Orange Chef Special Dinner for 2
    Jojo L.

Since I was craving rice, my friend brought me to a Chinese restaraunt called @best_wok , and the food was authentic and comforting! We got the Chef Special Dinner for Two, which consisted of egg flower and won ton soup, barbecue pork, orange chicken, kung pao beef and fried rice all for $60! The staff were incredibly friendly and sweet as we talked story and exchanged laughters talking about the Zero purse I was wearing and how our servers daughter loved The Nightmare Before Christmas Disney movie, too! They were especially appreciative of us trying to speak to them in their dialect (Mandarin). The interior of the restaraunt felt very homey, and they also had a cute fish tank display where we ate at! The only thing I could note was that I wish the soup portions were a bit larger.

This is still good. But not as good as before. The taste has declined. In the cashew chicken, the chicken was lower in the proportion compared to the rice. The staff is still nice and so is the inter.

Very well made! Standard Chinese food fare and everything I've had was cooked and seasoned well. Fresh and hot. Get your favorite go-to items or try something new, it'll all be well-made! Try shrimp toast if you've never had it.

We were told this restaurant has really good food. Let me tell you this place didn't disappoint AT ALL! The service was excellent & the food omg it was delicious! We have another good restaurant in our rotation.

Kung Pao Chicken and Fried Rice with Beef so delicious

This is what I've been looking for!!! I am so picky about my Chinese food. My favorite place as a kid in Las Vegas closed many years ago and I have never found anywhere that tastes the same anywhere I've lived. I love my kung pao chicken with no veggies just peanuts and chicken. Best Wok delivered the nostalgia of good homemade Chinese food I have been missing for many years. The restaurant even gave me that same feeling before I got my food. I drove past here a few times when I take a back way home from work in Kirkland and I'm so glad I finally ordered. The man working was so friendly and thorough and these portions are huge. I ordered via Yelp for pick up. I am now the biggest Best Wok fan and I can't wait to come back and bring friends and family. I would like to try their sweet and sour chicken next, please try them out and support small business.

Large menu with American-Chinese classics, executed well, but having inconsistent portion sizes with high prices. There are A LOT of authentic Chinese restaurants in Bel-Red for the large Asian population that lives in the area. Sometimes, you just want to eat comfort food, Americanized Chinese food that you can find all across the country and chains like Panda Express have made standards. My wife really wanted a good egg drop soup on this cold Seattle day, so my daughter suggested Best Wok as a good choice, ordering carry-out for the four of us. The two locals amongst us had eaten before (both dine-in and carry-out), and were really happy with the dine-in experience (good service, large portions, great taste). There is a slight discount for cash, and the order was ready within 10 minutes of placing our order; it was still hot by the time we got back to the apartment. White rice was separate, so she skipped that since she had rice back at home. Everything tasted good. The large egg flower soup ($12 was excellent, it looked like it would be too gelatinous, but it wasn't...and the sweet corn was a great add. The Dragon and Phoenix ($30) was OK, consisting of a half portion of sauteed seafood (in white sauce) and a half portion of General Tao Chicken. For the price, it was disappointing: small amount of medium size shrimp, not much scallops. The General Tao chicken used freshly breaded white chicken and the sauce was good. The Pan Fried Noodles ($20) was a good size, with a large quantity of chow mein given (this is what actually gave our entire meal heft and allowed us not to be hungry after finishing everything). Zucchini was very prevalent in the dishes, being used as the filler vegetable. Would strongly recommend eating in, if possible, since it sounds like they do a better job of matching the portions and sizes with the pricing.

Sweet & Sweet And Sour Pork lunch special. Soup, entree, spring roll, rice for $18.

Met a friend here while in town for a visit and realized I had eaten here decades ago! Impressed it was still around and doing great business. I chose the sweet & sour lunch special which includes entree, soup, choice of rice and spring roll for $18. I wanted wonton soup which was a $1.50 upgrade and it came with two wontons and very good. Our meals came out quick, hot & delicious but service for drink refills was slow. Plenty of parking, friendly staff, easy location and clean bathrooms.

Also ordered the sweet & sour chicken with fried rice and it was legit delicious. No complaints, just solid comfort food done right. Service was great -- shoutout to Kacey for taking care of us (and hooking it up with to-go cups for our sodas, which was a nice touch). The vibe was chill too -- clean space, relaxing piano music in the background, nothing chaotic. Even the fortune cookie was good, which honestly feels rare these days. The guy next to us ordered the garlic lobster and I'm still thinking about it... looked . Just don't order the coleslaw, its not your traditional coleslaw but instead lettuce with creamy sauce. We decided to go with Combo 6 and splurged by adding king crab for an additional $90. We chose the butter garlic sauce and ordered a side of hot sauce, both of which were delicious! Our waitress was incredibly attentive and seemed to anticipate exactly what we needed, bringing out napkins, extra limes, and tools before we even had to ask. Everything was served quickly, which was perfect since we arrived with empty stomachs. The restaurant itself is quite spacious, and there is plenty of parking since it is located in a shared complex with other stores. It's nice that Crawfish Chef is fairly close to where I live. My party of 5 came here at 1:45pm on a Sunday. Parking was plentiful at this time in the strip mall. I was surprised at how many people were there considering it was just past lunchtime, but we were able to get seated immediately. The menu has the usual Viet-Cajun flare, where you want to eat seafood boil or items cooked from the kitchen. I noticed that there was the option to order headless shrimp for those of you who are squeamish about shrimp heada. I ordered a pound of head-on shrimp with added corn tossed in House Sauce at Medium Spicy. The shrimp had nice texture, the corn was sweet and the sauce was pretty decent. We were provided gloves which was very nice. The server was very attentive and refilled my drink when she saw it was getting low. Overall, we had a nice experience and thought this place was pretty solid. If I had one suggestion it would be to have a stock of wet naps considering that this is the type of establishment where you eat with your hands and there is no sink outside of the bathroom.

I had a 7pm reservation, but when we arrived and I double-checked my booking on Yelp, it had somehow been changed to 10pm with no notice. There was no way we could wait three hours, so I called the restaurant to cancel. The manager answered and said this kind of issue never happens and that it was likely either a Yelp glitch or a scheduling mistake on their end. He told us to still come in, which I appreciated, and they were able to honor our original 7pm reservation. Once we were seated at the hibachi table, it was a very busy Friday night, so we ended up waiting about an hour for the chef to start. They did provide us with gyoza while we waited, which was a nice gesture. As for the food, I ordered the hibachi special, and it was good overall. I'm a sucker for some Yum Yum sauce, the meat quality was good as well. Our habachi chef can whip up a mean fried rice. The experience itself just felt a bit disorganized, which was disappointing for a special occasion. Not terrible, just not what I expected for an anniversary dinner.
