Amazing place to get hot pot, very similar to boiling point, I enjoyed the flavors and the quality of the meat. I also enjoyed their sauce bar and rice, which is one dollar. I believe a dinner hot pot comes to around $22 at least. Very filling and very delicious.
Located inside the Asian Family Market food court, De Mini Hotpot can be a bit tricky for parking depending on the time of day. We came around lunchtime and luckily were able to find seating without too much trouble. The interior felt cosy and clean, though the seating can feel a little bit tight. The quality of the ingredients was solid, everything tasted fresh. The meat was cooked just right, it was tender and not overdone. Service was also a highlight: the owner was very friendly and checked in on us regularly. There's a condiments and side dish bar as well. While the side dish selection is limited, it's only $1, so no complains there. So why the 3 stars? Just a couple things that I feel like could have been done better. First, the food came out extremely slowly for me. The rest of my table had nearly finished their mini hotpots by the time mine finally started boiling. I then had to rush through an extremely hot pot while everyone else waited, which wasn't the most enjoyable experience. Second, I ordered the "Hot" spice level. The spiciness itself was excellent, but unfortunately it overwhelmed the other flavors. I've had dishes that are spicier than this, but were still flavorful and fragrant. Here, at the hot spice level, the mini hotpot tasted mostly just spicy, without much depth. If I were in the area, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. That said, if someone invited me, I'd be open to trying a different option. Overall, a solid 3 stars, maybe inching a bit towards 3.5. Prices are a bit on the higher side compared to nearby competitors, but the portions are generous. I couldn't quite finish my mini hotpot, though I came close :D
For a mini hotpot the food was cooked really well! Meat was not over cooked and the vegetables are still crisp. The service was great, the owner was very good at coming to see if there's anything you need. The ambience is pretty nice. Smooth jazz with hotpot is a nice relaxing feeling. I would definitely come back. I would say for lunch it's slightly over priced maybe at 19.99 it would be a great lunch option. Definitely come check it out!
I tried the mini hotpot spot and ordered their Signature 45, and it did not disappoint. The portion was perfect for a personal hotpot, and the broth was rich, flavorful, and comforting without feeling too heavy. The ingredients were super fresh -- especially the veggies and sliced meats -- and everything cooked quickly and evenly. Service was fast and friendly, and I loved that each person gets their own pot, so you can choose exactly what you want without compromising on spice level or flavor. The place is clean, cozy, and great for a quick lunch or casual dinner. Clean and friendly service! Perfectly located for a quick grocery shopping afterwards.

Their level of spicy is more than any normal Chinese food. So be aware. Menu and ordering are thru qr code on the corner of your table. We ordered: #6 farm tomato and pork meatball - thick broth #9 thai style golden broth lamb - has a kick #12 Korean style kimchi beef #11 japanese style miso tofu - vegetarian Sweet sour pork ribs - need more flavour Homemade spicy crispy pork - not as crispy as we wish Condiments and rice are $1 extra per person Complimentary tea has their own herbal fragrance. Overall food ok. The lady is very nice and attentive. Fyi, if you review via yelp or Google, you can get free fresh plum drink or brown sugar jelly.
First of all , this is a very clean restaurant with Excellent king county health rating. The owner is very friendly. As for its food, it is a hotpot and as good as others. I ordered medium spicy and it was actually very spicy. The portion is pretty generous. For $1, you have access to the sauce and rice bar.
Good food. The flavors of the pot very much resembled hot pot, but the flavors weren't as full as expected. Good food, but it didn't make me feel "wow this hits the spot!" I really enjoyed the concept of this restaurant though. The server was very nice and easy to talk to.

De Hotpotmini might just be the best personal hotpot in the seattle area! The flavor of the broth is rich and satisfying (I got the signature spicy beef) and the meat quality is insane. I love that they have a full sauce bar like you'd find at a hotpot restaurant too. I'll be back!

Upon entry, I was greeted by a friendly waitstaff and gave me recommendations of their spicy level. The dining room seems clean, bright and roomy. I ordered the beef pot with mild spicy but still too spicy for me. Their style is not like Boiling Point's Taiwanese mala but Chongqing's. The soup base is a lot more greasy in comparison and less veggies. They offer a sauce bar with unlimited steamed rice. Service was quick in terms of only 1 waitstaff present on the floor. Overall 3 stars, the taste was not what I expected.

