The mango drinks were incredibly refreshing and perfect for the hot weather. They had a fresh mango flavor without being overly sweet, which made them really enjoyable and easy to drink. Everything tasted light, fruity, and well balanced. Definitely a great spot to cool down with dessert and drinks on a warm day

We arrived at 4pm which was good because they are closed from 3:30-4pm for a short break. Ordered the jumbo mango sago for my partner and I and got a fair amount (depicted below). Order came fairly quickly and was very tasty! Seating is decent at the store and it overall is pretty cleanly. Would come again (it's a good thing for my blood sugar it's not near my residence)

Not sure why she canceled this order. Had to go to the store and reorder and wait because kid what to eat this. Not busy time, no one is waiting there. She used her hand to order, pull hair, handle fruit and pick fruit. Last time being there.

I came on a sunday around 3pm and there was no line. My drink also came out in less than 5 minutes! The shop is not that big, but since it wasn't too busy, I didn't mind. It was also well decorated. I got the coconut mango sago and it was very nice and refreshing. It wasn't too sweet either.

Came here for dessert after lunch, and it hit the spot! We got the mango crystal jelly dessert. It's a cold dessert with icy mango puree, mango chunks, clear jelly, mango coconut ice cream. Very delicious! Would love to come back. Happy eating!

Food - healthy desserts that actually taste good. I guess I dunno how healthy but I think they use real fruit at least. Got a coconut mango sago & tried my husband's watermelon swirl. Watermelon not that sweet prob cuz it's real fruit. Mango was suuuper sweet. Also lots of sago maybe like 1/3 of my drink. So I kinda had to chew my drink. Next time I'll ask for less sago. Service - quick and friendly. Ambiance - more of a togo kinda place. Only a few seats inside. But there's a shared public outdoor seating area. Perfect for summer nights.

If you love mango, then Hui Lau Shan must be on your list. The place whips up delicious mango desserts and is a treat to eat them. The place is quite tiny and doesn't have too much seating. The service is pretty quick though. Highly recommend the mango crystal jelly, it's delicious. I'm quite a regular here, love their desserts!

We had to stop by this place as it was across the street of the restaurant we had lunch at. This place has lots of mango based desserts and drinks. I had the pomelo mango with sago drink and a black sesame pudding to go. The drink was excellent and not too sweet. The black sesame dessert was rich. There are some other items that i would like to try next time.

I love this place so much, and not just because I like mangoes! This is probably the 3rd Hui Lau Shan I've been to in this state, but several times in this specific one before writing a review for this specific location. I got here with a friend on a Sunday night and used street parking nearby, which was rough to find. You won't find much seating inside the place either; there's several tables that seat bigger groups and a couple that seat a max of two people. The rest of the space is the kitchen where the desserts are prepared and, like its other location at Bel-Red, there's a ton of big boxes of fresh mangoes nearby and the scent of mangoes hits you pretty hard. For this visit, I shared the mango romance with my friend, then got a mango coconut with sago for myself. The mango coconut with sago was in quite a big cup, and I loved how sweet and refreshing it was! The mango romance is pretty delicious too; you have mango bits, mango ice cream, mango slush, chewy balls and even a mango mochi that's best shared in small bites though I ironically wasn't a fan of the coconut flakes on top of the mango mochi. You can't get these kinds of mango desserts anywhere else, so I highly recommend giving here and its other location a try if you love mangoes!

We came here after a meal. We are here for a mango dessert. You will notice they do not use powder or any form except fresh mangoes. You will see lots of boxes of champagne mangoes and this is the good one. It's in season. We ordered mango coconut jelly and mango, sago and tapioca drink. The coconut jelly was in a real coconut shell filled to the rim with real coconut , mangoes and rice balls. It was delicious! The mango drink was also delicious! Service was fast despite having a line. People are friendly and assured us fast, The place had lots of parking. The place was clean, nicely decorated and packed with people. Will definitely come back and enjoy more mango desserts.

Parking in the garage was convenient, free for one hour, and the shop was easy to find. The variety of items on the menu is pretty large. When you walk in, they don't have a visual menu on the wall behind the counter. You have to open a paper menu to pick out what you want. It is also nice that you can order online for pick up as well. I love that they also offer durian flavored desserts! I got the mango mochi as well as the mango coconut sago drink. Both were delicious and I look forward to coming back!

This is a very small shop with limited seating but the garage has one hour free parking. Definitely not as good as I remembered; mango pudding lacked flavor and was a much more firm than I would like and there is barely any chunks of mangoes inside The mango pomelo sago has a lot of "fillers", there is some kind of sorbet and I think mango pudding or jello there. There is barely any mangoes inside We ordered the pudding and sago to dine in and placed another (separate) order for a friend. After 30 mins of slowly eating our order still wasn't ready so we finally asked them and it turns out she forgot about it the cashier is hardworking but she is the only one taking orders/ payments and making the desserts....

I don't need a chef wildly experimenting with my siu mai, or dabbling with my baked hom bow. My analysis of Sun Sui Wah, very nice interior, ok service, solid food. Was it a few dollars more than similar fare in Seattle, yes. But I also didn't have to drive to Seattle, not to mention put up with the street spectacle that now exists in the International District. It gets 5 stars because it delivers as promised.

