    Bakery case

The staff were great with helping answer questions and quickly and politely preparing orders. The line was really long even an hour before closing and they were sold out of many items. The inside has a few seating areas but there's more space outside. I think it was extra busy though due to the art festival outside. The bakery was quite good and I'd love to come back earlier to try more items another time!

I came back from Korea and really wanted to find some salt bread, and as it turns out, this relatively new bakery close by had some! I didn't know this was here, but I'm very excited it is, because their breads are delicious! I have tried a number of their breads (they also serve samples), but I think for salt bread texture the garlic butter one is closest to what I was looking for (requires an air fry reheat). The kimchi bacon tartine is also excellent and SO much kimchi. I gotta come back and try their egg tarts too some time! And they're right next to Don't Yell At Me so it's a nice combo. And a very short walk from the Bellevue bus terminal. Everything is great!!

The bakery is 5 star!! So many unique baked goods in addition to your usual stuff like croissants. They have cannels, there is a long line but it moves fast. It's a little on the expensive side we got 2 pastries for $20. It's the perfect place for brunch in the summer as there is plenty of outdoor seating outside the cafe and you can park at Bellevue towers. Definitely coming back again!

I tried new addition bakery in Bellevue. I parked the pay parking lot across from the bakery. Overall was new clean organized vibe. Staffs were friendly and when I had a question about the breads they answered right away. I tried samples here and there. And it was really good. I can't wait to visit the bakery again.

I got the rose honey latte and it was pretty good! Nice flavor and perfectly not-too-sweet. My husband got an iced americano which was decent as well. The only pastry I tried was the canele. It was very tasty, I would definitely recommend!

A pretty nice bakery located in Bellevue next to a couple of popular spots. They have a good selections of pastries, both sweet and savory. We ordered a good amount to try and were pleased with how they tasted. They also had some unique items that I haven't seen before. I liked that they have samples of some of their items for you to try as well.

I loved the purple rice bun, but didn't care for the chicken sausage sando cuz the sausage is dry. Filling for the Chocolate Egg Tart is good, but not mind-blowing. Most items range from $9-11, except for egg tarts that are $6.75 each (3 for $18). The line on a Friday isn't bad, I waited for only a few minutes to be helped. I'll come back to try some items with rose and get the purple rice bun again, if there is no line.

First time visit and everything was delicious! We ordered 3 different egg tarts, shiopan(Japanese salt butter roll), and a chocolate croissant -- all were so fresh and tasty. The rose honey latte was also great. One thing to know: they offer 2 hours of free parking validation if you park in the same building garage and bring your receipt. We didn't know and ended up paying $6 for nearby parking.

Was in downtown Bellevue recently, was taking public transit and cutting across from the transit center headed to the mall. Heard about this place but saw it as we were walking by. So we decided to stop and check it out and get something. Its not a big place, there are a few small tables and a bench to sit at, mainly people go outside and sit in the business courtyard. The selections they offer do look good in the display case. A lot of stuff I never really heard of or seen before. All looked pretty darn good. We decided to share something as we were just stopping by to try something. We got an iced coffee and the pistachio egg tart. Egg tart was good, flaky, not too sweet, pistachio flavor was there and the custard was good too. Prices are on the higher side, quality seemed good & tasty, staff was fine with us. Definitely some items I saw that I would want to try next time.

Another social media hyped place that's overpriced... There was a long line when we walked in. Ordered rose bagel (most popular item) and rose maritozzo for almost 20 dollars. I meant it wasn't bad but i don't see the hype. There was nothing special about it. It just looked pretty! Lol. And i guess the bagel was more chewy side. Apparently they do validate parking, i didn't know this before I parked at another building which was no problem. But I am not sure If i would come back for this.

The egg tarts and shio pan were highlights. The tarts were the perfect mix of flaky crust and custard filling. The sourdough tart had a slight tangy flavor and the shio pan was so soft on the inside with a buttery crispy exterior. Looking forward to trying the pistachio tart. While the prices were a bit high, I think the quality and taste are worth it. The sourdough bread was a little disappointing. There were some air holes, but not very much sour flavor. The line moved pretty quickly. It was a little hard to see everything and decide on the spot when the server first asked, but after the front moved, the choices were more visible. The samples were a nice touch to try some of their interesting items like the brionut. There is very limited seating inside but right outside is a shared outdoor seating area. Would recommend eating outside when the weather is nice.

