Every single time we come here--we walk out with our bellies and hearts full. This place reminds me of an old restaurant in Queen Anne that closed in COVID that was called Tup Tim Thai. They serve all their food with love, umami, and grace. Their service is quick. They one our family well. Their ambiance is fantastic - perfect for a GNO or a birthday party. And their food is just nothing short of perfection.

    Must try Fried rice

Great service and ambiance. We arrived on a Saturday evening with a reservation and were seated immediately. Although it didn't look too busy so I'm sure the wait would've been fine without a reservation. Must Try Fried Rice 3.5/5 There wasn't much flavor with the rice or chicken. It wasn't bland but I didn't taste much complexity in flavor and it left me underwhelmed. With that being said, the sauce was good and complemented the rice well. The portion was large and was about two medium sized meals for me. I'd be happy to come back another time and try their other dishes to see if this was just a dud.

We enjoyed a meal here celebrating our friend's birthday! The outside looks very unsuspecting, but the inside is decorated so well. It's got a very classy vibe and great ambiance! I tried the cashew chicken and Thai iced tea. Really great quality, decent serving sizes, and delicious. Spice level is out of 5 stars. The menu is quite large with a something for everyone! A few bummers that would have led to more stars: The rice is not included with the entrees and must be purchased separately. They are not able to split checks between more than 4 cards. This was disappointing as we had a group of 6, which isn't an unreasonable amount. For this reason I would say this place is not group friendly. The toilet in the bathroom felt like it's not fully bolted down to the ground - super wobbly. Finally, we had to ask if they did anything special for birthdays despite it being very clear we were celebrating (gifts on the table). They gave a complimentary scoop of ice-cream but unfortunately our birthday girl is dairy-free. Great food but an underwhelming experience.

can be found in the same plaza as safeway in bellevue. craving thai food and wanted to try someplace new. something interesting is that our water for the table was lukewarm. thai sampler was nice so you can get a variety. crispy garlic chicken with brown rice wasn't very crispy and too much sauce. phad see ew with beef was yummy. veggie dish with pork belly was ok, pork belly a bit touch and chewy.

When you walk inside the restaurant, you wouldn't think that it's located in a strip mall. The decor is warm and inviting. There's a bar with bar seating area, a couple of nice tables with couches for group dining by the window, and a mix of tables for varying # of guests further inside. This location used to be Thai Chef (and is still showing as Thai Chef in some maps depending on which map you are using). But this is a new restaurant and different owner. Been here a couple of times and this is a place where you dine and enjoy conversations with your friends as you wait for your food and drinks. Friendly staff. Cocktails and Mocktails -- all were good, and they don't skimp on the alcohol - Tuk Tuk - Bael juice syrup with bourbon whiskey, triple sec, orange juice touch of cinnamon (they serve it by lighting the cinnamon stick on fire!) - Lychee Martini - MaiTai - Spicy Mango Berry (mocktail) Appetizers: - All Thai Samplers - some popular small bites of crispy spring rolls, fresh rolls, crab delights, prawns in blankets, chicken pot stickers and fried calamari -- we ordered this the first time we visited and although it was good because you got to taste a sample of appetizers, I wouldn't order it again. - Prawns in a Blanket - deep-fried prawns stuffed with group chicken and wrapped in a wonton wrapper. Served with sweet chili dipping sauce. This was a hit in our group! Nice crunch and not oily. - Crispy Spring Roll - deep fried petite roll of mixed vegetables & spices wrapped in a wonton wrapper served with plum sauce. It was good, but I've had better crispy spring roll elsewhere. I think mainly because it was missing protein. - Chicken Satay - tender marinated chicken breast served on bamboo skewers with both peanut and cucumber-chili dipping sauces. Another hit for us! From Dinner menu: Grill: All entrees served with a pot of sticky rice, papaya salad, and Jeaw (special regional spicy dipping sauce) - Khor Moo Yang - Grilled glazed marinated pork collar - Crying Tiger - Grilled glazed marinated New York strip Both were really good! Nicely marinated and flavorful. The papaya salad was nice and fresh, and the dipping sauce was a nice finishing touch to the meat. Street Food: - Phad Cha Pork Ribs - A popular stir fried dish from southern region that has mushroom, green bean, onion, bell peppers, basil, and pepper corn in spicy red curry paste served with jasmine rice. Flavorful and it wasn't spicy at all. Rice: Five Friendship Fried Rice - stir fried rice with a combination of prawns, calamari, beef, pork, chicken, egg, carrots, peas, onion and tomato topped with cilantro and cucumber. Delicious! We had ordered one fish dish and rice dish that aren't listed on their website but it was on their menu. And they were both good. Dessert: - Dessert combo - Roti with sweet condensed milk and coconut ice cream and black sticky rice pudding -- this was soooo good! My friend ordered this and I got to taste the roti and black sticky rice pudding. I didn't get to taste the coconut ice cream but was told it was very good. Wil have to try this dessert next time! - Steamed Thai Tea Custard bread - this dessert was good, but was anticipating something else so was a bit disappointed when it was served -- a bowl of custard and pieces of sweet rolls. The custard was very good! I was anticipating the bread to be baked with the custard. My friends who have their favorite Thai restaurant said the food was good, but it was lacking in protein compared to the restaurant they go to. Meaning each dish didn't serve as much protein as the dishes they would get from the other restaurant. I can't tell. It's either that or we were just hungry and didn't order enough food. :)