Service : nonexistent Food: 9/10…read morePrice: standard but not worth for the horrible service. We spent about $600 for a party of 9. Would rather go to Diamond Bay, Tasty Szechuan, Royal Kitchen, (can see why they're busy and packed on a holiday weekday night and Sun Sui Wah is not) Went here for dinner for my grandma's 89th birthday with a party of 9 at 7pm. We ordered dishes typical of a 10 course meal including crab, Peking duck, live fish, rice, noodles, veggies, seafood, etc. The food was really good and didn't take too long to come out. Everything tasted good and we were all enjoying the family meal together and that's why I am giving 1 star because we will not be coming back. The service was absolutely horrible; ruined our dinner and wasted an extra 1-1.5hr of everybody's time. There was only 2 other tables in the restaurant and the servers started having dinner together at a table instead of working. I would understand if we were high maintenance customers or were giving them attitude but we did not. My cousin and I have both been FOH and BOH staff so we try to be understanding and patient when it comes to service especially coming from a Chinese background too. However, we asked for water several times, they never refilled anyone's water or the tea even once at this point it was end of dinner and 5 out of the 6 of us had completely empty glasses for about 30 minutes. We finally got water when we signaled to the Busser and he went to tell the same server again. We finished eating and decided to pay first so my grandma wouldn't try to pay. We tipped 18% off the bill since we were a large party and I wasn't about to punish all the workers for some water but what happened after made everything much worse. We asked for togo boxes and the server lady just dropped them off stared at our table and left. I was already wondering why she was seeming to be upset but seems like we were interrupting their dinner because 3 or 4 chinese servers were eating together at the table at the front when my sister's boyfriend went to pay. (That's why we didnt have water) I don't mind the workers needing to eat because I have been in their shoes before but please provide some service if you still have customers inside the restaurant waving at you. We wanted to leave just as much as they probabaly wanted to close at 10 pm(it was around 830ish now) We noticed that the cake they had been holding for us in the fridge was just sitting at another table in the restaurant. They saw us go grab it ourselves. We packed all the leftovers and started putting our dirty dishes and stuff onto the table because the workers were doing nothing. They saw that we were done but didn't want to stop their 8:30pm dinner I guess. Finally we asked them to bring us plates and clear the table. I have never had to ask the Chinese servers at any restaurant to clear the table before dessert, normally they do it for you, especially after you just tipped them almost $100 lol. The Chinese servers sent the bus boy to clear our table and guess what returned to their dinner! We again asked them for plates for the cake. It took so long to the point my sister missed picking up her prescription at 9pm. Not sure if the dim sum service is better but I'm pretty sure those 5 star service reviews are from the chinese servers' friends and/or family. Or the servers are taught to do nothing besides get the order and drop it off. Unfortunaly we will not be spending money at this establishment again because of the service and will be telling our family and friends in Issaquah and Bellevue to choose better places for sit down family meals. Hope others enjoy their meals because the food is still good

ROYAL KITCHEN @ BELLEVUE (crossroads)…read more Parking is pretty tight here, especially on the weekends when it gets super busy. Luckily, we were able to find a spot right out front, so I'd recommend slowly circling around and keeping an eye out for people leaving. I found this spot through Yelp and had been really craving good Chinese food, so I was super excited to finally try it. My family and I came without a reservation and were seated immediately, even though the restaurant was very busy. This place is definitely known for larger parties, there were lots of families and extended families dining together, which really gave it a classic family-style vibe. You order a bunch of dishes and share a little bit of everything, which I love. The staff were really friendly and greeted us right away with complimentary tea. Fun fact: in the mornings, tea is sometimes an extra charge, but in the evening it's free. We ordered a few dishes, including the honey walnut shrimp (which is my go-to order at any Asian restaurant), salt and pepper squid, house special vermicelli noodles, and Chinese broccoli. The vermicelli was a clear noodle dish loaded with different proteins like BBQ pork, squid, and shrimp. Everything had great flavor, but my absolute favorite was definitely the honey walnut shrimp. It was perfectly crispy and delicious. My only complaint is the portion size for the price, it was about $21 for roughly 10 pieces of shrimp, which felt pretty expensive. Overall, the portions were on the smaller side for what you're paying. Toward the end of the meal, they treated us to a complimentary papaya soup, which was a light, fruit-based dessert soup and a really nice way to finish. Our total came out to about $80, so it's definitely on the pricier side for Chinese food. That said, the food was delicious, the service was great, and if you're in the Bellevue area, I'd still recommend stopping by.

CHECK your bill here!!!!!!!!…read more We took our daughters from out of town for Sunday dim sum. Longtime family tradition!! And while we have often gone to the CID In Seattle, for many years and almost exclusively in recent years we have gone here and the previous business at the same location. I highly recommend this place and in my opinion the staff is usually always fantastic and they bring the food fast!! Today the service and food was fantastic and ordered so much it almost didn't fit on a 4 top table. We love leftover dim sum! But at the end of the meal they brought me the completed card with a total at the bottom. Didn't look beyond the total before tip and just gave the nice (very young) hostess my card. A server brought back just the two credit card slips and the price was seemingly $20 more than what was presented to me on the service card!?? I politely asked to see the bill again and then a longhgggh wait...... Then a heavily altered card was brought back showing the new total. I was not happy suddenly and asked why it was altered from the first one etc and a big argument from the server began that I didn't proliferate but she kept on and on and could not explain why all the changes by pen and saying that she was honest etc. insisting we "do the math" over and over Now we may have ordered that much food, but I know for a fact that the bill was clean written without alterations and $20 less than the corrected one. But still she couldn't give me a valid explanation for the changes and new total. In my opinion the high school age hostess made a mistake adding up before presenting the total to me and someone else edited it before running my card. If they had just admitted that I would not have been so disappointed. I don't believe that the staff here are dishonest and understand about mistakes but they did not handle it very diplomatically and it was a scene I didn't want to make. But I know that this was not the total presented to me for payment! Take a pic of your service card before sending the credit card to be run!!! It absolutely ruined our family outing and everyone was quiet in the car ride home. Not cool!!
