    DELICIOUS Panang Curry
    Adrienne D.

First of all, this is a very cute quaint little place. Very clean. The furnishings are very classy. The girl who waited on us was just lovely! All of the dishes were great and we tried like six entrees family style! The pad Thai was delicious! The Panang curry spot on! Not too spicy. The lemon ginger tea was fabulous! And they make STICKY RICE!! Very few Thai places do that any more!! My favorite! To be 100% honest The chicken was a little bit dry. But seriously, if I lived here this would be a regular spot!!

I love Thai Food. I visited Thai VP at the recommendation of a friend, and my lunch was delicious. I can see why the Kapow Gai with Fried Egg is popular. The flavors of garlic, onion, chopped green beans, and bell pepper were outstanding. The iced Thai coffee was plentiful, tasty, and refreshing. The service was outstanding. Kham was friendly and gave good advice. She is also liked by the friend who recommended me to the restaurant. She allowed me to take a picture of her for my friend. Ambiance? Comfortable, clean, and inviting. I recommend Thai VP Restaurant for excellent Thai food at a reasonable price.

    Pad Thai with tofu

We enjoyed another delicious dinner at Thai VP. I'm so happy their food is just as good as it always has been. I ordered Pad Thai with tofu and Hubs ordered Pad See Ew. The portions were nice-sized & the food was very tasty (tho the Pad Thai noodles could have been cooked a little bit longer). We'll definitely be back.

    #18. Pad Thai with prawns

I order the #18. Pad Thai many times. I like it with chicken or prawns. My coworker orders the Tofu. Portions are plentiful. Very friendly staff. Owner, she is very outgoing. Located in crossroads. Small strip mall behind crossroads mall.

It was an utter disappointment! The quantity was super low for the price. We were super hungry and were looking for Thai places close by. It was almost empty when we went there. We weren't sure if they serve us or we'd have go to the counter and order We ordered the VP fried rice, thai ginger. The quantity was so less. It tasted decent but not like something that I would go back and eat again Overall not worth the price. I wouldn't personally recommend this to anyone

Excellent food and staff with very reasonable prices too. I go to Bangkok often and this food is authentic ! Simple restaurant but nice and clean relaxed atmosphere. Definitely good choice for quick lunch combo or uber eats!

Came here for lunch on a weekday, and we were seated quickly and the staff was very attentive. They have great lunch specials that come with both a side of Pad Thai and rice, which is great for those who like to try a bit of everything. I ordered the lemongrass chicken entree which I didn't quite like the flavor of and wish I ordered a lunch special like my friends did. I'd come back again but try something else next time!

Devil Lamb Curry, added broccoli, Chinese mushrooms, bell peppers at home, served over brown rice

This is more of a 4.5 stars review. Thai VP is located in the strip mall restaurants area that is behind/east of Crossroads Mall. It's my first visit and take-out order from them. All 5 dishes were a hit. When I see delicious and plentiful sauces, I always try to take advantage of it by adding more veggies at home. This was the case for all 4 of the main dishes. I never modify the sauce itself, just more ingredients to absorb that flavorful goodness. Two of my photos are the "originals". The next four is as-served after modifications at home. All the dishes turned out super good and extra, extra plentiful. Some became two meals. The Food: Summer Eggplant with Soft Tofu - 5 Stars I ordered this as a 5 stars spicy and added broccoli, Chinese mushrooms, bell peppers at home. I sizzled the mushrooms first in the sauce, added the veggies, then warmed the rest in the same pan. It was perfection in now a two-days serving. Pumpkin Curry with Chicken - 4.5 Stars Added broccoli, Chinese mushrooms at home and served over brown rice. The sauce is deliciously plentiful and adding the veggies really took advantage of this dish. This is a more unique Thai dish, less common elsewhere. Devil Lamb Curry - 4.5 Stars Added broccoli, Chinese mushrooms, bell peppers at home and served over brown rice. This is also a unique one amongst Thai restaurants. The taste was good too. The ingredients were a bit light, primarily a few pieces of potatoes so added the veggies was a great idea. When re-heating, I kept the lamb out till the last two min, then stirred them in to warm. Curry Seafood - 4 Stars Added Chinese mushrooms, bell peppers, and brown rice at home. I order this as 5 Stars spicy. Adding the rice directly into the sauce made every bite super flavorful. The seafood is fairly light, 2 prawns, 2 halves of a scallop, 1 piece of squid, and 1 green mussel. Next time, I'll add a touch more seafood too. Mango Sweet Sticky Rice - 4 Stars This was very good for flavor profile. I thought the sauce was a bit light/runny. I like it a tad thicker to stick to the rice better.

    60. Yellow Curry with Rice
    Becky C.

Very small portion size. After a long day of work, I was tired and didn't want to cook. So I ordered Yellow Curry with Rice.. it was a mistake. The portion size was sooo small that I needed to cook ramen after eating it. And I just cannot justify paying near $20 for this type of portion size. I ordered through grubhub and I cannot adjust the spice level. The Yellow Curry was spicier than anticipated which was another bumper as I can't really eat spicy food. I ordered pad thai from Thai VP before and the portion size was okay. I didn't need to cook anything after eating that.

    Crispy chicken wings
    Huong L.