The service was noticeably amazing. We were celebrating a birthday and they took our cake without question, placed and lit the candles we provided before coming out, and provided plates and silverware. Food was presented very tastefully as well! I'd say the portions are a little smaller. If you order extra rice it may be smaller than you expect. Decorations make really good backdrop for photos that I wasn't expecting. You can tell they spent lots of thought into the decor.

huge portions, great food, lovely atmosphere. Ordered a green curry and a pad thai, both which came out really fast. The server was friendly and attentive. The decor of this restaurant is so cute and special. I'll definitely be back to order drinks and the chef specials in the future!

Found this spot through TikTok hype and finally checked it out on a Saturday at 3:50 PM. The room was quiet (perfect for what I wanted), and the decor is cute, romantic, and classy--more lounge than traditional Thai at first glance. It's a great date or social-night setting, with chill background music and a full bar that makes it easy to drop in just for drinks. Service was a strong point. My server handled the table and the bar, stayed friendly, and checked on me consistently--exactly the kind of attention that makes a solo stop feel easy. Her cocktails were balanced and well-made, reinforcing that this is a solid place to meet friends for a round before dinner. Food looked exactly like the TikTok reels--extravagant and camera-ready--but flavors were mixed. From the appetizer platter, the fried squid had a very thick batter and the squid was a bit chewy; the spring rolls on the top tier tasted dry, likely from dehydrated carrot shreds. The standout bite was the fried shrimp roll--plump shrimp with a thin, crisp wrapper. Dipping sauces were standard (curry, sweet-and-sour, condensed sweet soy)--fine but not memorable. The Crying Tiger entrée was well-executed: tender beef, sticky rice, and a side salad; it did include those same dry carrot shreds. I chose 2/4 spice, which ran hotter than expected (could be my tolerance, but flagging it for others). Bottom line: I recommend All Thai for drinks and a social night--the vibe and service shine. If the kitchen lightens the squid batter, refreshes the veggies (no dried carrots), and amps up house-made sauces, the flavors will match the presentation. I'll be back for the bar and to see if the food catches up to the look.

Have heard a lot about this spot, beautiful decor and ambiance. They have a full bar as well. Really enjoyed the Thai tea and Thai coffee. Ordered Panang curry, basil fried rice and pad kee mao - all of them were good but could be more flavorful. Spring rolls were very tiny and did not taste as good - very oily and only had cabbage! The service was good and she answered all of our questions with a lot of patience

This place has the best decor of any Thai restaurant I've seen. It is just lovely with so many details. The appetizer sampler is amazing ! We have been there twice trying all our usual favorites like pad Thai, fried rice, Tom Young and beef salad and everything was seasoned so well. Would highly recommend!

"Wow!" is exactly what you'll either be saying or thinking as you walk in. It's very pretty and the lighting concept is gentle and glowy. A great place for a first date or date night. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'm pretty picky when it comes to Thai food but the Mieng Kham was on point! The crying Tiger was pretty good but I would ask for more sticky rice. The Yen Ta Foo was good. Although, the region of Thailand my mom is from, cooks it differently but it's still quite good. I would eat here again! Let me know what you think!

Beautiful Thai place in the area feels like a hidden gem as from the outside I didn't expect the beautiful ambiance and overall amazing experience I had. The service was super friendly and attentive. The food and drinks are very aesthetically pleasing. Definitely a must try. My favorite was the kho mok tally. It was delicious and love that it had actually coconut pieces in it and served in a coconut with meat still on it. I got cocktails for drinks which were amazing too. I finished with mango sticky rice which was so good all around great experience

I made a reservation ahead of time, but when we got there around 8 pm we realized we probably didn't need one because it was seat yourself and still pretty open. No complaints though, it made it easy to grab a table and settle in. The vibe was cool. Definitely a sports bar feel with TVs around, and as the night went on the DJ started getting set up which I can imagine makes it a fun spot on a Friday night for people meeting up after work or hanging out with friends. We decided to share a few things so we could try a little bit of everything. We ordered the catfish bites, lemon pepper wings, garlic parmesan wings, and macaroni and cheese. I'll start with the positives because the service was great. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful, which always makes a difference. Food-wise, it just didn't totally hit for me. The catfish bites had a really tasty batter, but the texture threw me off a little. I personally like my catfish cooked a little harder, and these were a bit soft for my liking. The lemon pepper wings were a little too salty for me, and the wings themselves weren't cooked quite the way I like them. I tend to like my wings cooked a little harder, so these felt a bit soft and bulky to me (if that makes sense). The garlic parmesan wings were okay flavor-wise, but still similar in texture. The macaroni and cheese was okay. Nothing bad, just pretty standard. The menu itself has a good mix of comfort food and bar favorites like chicken and waffles, shrimp & grits, burger & fries....so there are definitely options to try. Overall, the service were great, the vibe was cool and I can definitely see this being a fun spot once the DJ gets going and the place fills up. The food just didn't quite land for me personally this time. I gave it 3 stars, but if Yelp allowed half stars it would probably be closer to a 3.5 for me. I'd still be open to coming back and trying a few other things on the menu.

