    Fried chicken combo
    Annie C.

So sad to learn one of my favorite restaurants is closing after this weekend. My husband and I decided to dine here for lunch one last time. By the time we went inside, there were lots of takeout orders and customers dining. We ordered our usual spicy fried chicken and Portuguese egg tarts. Everything we ordered was delicious as always. It's bittersweet to eat there but I'm glad we get to enjoy it one last time. I wish them the best for their future.

The spicy chicken thigh had nice spice and the meat was still tender. Breading/coating layer was crispy and thin. We got 2 fried chicken thighs, 2 fried chicken drumsticks, spicy cucumber, and green beans. This was a good amount of food for two people. I got a roasted milk tea (light ice, 25 % sugar) and it had great depth, could taste the tea. 6.25 for a normal size that you would get elsewhere for more than 8 dollars. Parking is free in the lot next door and also on the street. You can also park across the street in crossroads mall and walk over too. Service was great. Server offered us larger table since it wasn't busy. They have a busy take out game going it looks like. Didn't feel rushed. Food came out quick.

So Tasty is one of our favorite family dinner takeout options. So Tasty offers a variety of special combos and holiday specials for those seeking to order for a large party. The food is really good and always prepared to order. The garlic green beans, and cabbage are my favorites. My husband and two boys love the chicken, egg rice and crab puffs. Customer service at pick up is always excellent, and nothing from our order is ever missed. I will definitely return and highly recommend!

Purely evaluating this place on their Chinese fried chicken! Great value - I got the three piece combo that comes with fries and a drink. I was stuffed. I prefer the spicy over the original and like the green tea as the drink. Order in advance if you don't want to wait since they make it fresh.

Finally I get to try their fried chicken here like my first time here back in 2021! My party of 3 got seated immediately since this was during a lunch hour around 11am with almost no tables filled. We decided to get several dishes, including their well-known fired chicken: - Spicy cumin lamb: this appetizer was fire, not literally. The spice was almost nonexistent but it was a nice, chewy texture without the usual gamey taste. - Wonton in chili oil: this was a step up in terms of spice. Fresh, piping hot, and the chili oil paired well with the coating of the wontons. - Basil fried rice: full of basil, seasoned with eggs and what tastes like sesame oil. Great palette cleanser. - Signature fried chicken: we got a mixture of mid wings and thighs to split among the three of us. We got 6 of each so we each got 2 of each kind. Our favorite was the chicken things because of how juicy they were despite usual chicken thighs losing their juiciness compared to mid wings. All of them came out piping hot and had a crunchy outside crisp which was a huge plus. With their fried chicken in particular, you can't go wrong with whatever you choose to get; they're all made fresh and crunchy and this competes with even Korean fried chicken!

I haven't been back to this place for years and saw it on SRW and decided to hop in again. We came after 1 and the restaurant is mostly empty but lots of take out and delivery orders. We ordered the $20 lunch deal and got salad, drink, fried chicken thigh, wing and even a fried chicken sandwich!! That's a lot of food so very good deal. I couldn't finish the sandwich. The fried chicken was very good, light and crunchy on the outside, juicy and flavorful in the inside. I ordered the spicy one and it is definitely hot. We enjoyed our meal a lot!

Solid spot overall. The restaurant was very clean, the service was good, and the food definitely delivered. Everything came out fresh and hot, and the staff was attentive without being overbearing. But let me talk about the fried chicken for a second....OMG. Crispy, seasoned just right, and cooked perfectly. Easily my favorite thing on the menu and the reason I'll be back. Definitely a strong 4-star experience. If you're looking for good food, a clean space and solid service, this place is worth checking out.

So tasty, yup it really was. Kind of pricey but we will definitely be back, even though we don't live anywhere near here! Probably the least exciting was the ear of corn. It was kind of meh and certainly not what I had pictured by the name. We tried lots of different dishes and overall it was all very good. Loved the sauces and the sides but the hero was the chicken. Loved how crispy it is and the flavors were good. HUGE pieces of chicken too. We way over-ordered but it warmed in an air fryer like it was fresh. The only crazy thing that happened, which I did not deduct stars for; while we were enjoying our dinner a staff member decided it was the appropriate time to sit just behind the counter, near the door to the kitchen and cut her nails. YUP, you read that right.

A new must try item on their menu - Chopped pepper hot fish! Folks please try it - halal and delicious to boot :)

Wow what a great hidden find!! The chicken we ordered was so yummy and juicy, full of breading which we loved. The spice was just right. We also ordered the crab puffs and spicy chili oil cucumber, another delicious set. The service was great and they even packed our leftovers for us! The inside was very clean. Will definitely come back.

So Tasty is right! The husband heard about this place and had been talking about trying it out. We ordered the must-have item, fried chicken, of course, and a couple of side dishes. The staff was super friendly, and the restaurant was roomy and clean. We went right as they opened on a Saturday morning, so we were pretty much the only ones in there. Now to the food. The chicken was perfectly spiced. We got the spicy chicken, and you can tell it's marinated in spice and just coated with spice on the outside. The tomato brisket soup was delicious. It definitely was a bit sweet from the tomatoes, so if you don't like sweet soup, it's probably not for you. Stir fried green beans with garlic were spot on, and lastly, the intestines were a nice side dish. Ordering intestines can always be a gamble, especially if they aren't cleaned properly. I can happily say they were very clean. I would order all those items again. Highly recommend this place. All the dishes were good and the staff were super nice.

    Self explanatory.

I was in the area (renewing car tabs) and just wanted to drive by and check out the location. Then the voice next to me said "why view the location without sampling the chicken". Tough to argue with that logic. We ordered 4 thighs and when they were delivered it looked like a full platter of chicken. Sorry I forgot the "before" picture, but the after picture explains the 5 star review.

I really liked the filling in the football, which contained ground pork and mushrooms, not so much the flour for the outer layer. I also liked the tripe, pea tips, and chicken feet. They were delectable. Other than that, it seemed a bit plain. I didn't really like the chili oil they used, it was more like a sambal. I'm glad we ended with the mango pudding for dessert. The mold for it was so cute. Hopefully next time I come here they change up the chili used.

First time, they didn't secure the lid to the bowl of congee and it arrived all over the poor uber driver's car and in the delivery bag. Second time, they served us burnt congee that reeked of chemicals and had little burnt bits in it. Then this time, the congee is absolutely tasteless and they gave us the wrong soy sauce for the shrimp rice rolls. Shrimp rice rolls usually come with a sweet soy sauce, but they always pack you a whole sauce container of regular soy sauce that you won't realize until you pour it over the rice rolls. Sure they might be more reliable if you're dining there; but please don't even bother ordering take out or delivery. It's funny because every time i order congee, it's because I'm so severely hungover and sick and am so desperate for some comfort food. You can tell there's real attention to detail, from the way the dumplings are folded to the balance of flavors in every bite. The soup dumplings were the highlight of the meal. It's one of those dishes where you instinctively slow down because you don't want to waste a single bite. We also tried a few other dishes to share, and everything was just as impressive. The noodles had the perfect texture, the fried items stayed crispy without feeling greasy, and every plate came out hot and beautifully prepared. Nothing felt rushed or mass-produced, which made the meal feel even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself had a clean, welcoming atmosphere with an open kitchen that let you watch the dumplings being made by hand.
