All Thai is like a 10 min walk from my place so I was excited to try it out with a friend. First thing I noticed was the interior. It was beautifully decorated, perfect if you're having a date or going for a cute gathering with friends. I went around 4:50 pm on a Saturday and it was not busy at all. My friend ordered the yellow curry and I ordered Thai Green Tea with Tom Yum Noodle Soup. I enjoyed my noodle soup, it was exactly what I needed with the sourness and the crunchiness of the fried wonton wrapper on top. I was able to finish most of it by myself besides the soup and bit of the ground pork. The Thai green tea was refreshing. My friend liked her yellow curry also. Unfortunately they did not have happy hour on the day I went, but I would like to try their menu for that in the future. It looks like they have a great selection of drinks. The fish is breaded and deep fried. I have ordered curry salmon from many area Thai restaurants. This is the first fried version. So unnecessary. The rest of it is good. I quite like the steamed broccoli to accompany the protein. Koong Oob Woon Sen - 4 Stars Menu: House special bean thread noodle with prawns, mushroom, celery in sweet ginger sauce I am a fan of bean thread noodles, aka crystal noodles or clear noodles. This is a common dish found in Thai restaurants. Bouncy, chewy noodle is served on spinach. Their version is less greasy than another restaurant that serves it in a hotpot. My only critique was that their sticky rice was basically normal rice, you can barely tell the difference. -panang curry stuffed angel wings 2/5 ---disappointing to be honest -- the wings were TINY and it was also pretty tough. Although it didn't look too busy so I'm sure the wait would've been fine without a reservation. Must Try Fried Rice 3.5/5 There wasn't much flavor with the rice or chicken. I tried the cashew chicken and Thai iced tea. Really great quality, decent serving sizes, and delicious. Spice level is out of 5 stars. The menu is quite large with a something for everyone! A few bummers that would have led to more stars: The rice is not included with the entrees and must be purchased separately. They are not able to split checks between more than 4 cards. This was disappointing as we had a group of 6, which isn't an unreasonable amount. For this reason I would say this place is not group friendly. The toilet in the bathroom felt like it's not fully bolted down to the ground - super wobbly. Finally, we had to ask if they did anything special for birthdays despite it being very clear we were celebrating (gifts on the table). There's a bar with bar seating area, a couple of nice tables with couches for group dining by the window, and a mix of tables for varying # of guests further inside. This location used to be Thai Chef (and is still showing as Thai Chef in some maps depending on which map you are using). But this is a new restaurant and different owner. Been here a couple of times and this is a place where you dine and enjoy conversations with your friends as you wait for your food and drinks. Friendly staff. Cocktails and Mocktails -- all were good, and they don't skimp on the alcohol - Tuk Tuk - Bael juice syrup with bourbon whiskey, triple sec, orange juice touch of cinnamon (they serve it by lighting the cinnamon stick on fire!) - Lychee Martini - MaiTai - Spicy Mango Berry (mocktail) Appetizers: - All Thai Samplers - some popular small bites of crispy spring rolls, fresh rolls, crab delights, prawns in blankets, chicken pot stickers and fried calamari -- we ordered this the first time we visited and although it was good because you got to taste a sample of appetizers, I wouldn't order it again. - Prawns in a Blanket - deep-fried prawns stuffed with group chicken and wrapped in a wonton wrapper. Flavorful and it wasn't spicy at all. Rice: Five Friendship Fried Rice - stir fried rice with a combination of prawns, calamari, beef, pork, chicken, egg, carrots, peas, onion and tomato topped with cilantro and cucumber. Delicious! We had ordered one fish dish and rice dish that aren't listed on their website but it was on their menu. And they were both good. Dessert: - Dessert combo - Roti with sweet condensed milk and coconut ice cream and black sticky rice pudding -- this was soooo good! My friend ordered this and I got to taste the roti and black sticky rice pudding. I didn't get to taste the coconut ice cream but was told it was very good. Wil have to try this dessert next time! - Steamed Thai Tea Custard bread - this dessert was good, but was anticipating something else so was a bit disappointed when it was served -- a bowl of custard and pieces of sweet rolls. The custard was very good! I was anticipating the bread to be baked with the custard. My friends who have their favorite