I was craving Thai food and this was in the area so decided to give it a try. The place is located outside of crossroads mall where joybox and doughzone is. After looking at the menu, we decided to try the devil's lamb curry and the crispy garlic wings. Evei was delicious, the wings was crispy and perfectly cook. It was on the tiny side though. The lamb in the curry was super tender and the broth itself was very flavorful, reminds me of Indian curry rather than Thai. This would have been a 4 star rating but the price have to knock it down a star. The curry was small portion and it doesn't come with rice. You definitely need rice in order to eat the curry, so for a bowl of curry and rice, you're looking at $17. I would have been ok of it was spectacular but it wasnt. And the chicken wings, as I mentioned, is small (little bigger than karage). And for $8 for 6 small wings is pricey

I ordered the mango mocktail and the banana curry, and both were delicious. The curry especially stood out. Rice isn't included by default, but there are plenty of carb options--you can add noodles on the side if you're not in the mood for rice. Portions are very generous, so come hungry. One slightly odd thing: they had space heaters running indoors. The overall temperature was comfortable, but the person sitting right in front of one was definitely feeling the heat. Service was very attentive and friendly, though not the fastest--dishes didn't all come out at once. It looked like there were only one or two people in the kitchen, so it's understandable. Overall, if you're vegan/vegetarian--or dining with a group that has dietary restrictions--and you're in Bellevue, this place is worth checking out.

This was on a Friday night at almost 6pm and my friend and I came in to a nearly empty interior that filled up throughout our stay. Is it just dinnertime that time or were my friend and I bringing in the crowds? You'll enjoy a very clean and well-kept restaurant with clean tables and chairs, with lighting that's very little but lights up the whole place well. Menu has a lot of offerings (both regular and vegetarian) but since it's dinnertime I decided on a rice dish as usual. I got their beef short ribs rice dish, which has their usual marinated short ribs with a fried egg and veggies. I actually liked how they offered their rice in a separate bowl, and everything else on one plate... which means the meat almost covered my whole plate! By the way, my friend got their grilled pork chop rice dish, and the meat also almost completely covered his plate. Both our meats were marinated so well and held in so much flavor, and came off their bones easily. We both agreed the grilled beef short rib dish I ordered was the winner because of the bolder and more defined marinated taste of the meat. I've tried so many Vietnamese restaurants and almost exclusively get their beef short ribs rice on the first visits of them, but this is the first time I've seen meat portions this huge for a rice dish. I'm thinking of coming back here for another visit even if I have to deal with the tight parking plaza this place is close to.

It's a small shop with a great variety of affordable items, and while it's take-out only, the service is incredibly efficient despite the steady stream of customers. The highlight of my visit was the Purple Rice Roll. Made with a blend of black and white rice, pork floss, pickled mustard & turnip, and a Chinese donut (you-tiao), it has a perfect balance of flavors. I love that they make it fresh to order in the back, so you get that wonderful crispy texture from the donut against the chewy rice. I also picked up several other items to go: * Unsweetened Soy Milk (Half Gallon): A staple for me. * Steamed Veggie Bun and Meat & Chive Bun: Both were delicious and very satisfying. * Pork Buns (4-pack from the fridge): These are great to have on hand for a quick meal. The buns are generously filled and offer great value for the price. The Seolleongtang came with shredded meat, while the Kalbi Tang had big chunks of meat and bone, it was quite a bit bigger but the broth wasn't the same as promised and was a bit tasteless. Furthermore, when we brought our leftover soups home, neither of the broths solidified when refrigerated. That is a key tell-all, because real Seolleongtang broth made from ox bones and rich in collagen and nutrients would congeal when refrigerated. So I highly recommend not ordering their low quality Seolleongtangs. The banchan dishes were fine, I wish they gave you more options as I would've liked to try some of their other sides to see if I wanted to buy some since they sell the banchan dishes in a refrigerated case. I also got the wings with the onion powder on them very unique and different flavor but way too expensive. Restaurant is small with lots of tables packed in. It felt a little stuffy. Every single item was DELICIOUS with absolutely zero notes from either of us. Our favorite had to be the crudo with the vibrant orange, tangy sauce. Their seafood is all incredibly fresh. For drinks, we got the maracuya sour and hanami whisper. Both drinks were a bit stronger than we expected but we enjoyed them nonetheless. The fact that these were also coated in oil was pretty nice. On the inside, I thought the prawns were cooked well - they remained pretty soft and didn't appear overcooked I did feel like the spice was pretty much missing, though. I ordered 4/5 stars, but it tasted more like 1/5 stars as there was a pretty significant lack of spice that took away from a lot of the flavor potential. Speaking of the missing flavor, there should've been a lot more sauce added to this dish - either poured on top of the prawns or the prawns come sitting in it. The benefit of this is that it you can mix everything with the rice - and this sauce coats the rice to make it taste good. The way it's currently presented, the prawns are too large to really eat with the rice, and mixing the two will just result in eating the meat and taking another bite of plain rice because there isn't enough sauce to coat the rice. This dish just ended up being eating the prawns by themselves - the rice wasn't super useful As a result, after finishing I really wasn't that full For the price (around 20 ish) there are a good amount of prawns, but I wouldn't really say you're getting a good deal here

Went out for dinner with family and tried the Thai sukiyaki, khao soi, and Panang curry with tofu…read more We chose spice level 3 for most dishes and level 5 for the khao soi. The restaurant was hosting an event, so part of the space was closed off, and service was noticeably slow. It took a while for the food to arrive. The khao soi was decent--not the best I've had, but still a solid choice. The Panang curry had a mild flavor with a subtle lime note and a touch of sweetness, which was interesting but not particularly bold. Overall, the food was okay, but unless you live nearby, it might not be worth the trip. If you do go, I'd recommend ordering a higher spice level, as everything leaned on the mild side. Good ambiance overall.
