Small hole-in-the-wall no frills spot, but hits the spot for sure. Tasty teriyaki. A touch pricey but would definitely return. A kind gentleman (and perhaps his son) ran the store when we came in and both were very nice. I love that they gave salad without the dressing so I could dress it myself since a lot of places overdress the salads. The rice was in a cute football shape. Teriyaki was nicely charred but still juicy and saucy. Beef was standard, not the best cut but still delicious.

Pretty classic seattle teriyaki place. We liked the food and the pickup was super quick. Located near the QFC with lots of parking spots. We both really like the egg roll and katsu!

I ordered teriyaki chicken with no salad all rice. Chicken is super good and was not covered with sauce. I had already had some before the photo was taken so not full portion. I was impressed with how fast it came out even though I was one of the only costumers. Plenty of seating and clean and nice dining area. I would come again.

Staff (Mike) was friendly, food was excellent and service was fast! We are definitely coming back. We had Vegetarian Yakisoba, Chicken & Beef Teriyaki, Gyoza plate and Chicken & Shrimp Teriyaki!

Very large portions and quick service! I called for a to-go order and my order was ready in 10 min. Ordered the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki, Chicken Yakisoba, and Taro Smoothie with Coconut Jelly. The flavors were good and I liked how my Yakisoba didn't take too oily. I will get 3 meals from my Yakisoba portions!

I've been going to Tokyo Stop Teriyaki for the past 11 years on and off. When I lived in Bellevue I used to go weekly just for the Mongolian Chicken. I'm not a huge fan of teriyaki in general so I stuck to the wok dish means and gyoza, all of which I love! Their Mongolian beef/chicken dishes are a little different than what you may be used to with some thin slices of carrot. They have the white onion and green onion, though I wish the green onion was a little more firm and crisp just because I like it that way. Someone else did mention their rice being amazing and for some reason I love their white rice and find myself finishing it every time unlike other places. It's not too dry and not too moist but just right. I understand this place may not be for everyone but I would recommend you give it a try! They've been around for so long so they must be doing something right. They USED to have a punch card for a free teriyaki meal every 12th meal or something, I doubt they still do it but it was a nice perk. (: their salad always taste great and super crisp! Just drop the dressing into the to-go container and give it a shake.

Stumbled upon this teriyaki spot on accident while grabbing sandwiches next door (yes, food is my addiction) I knew Seattle teriyaki was a must on our trip but was not expecting it to be our first meal when we touched down in SEA. But wow this really hit the spot. The gyoza was super crispy, the marinade was the perfect amount of salty/sweet, and the portions are generous.

Best teriyaki chicken... Egg rolls were great also. Fast takeout. Lots of different combos to go. The spicy chicken is also good.

From the moment I stepped inside to the decor and service to the taste and quality of food, I was impressed the entire night. Most bbq places are laid back and loud, but this place is refined, sophisticated, and everything you'd want for a date night or celebration. Starting off with service, everyone we spoke with was lovely and inviting. We felt welcomed and our server kept checking on us, but wasn't too invasive, so we were able to catch up. We were greeted with hand towels and 3 options for water. Cutlery and tableware were nicely set up and I'm obsessed with their plates! I was blown away by all of the dishes we ordered but my favorites were definitely the Uni Toast, Wagyu Volcano, and honestly all the meats we ordered to grill. They grill your meats for you, so it is a bit awkward because the person stands there until everything is done, but it's cooked to perfection! Highly recommend for a nice date night or celebration dinner.

We started with a wagyu toast and the meat just melted in your mouth. We also had alaska king crab with A5. Kind of a surf and turf nigiri. The uni toast was a little too much toast but it was a generous amount of uni. The Rubik's cube was a literal cube of meat. They cook it to perfection in front of you. Lots of sauces and sides to try. Everything was very good. It's amazing how different each cut of meat tastes. I loved the silky egg yolk in the volcano. They offer bottle service as well as drinks and their drinks were excellent. Would definitely go back!

Super fairly priced at around $19 for the chirashi and $16.50 for the aburi sake don aka seared salmon. We found a seat and they brought the food out to us in under 10 minutes. By this point, the restaurant is filling up with customers so they get quite busy! It's a small space so I imagine they get a lot of take out orders as well. Food was delirious, my seared salmon was super fresh, I'd not a little on the thin side. It paired well with the fresh wasabi. My friend said her chirashi bowl was delicious as well, though the tuna was lean and she preferred the fatty tuna. When you finish your meal, just bus your own tray and you're good to go. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area!

Although it was pretty busy inside, we were able to be seated in about 10 minutes, which was great for a last minute decision for Shabu Shabu. I haven't done many Shabu Shabu places, but this one is a bit different since you get a set of vegetables and meat rather than ordering multiple rounds. The quality of the meat and vegetables, in my opinion, was much higher compared to those places where you're able to get multiple rounds of meat or select your own vegetables/sides. The broth (I had kombu) was pretty light, so it wasn't the best. The service was pretty friendly and the only fault to them was they didn't come around to refill our pots with hot water. I enjoyed dinner here and would definitely come back again. The quality of the food, the calm restaurant atmosphere, and the polite staff made it an enjoyable experience.

It's a very cute Japanese restaurant, with very patient staff who answered all our questions. (Thank you for doing that). Tha takoyaki was pretty good but if it memory serves I believe it was over $10. It wasn't too mushy and it was well-flavored. The salad was worth its price. It was very small. The dressing was pretty good, not too overpowering of sesame. The crunchy tuna rice was really good (I really like crunchy rice) but it felt over priced. This could honestly be made at home. The shabu shabu was very impressive. I got the sukiyaki shabu shabu, which I think had the most flavor out of the ones my family got (spicy miso and original). The ponzu and nut sauce that comes with the dish is delicious as always, and the meat was really fun to cook. If you don't know, it is called "Shabu shabu" because you swipe the meat back and forth and by the time u finish talking it's cooked! We got the Americans wagyu, beef, park belly, and pork. Everything was well made, fresh, and beautifully presented (the pork belly had a rose made out of meat!) Overall it was good. It's a fun experience. And hot pot type meals are usually expensive, but nothing quite tops MalaTang.

I don't remember what I ate at the time but I do remember Kizuki having pretty salty ramen, and that still holds up today. I know there is an option to order low sodium and/or order a clear broth to dilute it, but I completely forgot. I got the garlic tonkotsu ramen and it was super good! I can see why it's super popular. I will say I wasn't a fan of the jasmine milk tea, it was way too sweet while simultaneously too milky- otherwise everything was fine. The waiters were polite and lenient with my preferences and gave excellent service, no complaints there. I came in on a Tuesday or Wednesday at 2:00 ish by myself, so it wasn't crowded. I can't say for weekends but judging by other reviews the waitlist can take a while (not sure if it's different if you come on a weekend but by yourself). There were some people there hanging out over ramen and some people working on their laptops, so it was the perfect environment to get work done (not sure if wifi is free though) and/or chat with friends without having to raise your voice.