Thai restaurant said the food was good, but it was lacking in protein compared to the restaurant they go to. Meaning each dish didn't serve as much protein as the dishes they would get from the other restaurant. I can't tell. Ever since I saw photos of All Thai on Yelp, I knew I had to view the eye-catching restaurant for myself. Between the hanging floral décor, stunning bar area and elegant seating, I was completely in awe of the aesthetic. Four of us came for an early dinner at 4:00P and there were quite a few tables already occupied, so it's well worth making a reservation. Their menu is pretty extensive and I was all about browsing the chef's specials and street food sections for some unique options. Pricing is on par with other Thai spots in Bellevue with the specials being on the steeper end as expected. + PANANG STUFFED ANGEL WINGS ($21.95): Four chicken wing pieces stuffed with vermicelli noodles and vegetables in a fragrant panang curry sauce. The chicken was moist with a thin flavorful skin and the curry sauce brought a warm spice. I've never had a dish like this before, so it was worth trying although the price was high for the serving size. + KHO MOK TALAY ($26.95): I highly recommend this chef's special! A thick red coconut curry with scallops, shrimp, calamari, coconut meat and bell peppers came served in a young coconut. The curry was rich and creamy with the perfect heat (for us) at two stars. The seafood was a little overcooked, but I was glad to see they included a reasonable amount. + KAPLAU GAI KAI DOA ($17.95): Minced chicken in a hot basil sauce was served alongside white rice and a fried egg. With the chicken being on the saltier end when eaten by itself, perhaps we were supposed to mix it all up with the rice. This is a comforting "stick to your ribs" dish, although I probably would skip it next time. + PAD KEE MAO ($16.95): While the plate included a generous amount of chicken and vegetables, I wish it contained more noodles (which were cooked perfectly!) Usually, Pad Kee Mao has a sweeter sauce, but this one was actually more on the spicy side from their homemade chili oil, making for a terrific rendition. + PAD BAI KAPLAU ($16.95): A medley of veggies and our selection of pork were in a flavorful savory basil sauce. I had seen an Instagram reel about Thai restaurant saying it was the perfect date night spot and so I brought my boyfriend here for dinner last week. We came at around 6pm and the restaurant was already pretty packed. We had to wait a while for a table, not because they didn't have a table available, but because they were short on staff. Once seated, we ordered a couple of THAI ICED TEAS which our waitress got to us quickly. They were delicious, had the perfect ratio of tea to half and half, and were not overly sweet. They also came in cute mason jars. For entrees, we ordered the PAD SEE EW with chicken (although they accidentally gave us seafood) (4 stars) and the RAMA NOODLES with chicken (3 stars). I'm general, PAD SEE EW is usually my boyfriend's and my favorite dish when we get Thai food. However, we thought that the pad see we here was honestly just okay as it wasn't as the noodles were dry and lacked sauce. With that said, it was definitely 4 star spicy and significantly spicier than the 3 star Rama Noodles. The RAMA NOODLES were excellent- we would order this dish again for sure. The peanut sauce was the perfect consistency and you can tell that they're not using Skippy or Jiff peanut butter. It also had a variety of seafood including squid, shrimp, and scallop, which were all very tasty and not overly cooked or rubbery. The atmosphere is very trendy and classy. Props to whoever did the interior because they definitely knew what they were doing. The seating, flooring, and walls have different colors, textures, and patterns- maximalism design but without the gaudiness. It also has a mix of modern and traditional Thai designs. If you order appetizers, they serve it in a pretty tiered basket (like high tea). The plates, cups, and silverware are just as trendy as the interior decorations. For such a chic restaurant, prices are actually comparable to other Thai restaurants in Bellevue and Issaquah (e.g. Thai Grill, Similan, Khao San, etc.) and they give larger portions. I had also fell so deeply in love with the pandan gin cocktail that I decided that I needed to come back just to have the cocktail again. Very soft, the meat pieces are differing levels of cooked. The Tom yum noodle soup tasted more like Chinese hot and sour soup to me than classic Tom yum, we told the waitress and she told us that when you order the noodle version of Tom yum it taste pretty different, so just something to be mindful of -- so you can ask for it to taste more like Tom yum for next time she said.