But no one ever called back. It feels like they don't value their customers at all. The food quality has completely changed, and the way they respond to feedback is even worse. This was while the place was practically empty, so I'm not sure what else could have been occupying their time. Second, I ordered the pork shoulder stir fry which wasn't bad but had several large pieces of pure fat & gristle in it that I felt a high quality restaurant would have taken out of the dish. It's indicative of lazy & careless food preparation skills. Also, the basmati rice was very under-cooked...some pieces were even crunchy. Lastly, after leaving the place, I realized that I accidentally left my sunglasses there. So I called later that evening to inquire if they had found them. I discovered they route all incoming calls to a bot that instantly made me feel unimportant and unappreciated. What's worse is it tried to connect me with someone in the restaurant, but kept looping back into its own messaging narrative. What an absolute PITA. This enables me to make a broader point: Restaurants have to get it through their heads that cutting costs has negative impact on customer experience, putting the lifeblood of their business into jeopardy. Take the widespread adoption of QR code-based menus during COVID...how many restaurants do you know actually switched back to real menus after COVID passed? The answer is very few. The reason why? They are too stingy to pony up the dough and ignore the benefit to the customer experience. They figure, 'people already know how to do that so why spend the money on printing up menus anymore?". They couldn't care less about what customers might actually enjoy more, and that's the real travesty. If restaurants are going to force their customers into a self-serve model (as so many have nowadays), then why bother tipping anyone? I am so fed up of a world where the idolatry of wealth has surpassed the appreciation and value of real, engaging human experiences. The Central Bar + Restaurant could help reverse this course if they ever decide to they put customer experience first instead of their own profits. UPDATE: Added one star because they actually had my shades...went ot go pick them up today.

The signage is hidden, but you'll spot it if you walk around 106th Street, like I did, to see the lunch menu. I visited Superkim Crab House on a Sunday afternoon earlier this month. Upon walking in, there weren't a lot of diners, but at most, two tables total about 12 people within the two tables. We were greeted by Zack, who allowed us to pick where to sit. He was a very welcoming and kind server. Zack allowed us to look at the menu but provided us with some of his favorite dishes to help us narrow down what we wanted to dine on. He mentioned the clam chowder and crab croquettes as being a few of his favorite dishes, and we were very intrigued by them, so we ordered them to start with. We were not disappointed with either of the items! The crab croquette and clam chowder were so flavorful, and the crab croquette was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. For drinks, we decided to order from the mocktails menu: Lychee Lemonade, which had a strong taste of the cucumber, was an okay drink, but if you love cucumbers, you'll like it; Prickly Mint, was more my liking, as it had more of the fruity cranberry taste; and then the Mango Spritz, which my friend wasn't a big fan of the taste. In terms of food, we were thinking about the boil, but in the end, we decided on two entree dishes: The Holy Crab and the Dungeness Crab Fried Rice. The menu clearly shows three pepper icons next to The Holy Crab, and they were not kidding about the spice! It was spicy! The spiciness gradually kicked in after consuming it, but don't get me wrong, it was still a delicious dish! The Crab Fried Rice was also very flavorful, and we used that to cool down our palettes after a spoonful of The Holy Crab. The restaurant's atmosphere was pleasant. It wasn't too loud or quiet, and ample space between the tables. The bathrooms were interesting. I believe they kept the Lot No.3 bathroom layout with the industrial look, and there were gender-neutral individual bathroom stalls. There are two levels for seating, so if you choose to, you can also sit upstairs for a more private dining experience. Within about 10 minutes of us being seated at our table, Mr. Kim, the head chef, came to visit and chatted with us for a bit. He was very kind and welcoming, ensuring we enjoyed our time at his restaurant. Overall, our experience dining at Superkim Crab House was superb! Everything was terrific in terms of service and hospitality. We interacted with the great waitstaff, including Zach and Trish, who made us feel like we were chatting with friends. The food was delicious, but the price was somewhat on the high side for the portion size. However, the quality of the food was worth it. We heard that their Happy Hour menu is a good value, so I will try it out when it is available, M - F, 3PM - 6PM. TL:DR Get the crab croquette and clam chowder for sure! The Holy Crab is a very spicy dish, so get it if you like a lot of spice! The staff is friendly and helpful! Happy Hour is M - F, 3PM - 6PM. Parking in the parking garage is free for now, while construction is being done in the area.
