I really liked this place! It's another mifen place but so much better (IMO) than 10 seconds yunnan, which is the more popular joint. Super flavorful broth and good popcorn chicken. I wouldn't recommend getting the other side dishes outside of popcorn chicken; I tried them on another day and they tasted kinda wack. But the noodles are solid for sure.

Great dishes and flavor. Tomato beef soup is very rich in a great way. Portions are generous and there are non-spicy options

I came here for dinner and had the beef brisket and the bao. They serve the noodles and the proteins/spice separately. The noodles were good and the proteins could have been braised a bit more as they were not so tender. The bun was decent - but is not their specialty. I wished the bun had a bit more protein. The service was quick and attentive as they would repeat the order one more time after placing the order via QR. Overall, the place is a nice place to get a quiet dinner post work as there are solo tables as well.

    English name for this restaurant!

This restaurant is located in the Keystone Plaza next to the UPS Store in Factoria. This restaurant used to be Shanghai House. There is no English sign but I took a photo of the front, so take a look if you can't find this place. I was able to get the English name or the restaurant by looking at the tablet at the front, which read "Shaoshan Rice Noodle." They specialize in mala based Chinese noodle soups. I ordered the pork interestines spicy noodle soup and it was pretty awesome. The mala and the protein were provided In a separate bowl on the side and the server told me to add little bit of it at a time to the main bowl (which contains the noodles, herbs/veggies, and the base soup) until it reaches the spicy level to my liking. I can handle my spice quite well so I was able to add almost all of the mala without issues. Please note that adding mala also makes the main bowl saltier too. I did not think mala is super spicy but if you can't handle spice, be careful! The food wasn't cheap but the portions are quite huge. The service was nice but our server did not speak fluent English. This did not take anything away from my experience here though. Other than me, all the customers looked and spoke Chinese (which is a great sign - i.e. authentic!). This place is brand new (probably only about a month old as of today - December 5th, 2025). Interior is super clean (obviously) with lots of seating available. In the middle of the restaurant, they have about 3 or 4 solo cubical seats with QR code menu. If you work at T-Mobile, aren't very social, and want to enjoy some authentic spicy Chinese noodles without human interactios, this is the perfect spot for you. I would also add that this venue seems good for groups (probably up to 6 people or so). I will revisit to try other dishes as well. As of today, they do not serve alcohol, which is totally fine, but I really thought that they should consider adding bubble tea or something sweet dessert to round out the salty/spicy noodle soups. I will miss Shanghai House but Shaoshan Rice Noodle is a great addition to this area. Highly recommended.

This place is actually pretty spicy I didn't think it was gonna be noticeable but it's got a kick to it. Inside is super Chinese and it reminds me of the noodles I had in China so feels pretty authentic

Solid place for noodle soup. Service was friendly and prompt, and ordering is done through a QR code. They have tables but also solo booths single diners. They serve their noodle soup with the base and then separate bowl with the meats and extra flavoring which is nice as you adjust how much flavoring you want. They also had small bites like baos and some fried items but the star was their noodles. Great texture and slippery as they should be. Will be back again.

Rooted in a century-old heritage of authentic Lanzhou beef noodles, our craft honors the legendary five signatures: clear broth, white radish, red chili oil, green cilantro and garlic leeks, and golden hand-pulled noodles. We remain dedicated to traditional techniques--hand-pulling each portion of noodles fresh to order and slow-simmering our rich broth to perfection. In early Chinese history, wheat was not used to make noodles. When it was first introduced, the lack of widespread processing tools like stone mills meant people simply steamed or boiled whole wheat grains. Known as "wheat rice" (mai fan), it was considered a coarse, unpalatable meal for the lower class. It was during the Han Dynasty, with the widespread adoption of rotary stone mills, that humanity truly entered the "flour era." Early noodles were called "soup cakes" (tang bing) or "boiled cakes" (zhu bing), though they remained a luxury mostly reserved for the royal court and the wealthy. It wasn't until the Song Dynasty (10th-13th century) that noodles finally crossed social divides. With a booming urban economy and mature flour-milling techniques, noodle shops emerged everywhere, transforming noodles into an everyday staple for ordinary households. Ambiance: Although the restaurant has been open for many years, the interior remains stylish, bright, and spotless. The management keeps everything impeccably clean. With tables for pairs, groups of four, and larger seating for 6-8 people, it caters effortlessly to any dining setup. Taste: Offering what is arguably the most authentic Lanzhou beef noodle flavor, you can customize your noodle thickness to your liking. The broth is rich and deeply flavorful, clearly the result of hours of careful simmering. Highly recommended! Service: The service here is truly outstanding!

The side dishes were delicious. I really love the boiled peanuts. They were very flavorful however, they were super wet. The broth was good for the beef soup. The location is at the corner of a strip mall in Bellevue. Plenty of parking outside and lots of tables inside as well. The only reason I gave it three stars is because I don't really like that kind of noodle soup. The noodles were really thick and dense. You go in and you can order off the QR code at the table.

The beef broth is on the verge of being too salty but it's balanced by the sheer amount of black pepper that you can taste and not really see inside the clear broth. There's also a ton of beef and veggies inside, and got noodles for this dish. Noodles themselves were al dente and fresh. Friend and I also shared a side of fried dumplings, which came out very hot and didn't really need the sauce provided on our table, as everything already had enough taste. Staff brought out the food relatively fast - within about 10 minutes for all our dishes - and this is on top of the restaurant becoming a full house throughout the hour we stayed. People even started lining up near the waiting area after a while, that's how packed this place gets!

First thing I noticed when I looked at the menu was that the prices are very LA, but before you let that deter you, hear me out: the portion sizes are significantly larger than what you'd get for the same price back home. So in terms of value, you're actually getting a much better deal out here in Redmond. One thing that genuinely caught me off guard; they let me bring my puppy. If you're from LA or the 626, you already know that's basically unheard of. Redmond, Washington is on a whole different level when it comes to being pet friendly, and I loved every second of it. As for the food, it was great overall. The mala wasn't too numbing, which I appreciated, it had just enough kick without overwhelming everything else. The garlic a-choy was perfect, honestly no notes. The braised pork belly was good but I wished it was a touch softer, and I personally felt like my dishes could've used a little more salt or soy sauce, but that's an easy fix and purely personal preference. Would definitely come back next time I'm in the area.