Be Alive (breads) Food: Excellent pastries and single cakes. Asian level of sweetness. Beautiful presentation. My favorite for moistness, texture and flavor. * purple rice bread. * berry rose bread Eating some of the items are not convenient (sticky exterior, or toppings fall, or inside cream oozes out). Ambiance - lovely. Service- lovely folks, excessive packaging, lines are slow when you have so many customers and packaging takes time. Value- expensive (for quality and location). They do have a reward system that takes the edge off. Parking- garage with validation or street parking. Recommend- worth trying! :)

I really liked this place. I went once when they were still very new and they were sold out of everything. I went again today and they were seemingly fully stocked. I really enjoyed the rose bagel and salt bread, got three of the egg tarts but haven't had them yet. The prices are pretty high but it seems good quality. I noticed a lot of bad reviews about filling being less than before so hopefully they don't continue to do so. I really liked the warm vibe and it smelled nice inside. The guy behind the counter that helped me was also very friendly and gave suggestions. Cashier wasn't as friendly and didn't smile but the service of the first guy made up for it. It is a little confusing if you get a lot that you're supposed to take your tray when they're done. Make sure to get your parking validated also. Will be back!

Due to all the options (2-D prints, 2-D plus decorations on a cake, full 3-D sculpted cakes), it took a while to finalize the design, but their online gallery of cakes is basically a portfolio, and our cake was another successful entry. Just make sure you leave some buffer time beyond the listed two weeks if you haven't already finalized the design and flavor profile. We chose a 2-D plus decorated cake. There's a bit more icing in the decorations themselves, but they are edible and pretty delicious by themselves (we liked the meringue and crispy rice cereal structures). More importantly, the flavor of the not too sweet layered cake came out beautifully. Through their recommendation for what paired with ube cream, we got a vanilla cake + ube cream with a coulis of passion fruit and mango. Probably not the easiest flavors to combine, but it was done incredibly, with the right accent of fresh fruit flavor. The cake, without the extra decorations, was also quite tall (6 inches maybe), to the point that we had to cut thinner slices than expected. Now the only question is what design the next cake should be (we've somewhat decided the next flavor to try with saffron cream).

My top picks are the new milk tea flavor and ham & cheese! The milk tea salt bread has a subtle, well-balanced sweet milk tea aroma, not overly sugary. Ham & cheese was such a pleasant surprise. It reminds me of a hot dog, but wrapped in the uniquely chewy, lightly salty salt bread crust -- such a fun combo of savory ham and melty cheese. You've got great options for both sweet and savory lovers. Savory: ham cheese, pork floss Sweet: taro, milk tea, chocolate, pistachio The bread texture is perfect: chewy, soft with that signature slight saltiness on the exterior. First impressions: the space is genuinely charming. Everything is thoughtfully presented--very dreamy, almost cloud‑like in aesthetic. You want to love it before you even take a bite. The fruit cakes were pleasant, but this is where personal preference really matters. For me, I always lean toward more fruit, less cream. While the whipped cream feels light at first, after a few bites it starts to feel heavy and a bit greasy on the palate--pretty, but not especially restrained. The black sesame cake was the most interesting--and the most polarizing. The first bite was a true wow: deep, nutty, and indulgent. But as I worked through it, the texture became confusing. There were jelly‑like cubes mixed in that broke up the experience in a way I couldn't quite reconcile. I love black sesame, but this particular execution wasn't entirely my thing. The standout, without question, was the croissant. It's excellent--beautifully laminated, crisp where it should be, tender where it counts. I completely understand why they've earned awards here. I only wished there were a savory vegetarian option to explore the full range of what they can do. As for the coffee: visually, it's spot‑on. Flavor-wise, it misses the mark. Pouring caramel over the top without integrating it into the pulled shots means it sinks straight to the bottom. The result is an unbalanced experience--mild up top, an overwhelming sugar bomb at the end. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it. All that said, it was genuinely fun to try, and it's the kind of place I'd revisit out of curiosity--especially to see what shows up seasonally. I'd absolutely be intrigued by something like a passionfruit offering.