I had a great personal sized hot pot at de hotpotmini! It's a bit difficult to find inside the food court but it's very cozy. There weren't any other patrons when I went, so I felt comfortable getting up and going to the side dish bar often. The food was delicious and a good amount of spicy, and I could grab more side dishes to balance out the spice when needed. read more
Convenient little spot tucked away in the same building as Asian family market. Place was pretty empty, and service was quick and friendly. I ordered the tomato hot pot and for the first time, I finished everything the pot came with lol. The meat and veggie variety was pretty standard to other spots. Soup was yummy as well. Saw the place a few times and promised myself to visit.., finally it was a good occasion today. Great service very friendly. The tea was good and the hot pots that we both had were a little bit spicy for me, but they were so good that we couldn't resist and we both finished everything. read more

Just randomly walked in this new restaurant and got surprised with the flavor, the meat quality, and the cleanliness here. This place has the best meat quality for single hotpot in Seattle area, the cut is thick but tender! I am already a fan of Chinese food and this spot stood out to me. The owner is from Chongqing and she provides great services, I feel welcoming and enjoy the ambiance here read more

Taste is very clean and simple. Very honesty enjoyable. Owner is very courteous. Just make sure to refill your own water at the self service and the topping bar is simple but very well stocked. A nice quaint store. Good ambience. Not crowded on the weekday we went. read more

This is nothing like the renowned De Zhuang I have in mind. It's more like Boiling Point Hot Pot + a sauce bar. Speaking of the sauce bar, it met the minimum without any fruits. The sesame oil was just plain oil, zero sesame flavor, not even artificial, which isn't terrible, I guess. I ordered the Thai style golden broth seafood, but nothing about it was Thai. Absolutely nothing. They should've just called it Chinese hot and sour so I could've adjusted my expectations and wouldn't have been so disappointed. I loved the bean thread noodle and liked the fish. The other ingredients were average, except the imitation crab was literally crap!! I never knew imitation crab could be that bad! I spitted it out, which almost never happened. The broth was good as a broth, but again not a Thai broth. It still deserves a try. Given the Bellevue food standard and all the options in the food court, including Hainan chicken, malatang... etc. There's a lot to improve in order to survive. Great service. Nice decor but too bright for a good ambiance. I would've given these comments in person if they took the time to talk to me. If they want fewer negative reviews online and look to make improvement before too late, they should take the time to go around and talk to the customers and care about what they think. read more

Went to De Hotpot Mini for the first time and was super impressed! The servers were really attentive and friendly. I like how everyone gets their own individual pot with your own flavor and spice level. The food came out so fast, and everything was very flavorful. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to when I'm craving hotpot again! read more

The food and service were awesome! Meat quality was high and the broth was very flavorful. Had the best tomato broth here! Number 2 was very spicy and numbing though, so I'd recommend light spice if you can't handle too much mala and spice. Fried pork was a unique dish, very good too. I liked how the dining area was brightly lit and very clean. Will definitely come back in the future! read more

Ordered the #2 and 3 mini hot pots and the crispy pork. The food came out very fast, and was easy to order through the QR code on the table. The crispy pork was very crispy and flavorful. Both hot pots were delicious and filling, with large portions. If you are not used to the sichuan spice, I would recommend less or normal spice, as it was a good amount of spice and we ordered normal spice. I recommend getting the $1 sauce bar, since you also get unlimited rice with it as well. The restaurant is very clean and is located near the Asian family market. read more

Service was amazing. The waitress was very attentive to us and very nice. Absolute sweet heart. The food was alright. Similar to boiling point but I think not as flavorful. There was a lot of chili oil. It seemed like the spicier you want your broth, the more oil there is and it essentially coats the broth. The broth was good though! If you fish out the amount of oil there is. The meats were good as well nothing wrong there. We got the sauce bar and rice for $1. There's some selections but not a lot compared to some other hot pot places around. But the rice is included with the sauce bar and I quite liked that as usually there's a charge for each bowl of rice elsewhere. The interior was well decorated. There's a decent amount of seating and you can also take out as well. This isn't a place I'd come very often. My meal total was $28.64 which isn't terrible but the amount of oil there was just not it for me. read more

Superb! This hotpot was definitely similar to Boiling Point, but a tad bit smaller and apparently a lot of more variety of hotpot broth. The environment and the service here were very welcoming and very quick to serve with a smile on their faces. As someone who has Asian immigrant family members and pretty much lives with them under a daily basis, I understand the complications of people (or rather person in the review section) misunderstanding their service as underwhelming and uninviting. Though I will say that the server did forget to serve us our 2/3 plates of fish that we purchased after we got our broth, but they were willing to grab our plates as soon as we reminded them so all is well! Even though my family of 5 PLUS 2 of my cousins came barging in, they were willing to accommodate to our standards and meet them quite well! As for the food itself, I've only tried the Vegan Hotpot Broth, and surprisingly it's really good! I as a person love to eat MEAT but having my family choose the vegan broth for me helped me open up to new flavors and I certainly would try it again here! Would definitely come here again with my friends! read more

I came here for lunch to try it out for the first time. It was good. Reminded me of Boiling Point but slightly less costly. However, I got their hottest option on the menu and was not hot enough compared to Boiling Point. But I was able to add more chili that was offered in the condiment bar to increased the spiciness to a level I like. I appreciate that they offer the condiments bar which when I was there included various sauces, green onions, Thai chili, and Asian potato salad. You can also refill rice as much as you like. read more
