Love the variety of flavors including both sweet and savory. The coffee itself was not really my style. The beans they use have a much more acidic/sour note to it. The sconer cream top coffee doesnt have a flavor and is just a cream top coffee :) thought it might be their signature flavor but next time ill try another drink. read more

Super cute and cozy scone cafe I tried the chocolate cream, earl grey, corn onion, and basil bacon. My favorite was the chocolate cream as it wasn't overly sweet. The earl grey had a nice strong tea flavor. The corn onion was good but I was wanting a little bit flavor. The basil bacon was good but a little too basil forward for me, if you like basil, you will like this one. I really want to like this place more but I think some improvements could be made! Let's start with the positive: the interior is really cute! Definitely an instagram-able cafe. I love how they did their displays too. Their cream is the true highlight! Not too sweet and helps complement the scone. You can really taste the flavor of the earl grey. Their hot lattes are also not really sweet but you can still sense the flavor they're meant to convey. Truly perfect for the Asian palate. Though their cream top ice coffee was nice in flavor as well, probably most of the drink was ice so there really wasn't much coffee to it... However, I have to say for being called "Sconers" their scones would be the focus... but unfortunately might need a little work. Upon receiving the scones, I couldn't help but notice how brown they were. After seeing the displays too, maybe that's how they're supposed to look? Took a bite into the blueberry and it was quite dry... Should've guessed from the look of the scones. Tried to eat around the middle and the outside was all the same with that dry, sandy texture that needed something to drink after each bite. And when I got to the middle, I was unfortunately disappointed. The blueberry was all on the outside and it was dense and flavorless on the inside. I can see why the cream was needed. It doesn't mask the base of the scone but surely helps. Hoping this review serves more for encouragement on working on the scone base. Ambience and aesthetic is lovely, I think that's what you really visit here for. The food or drink is disappointing in contrast to the beautiful cafe and curated vibe. Blueberry scone was OK, but generally a bit bland unfortunately. Didn't crumble in the delicious way I would have liked. I'm a scone snob and imo it was giving more biscuit since it was on the tender/soft side and not as buttery as I would hope. Basil bacon scone was overpoweringly like ... fennel ? It did not taste much of bacon (tiny bits though i guess...) OR of basil. It tasted like a strong italian sausage (the kind with a ton of FENNEL seeds). Idk maybe I'm thinking of something else but it didn't taste as advertised and the texture was just mediocre. Do not get matcha here. They do not advertise to be a matcha place, and I should have recognized that before getting a matcha latte. Pretty bitter. Probably just the cheap mix from Costco i'm guessing. read more
